Its in the middle of Douyama (which filled with entertainment and food). They have 3 sauna, 2 at 1st level, 1 at 2nd level. They also have steam room and a pool at first level. Second level sento (public bath) is the one i enjoyed as its big and less crowded. They also have outdoor sento on the 3rd level.

Maybe it is just me, but i having a hard time to find the lift up to the capsule. The lift was a bit hidden. I didnt get a big locker even though i stayed for a night. Probably they charged for it so im not sure. Only one narrow locker to use which i was lucky i already put my big luggage at a coin locker.

This place has onnsen, sauna, bathing amenties, towels, everythings you need for you. Just walk in empty handed you will get everything inside. This inn lpcated in a perfect locations full of nightlife and resturants.

You have to check out everyday at 10am and check in again at 4pm, no matter how many nights you stay. This is a very weird regulation. Booking.com should make a remark about checking in and out on daily basis even you booked for more than one night. I suggest you stay only one night otherwise you have to check in and out everyday which is quite frustrating. There are penalty if you check out after 10am which is 150 yen per 30 minutes late check out.

Everything. A very special experience for a foreigner. Basically, the sleeping area is only for sleeping. You can't even bring you luggage in there but leave it at the luggage room. Almost everyone is in the pajamas/robe provided by the hotel. I especially love the bathing/spa area. There are many different kinds of pools to be in, one I love the most being the one that mildly shocks you with electricity. Friendly staff that are not good at English but try their best and use Google translate to assist.

Probably the fact that you'd have to check out and back in every day, even if you're staying multiple nights.

The place is very well located near train stations and various restaurants. The staff are always helpful and accommodating. The facilities were all kept in good condition. It’s a great place for how little you have to pay.

The fan in a capsule isn’t too strong and it gets hot at night. A very unreasonable decision to make people check in and out every day even if you stay for 4 consecutive nights. Which means you have to check out before 10 every morning and this wasn’t always convenient for me. I believe it’ll be even better for the hotel if they aren’t required to check out everyday.

The location is great. The spa and baths are spread across 2 floors and have an extra open onsen at the roof. Everything is clean and nicely tidied up with lots of things provided for comfort and usage. The capsules are quiet and nice - a little old and the place has visibly shown it's age - but that still adds to the retro charm of the place. Not much you need to require from a proper capsule hotel apart from sleeping capsule place to clean yourself and relax as well as the peace of mind. Funnily the carpet imitates wooden panels but is soft everywhere to ensure comfortable walking without shoes (shoes are left in the shoe lockers before getting to the floor.

Location-wise, the capsule was very near the center of Osaka, making it a good location. It is also in the middle of a shopping district so you can have everything you need nearby, especially if nightlife is what you're looking for. The onsen and sauna were also good. There was one fluent english-speaking staff at night, so it may help you. I also had a dry massage there, and the elderly lady knew how to properly massage. She sounded a little agitated, though, but other than that, it was a proper massage. Overall, this is not a bad place to crash if you're looking for somewhere nearby, considering its cost and locations, and as long as you're already comfortable with the public onsen culture.

Pillow was way too hard for me, so i used the provided futon, rolled it up and used it as a softener. Changing may be a little difficult in the locker rooms because of the cramped space.

Historic first capsule hotel in Japan designed by Kurokawa, I was glad to see they retained some architectural and design elements of the original.it would have been amazing to see how it was in 1979 (they had so pictures of how it was, extra groovy 70s style). Anyway, the capsules have been updated, which is a major plus. There are saunas, indoor and outdoor baths, and even a small pool to enjoy here, as well as many relaxation spaces. Locker area looks retro too, which I found fun. Almost every guest here was Japanese, adding to the feel of authentic non touristic Japan.

I loved the location of this capsule hotel. A few minutes walk from Osaka station. Next to a multitude of shops for food and even has some love hotels nearby. The sauna and public bath was always very clean and open. Very good to relax there for a while after a full day of walking.

I wish they had restrooms on every floor. I had a room on the 5th floor and would have to go to the 2nd floor to pee all the time. Just a mild inconvenience though.

For solo travelers with small luggage is perfect. If I could, I'd give it 11/10. Restaurant/Bar was super good and prices were very honest for an hotel (they stayed open until very late, so I could have a late night dinner)! I enjoyed a lot both Spa and sauna. It's all well kept too. Initially, I had to understand how it worked the whole place, but once I started to understand, it was very easy and intuitive. It's definitly more than worth it for the price.

Great for a night to experience a classic capsule hotel in Osaka! The capsule was super comfy, cozy and cool. No noise from others, and actually had the best sleep. Felt like being in space lol.

Unfortunately I couldn't use the spa since I have tattoos but well that's just how they roll so I knew that going in. Also the showers are 200 yen for 10 mins. But they are clean and not a biggie for the whole experience.
