The room was small but very comfortable with an amazing view of Osaka. There was a washing machine and dryer for a small fee which was very handy for us. All the facilities were clean and of good quality. There was free hand soap, razors, tooth brushes, skin care sets, shower caps etc for guests. In the common area there was free cold and hot water as well as a microwave. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from a 7/11.

The breakfast finished at 9am which was extremely early. Although there was a wide variety of food for breakfast, there wasn't many options that were suitable for European/American travellers. The breakfast mostly had sushi, rice, salad, soup and other hot dishes. It would have been nice if there was toast or fruit. The common area/breakfast area wasn't very comfortable and in the reception of the hotel.

The hotel is based in a central location, a few minutes walk from Tenjinbashi-suji Rokuchome station. The room was a typical layout for all Toyoko Inn hotel chains - a bed, simple furnishing and small bathroom and shower. Small but larger than most city-centre hotels in Japan. I also like the fact that this hotel chain provides great local food recommendations on the TV screen, although these are only available in Japanese. The breakfast is simple but has a good selection, with cooked vegetables and dishes like curry which may not be to the liking of some western tourists but I enjoyed it.

The place was extremely cheap and conveniently connected via metro, as well as a 15m walk to a main train station. The rooms are western style, so that can also be nice if you are tired of futons! The breakfast is a nice addition, especially the fact that you could eat it in your room!!

The breakfast, though it is nice, is the same everyday, so if you stay for more than three days you might get a bit bored of it, but you will survive! Also, in my case the place was very cheap because it was partially subsidized by the Japanese Government National Travel Support programme, if the place were more expensive (I paid around 11.000 yen for three nights) than maybe it would not be as good value. It is also well connected, but it is either +1h walk or 30m train, so keep that in mind for the itinerary. Though, Osaka is so small, I actually went walking everywhere and in two days I saw all the city, so it is not that much of a problem.

Amazing complimentary breakfast; Full on Japanese hot meals with various different options. My partner and I looked forward to waking up in the morning just to get the breakfast. The staff is very polite and hardworking. Also, the hotel is located 2 minutes by foot from a train station, which makes it very convenient to get around.

The room was on the smaller side, but this is to be expected with any hotel in downtown.

Very nice stay, everything's very clean, nice and properly equipped room and bathroom, very comfy bed and good breakfast, they especially asked if we wanted to have breakfast on the next day so that they can better plan and reduce waste (I like!) JR lines and Metro station in close proximity, cosy neighborhood with good restaurants and coffee places. Would definitely come back again !

Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially at check out. There was a bit of a language barrier trying to forward luggage to next hotel but she did everything she could to help and worked it out in the end.

The location was convenient, the room and other facilities were very clean, the breakfast was simple and delicious. I appreciated the efforts and initiatives to reduce waste and to save energy.

It would have been good to have some cupboard space to hang clothes and keep bags etc, even if small.

It was clean and stuff were super polite. The breakfast was the best..

Only once after they cleaned my room my pillow smelled really bad. I asked the lobby stuff about it and they apologized and immediately changed so it was all good

Good location for travel or visit around, special near the major cultural visit.

Extend the breakfast until 1000 since that is too many people will take BF before 0900 for work. If extend then visitor could have have time selection.

Good Basic Business Hotel.. Close to Subway Line..All Toyoko Inns seem to have similar/identical design and offering template. The staff was vwey friendly and helpful they kept my bags tpost check out for a full day when I traveled out of the city..

Compact rooms both in Tokyo and Osaka.. but understandable given the Big city tag and great in city locations
