Natsumi, the host is a beautiful person inside out. As soon as I stepped into her house, it felt like home, as it was very cozy. It was immaculately clean! Every time I returned to her house, she was there to welcome me, with a smile, asking me how the day went. Everything I needed was provided. The location was excellent, with the subway station a few steps away, a bakery next door, and the Tenjimbashi covered shopping arcade just across the road, an onsen within walking distance and many restaurants and cafes within easy reach. Yes, I would highly recommend a stay at Natsumi's women's guest house. I felt at ease and completely safe, being a solo traveller. Thank you Natsumi san!

I had a wonderful stay at this accommodation. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The accommodation has two rooms: a four-bed room and a twin room. I stayed in the four-bed room, and there was enough space for everyone. It was important to communicate regarding the use of the bathroom since there is only one shower and changing room, and a separate toilet with a sink. However, it was easy to coordinate with the other guests. If you're looking to experience a more authentic side of Japan, this accommodation is a great choice. It is located in a less touristy area. The Tenjimbashisuji Shopping Street with many food stalls is nearby. Highly recommended!

Location is perfect but very quiet in the neighbourhood. Very nice Japanese house style to experience as a tourist. The host was also super kind. When I first entered the place and I was one of the few who live there, I felt I would give this place 10 points but I decided to give a 9 instead for following reasons.

The toilet located in the first floor and the room is in the second floor. Which makes it a bit difficult to reach in the late night when you first need to cross other people’s sleeping places and go downstairs. It just makes you feel guilty for going to toilet. And all doors are clearly heard for opening or closing, so I was moving around in the house super carefully and tried my best not to disturb anyone. Not much of relaxing feeling to be honest.

The host was very friendly and explained the house rules very thoroughly. The sleeping area was on tatami mats and each bed was sectioned off with a screen to allow some privacy. I was able to use the kitchen freely and have some green tea and coffee. The toilet was separate from the shower/bathroom which was good and everything was very clean. The guesthouse is also close a long shopping street and a few minutes away from a subway station which is very convenient.

I had a few mosquito bites from sleeping near the window (not sure if this was because there was a gap in the window, but I also am quite prone to bites also..)

The people running this place are so nice and polite, it was so lovely to talk to them ☺️ The hostel is very clean and cozy and has all the facilities needed, including a spacious dining room, kitchen, bathroom, toilet and a washing room. It's perfect for women, they have a lot of self-care products which you can freely use there, hair dryers, towels, hangers, free WiFi, tea and coffee... basically, everything you need when traveling. It's also very close to a metro station and a convenient store. Definitely recommend staying there ❤️

Everything was great

This is my first time staying in guesthouse as a solo traveler and not regretting it at all! It's a Japanese house with a modern touch. The place is comfortable, and i feel safe here. They provide free coffee and tea in the dining room and also toiletries. The bathroom still uses traditional bathtubs, so it gives you new experience. The host is super nice! She explained the house rules clearly and showed nearby attractions.

The only downside (well, it's a common thing actually if you're staying in a guesthouse) is because you stayed with other guests, you need to be really careful not to make loud noises. If you're coming late at night, the other guest has already turned off the light, so you need to use your phone flashlight to get to the bed or take your stuff.

The host was very polite and friendly. She explained the rules, guided me through the city, and offered free tea and coffee. The place was super clean. In the end, when I asked for a picture, she happily obliged. She is so generous. Though my stay was short, I'd love to stay again on my next trip to Japan. I would personally highly recommend it for solo female travelers looking for a budget-friendly and clean place to stay.

All was ok. The thing that i didn't like was i booked just for a night. I wish i could extend my stay bit more..

Calm and quiet location far enough away from the mayhem of Dotonburi & Shinsaibashi, but with easy access via subway to dip in if you want. Secure, tidy, with heaps of flexibility to come and go as you need, plus the ability to store luggage if you arrive early or don't want to drag a bag around after check out. Appreciated having use of the kitchen and the coffee machine for early morning, though there are some great bakeries and cafes heading toward Nakazakicho station about 10 mins walk if you can wait til they open at 10am. Less than 5 mins walk to Japan's longest covered shopping street -Tenjimbashi. You're more likely to be eating and shopping with locals here so don't expect the souvenir shops that you'll get in Shinsaibashi. But you could get amazing bento at heavy discount in the afternoon. Good venues for beer and late night food along the railway line near Umeda station about 20 mins walk.

I only wish I could have stayed longer!

The host Natsumi-san is very nice and helpful. The place is very comfortable and maintained well. The common area (includes shower room, toilet) is very clean and neat. There is also free and great coffee provided at kitchen counter (if you are coffee lover). The bakery is very nice and cheap too. For solo traveller, the location of the guest house is wonderful (few mins walk from train station) and had many convenient stores, restaurant nearby. Highly recommended to female solo travellers! Feel very safe and at home.

A great stay for solo female travellers! Staff is very welcoming and I found it so easy to talk and make friends with the other girls staying there :) in a good location close to the longest shopping street as well as close to the subway station. Accommodation is well equipped with everything you could need, and the hostel experience is so worth it!

Beware that you will be staying in a shared room with other girls, there is a divider between the tatami mats but otherwise an open shared space. I didn’t mind the lack of privacy, it was nice sharing the space and chatting with the other girls like a big sleepover!
