Love the Umeda area, short walking distance to Osaka station and many shopping centres and food streets in the area. Hotel interior is also tastefully designed and pleasing.

We booked the room for 2 pax but our amenities (towels, toothbrush, bathrobe) were only prepared for 1. We requested for an extra set on the first day but subsequently, we were still only given 1 set and had to repeatedly request for an extra set from the reception. Room was also smaller than expected, we could not open 2 luggages at the same time.

The room was great, bed was super comfortable and pillows were good. The location is about a 15 minute walk from the train station so not too bad in terms of getting everywhere. The staff were exceptionally nice and friendly, they were willing to store of bags before and away our check in/out due to later trains. I really appreciated this and they were very kind.

The bed was comfortable and was queen sized. The staff was very friendly and super nice as we had booked last minute, late in evening. Short walk from Osaka Station City and several food, bars, and convenience stores nearby, as well as paid parking lots.

1. Near Osaka Station. About 9 minutes walk. 2. If you have lots of luggages, it’s very easy to get taxi or bus going to Osaka Station and / or vice versa. 3. Very nice and polite staff. 4. Price is very reasonable. 5. Has storage room for your luggages (free of charge) after you checked out, just in case you want to do some last minute shopping before you travel to Kansai International Airport for your flight. 6. There’s Lawson’s convenience store beside it. 7. There’s also a 24-hour Don Quijote store about 4 - 5 minutes walk from the hotel. 7. It’s along the main road and very easy to find.

Rooms may be relatively small but it does not really matter to us since small rooms appear to be standard in Japan. Besides, for the price, there is nothing more I can say but good things for the hotel.

Location is less than 10 minutes from the edge of the Osaka rail station. There's many retail and convenience stores as well as restaurants along the way. In the evening, there's a large lighted hotel sign at the building top and street level in case you get lost like we did. There are hotels closer and inexpensive around the Osaka station. Room seems to be smaller than others in Japan I've been in with little space for luggage. Felt cramped but this seems perhaps typical of Japan hotels. Large assortment of items for breakfast buffet, including natto, scrambled eggs, curry, sausage, veggie and fruit salads, miso soup, rice with nori, packaged pastry. Ate there a couple times during 6 night stay. Very convenient and pretty good. Amenities including toiletries, tea are on second floor beside Front Desk. They will also store your belongings after you check out while we go shopping.

Maybe due to language problem, staff seem to give incorrect information. We wanted our luggage sent to Kansai airport, but he insisted we had to do it the day before. One of the brochures at their counter proved otherwise and the online reservation we made confirmed it. Not used to front desk on second floor.

Everything went smoothly for our stay at Hotel Wing which is a convenient 10-15 minute walk from Osaka Station. The staff were polite & efficient & a vast array of toiletry items are available near reception. The hotel is surrounded by eating places, in alleys & the main streets. Wifi worked well. As expected, our room was very compact but well organised with excellent sound proofing. The pillows were lovely & soft! 😊 Rooms are only cleaned every 3 days but clean towels are available & rubbish collected daily if put outside your room. We arrived here by train but opted to leave for the Kansai airport by bus as the buses go more frequently & it is less chaotic than Osaka Station. Strangely the airport buses leave from the Hotel New Hankyu which is close to Osaka Station, about 15 minutes walk from the hotel. Reception has timetables. A taxi to Kansai airport would cost around $A200! We would stay here again.

We missed having a coffee machine for all guests - only 2 weak coffee bags were provided for 2 people for our 3 night stay. Unlike others we stayed at in Japan, no free drinks at this hotel.

An extremely convenient walk to Osaka station which has plenty of restaurants and shops along the way. Recommend to get above ground early via lift or escalator from the station if you have suitcases as the nearest underground exit to the hotel only has stairs. Neat and clean room with enough amenities and an adequate bathroom.

Rather fixed check in time of 3pm, be sure to plan ahead if arriving before 3pm but hotel staff are extremely nice to store your luggage until the check in time. Breakfast held in a very small cafe so we decided to skip that.

The location was within a few blocks of an Osaka Umeda Metro station with several convenience stores and restaurants nearby. I found that Exit M-10 at the end of the East Mall was the closest to the hotel. My room was a bit tight on space but very comfortable. Having the English NHK news program on the TV was great. The breakfast buffet had a nice selection of items. I especially appreciated that they offered yoghurt and fresh fruit. I was able to check in a couple of hours early on my second stay for a reasonable fee. They have a microwave on 2 different floors and a self-service laundry facility. I would stay here again.

The room lies not very far from Osaka station, but to get your way out of the station is sometimes challenging in Japan. The same in Osaka. Near some convenience stores, where you can buy dinner and microwave it, if necessary. Though there are also many restaurants nearby. The room has everything but is quite small. But the price is relatively low. The hotel is part of a chain where we stayed in Tokyo, but no free drinks and breakfast included here (but cheaper). In the evening, you can open the window.

The reception is on the 2nd floor and it is very small. Impossible to check in early (and as usual late check in early check out).

The bathroom smelled a bit of drains You have to pay for the laundry machines which given the price of the room felt a bit odd- a lot of cheap hostels I’ve stayed at in Japan provide laundry machines for free. I wouldn’t have minded if the machines worked well but you have to spend quite a bit of time and money getting clothes to dry properly. I paid for the drier and still ended up having to air dry soaked clothes.
