My partner and I were the only Westerners that we could see so did not have much interaction with others. Got a few looks. Yukatas are offered in the rooms should you want to use. We Loved the private onsen on the top floor. Was a good view over the river. Buffet was good, you get an hour time limit to have your breakfast/dinner. however the Buffet did not have any English translations for the food on offer which meant we were scanning the cards and holding up the buffet line 😂 was quiet and very close to Kinugawa Onsen Stn.

Room had a stale smell, like faded cigarettes. We spoke to the staff and they said it was normal. After leaving doors and windows open for a day (while we were out) it dissipated a bit. TV is a bit small for the price you pay.

I'm surprised that this hotel doesn't have a higher rating. Everything was excellent. It is a 5 minute walk from the station with picturesque views of the river. The room was very spacious and comfortable with nice toiletries provided. The buffet dinner is great, so much to choose from and very high quality. Facilities are amazing - plenty of indoor and outdoor onsens, two infinity pools overlooking the river plus a host of other facilities I didn't have time to use. Would love to stay here again.

The service is top notch! The front desk staff speaks english well and helped us book boat ride as well. They have both indoor and outdoor swimming pool, which is a nice surprise. The outdoor pool view is amazing! The buffet has bottomless alcohol drink with good varieties, which a big plus.

The room is a bit small and out dated compared to similar price hots spring hotel. The buffet food is not impressive, specially the dessert is quite a disappointment.

This part of our trip through Japan was the unexpected highlight of the whole vacation. Nikko is quaint and beautiful and the hotel was peaceful and relaxing. We had such a great time! The staff were very accommodating and kind to our kids as well.

The abundant facilities include a large public bath, one level of external foot bath and another level external pools, and an indoor flow pool. it is also one of the closest establishments from Kinugawa Station where one could take a train to Nikko.

The limit of 60 minutes to dine.

Location was good and the scenery from the room was very nice. Staffs were helpful and treats well. Dinner was decent and breakfast was delicious. Children's enjoyed the pool very much and have one slide. Onsen located inside was good.

Long queues for check-in and check-out. It took almost one hour for check-in. Breakfast have to wait for 45 mins. May be because of COVID restrictions table assignment takes time. Less vegetarian options in the menu especially dinner.

I loved how it had so many facilities like the pool,public bath and gaming areas,it’s like we’d need a whole day to cover the hotels facilities and I loved the buffet extraordinary

Excellent Service!! we had a late checkout and only had to pay a lil bit we paid for the parking because we didnt know that you gotta give the card to the front. But the staff talked to us nicely and refunded our money!🥳 Thank you so much
