The room was a good size, having the chairs and table was a great addition. The free breakfast bread was great too. We also liked the location being really well signed and easy to find. It was an easy walk to train stations and a pleasant walk to the main attractions. Having 24h reception was also great for the night life of Osaka.

The bed was extremely hard, I would even be happy to pay extra for a soft mattress overlay if this was available from housekeeping. The shower was a bit short for my husband. The room had a nice large windows with balcony but it was not permitted to go onto the balcony.

This was our second stay at this hotel. The hotel itself is not fancy and modern, and honestly pretty average. Room #503 was clean, had a separate kitchenette and sink area, separate water closet (which we prefer), was comfortable, and within a 10 minute walk to Namba Station. There are Family Marts and a sundries store next door. Our favorite things about the hotel are the amenities: free nightly adult beverages until 20:00, free ice cream and nightly drinks from the coffee/soda machines until 22:00, and delicious fresh baked (in their own bakery right there in the breakfast room!) bread in the morning. This hotel is an outstanding value, and we will stay here again if/when we return to the Osaka Namba area.

We did not regret deciding to stay in a quieter location from Dotonburi after walking around that area at night and seeing the crowds. The neighborhood was peaceful with so many conveniences nearby (Family Mart on the ground floor, multiple restaurants and other convenience stores around, nearby metro station). We thought the freebies (bread, drinks, ice cream, alcohol) might be too good to be true, but they were exactly as advertised. Actually, the bread really exceeded expectations. They also allowed outside food to be heated and eaten in the dining hall. The hotel rooms were spacious enough considering the others we looked at online within the same price range.

There's only one elevator to service 10 floors. It wasn't too much of a hassle though since it always seemed to be available whenever we needed to ride it.

- Location was convenient enough. 5 mins walk from Daikokuchou station and 10 minutes ish from Namba station. There is a FamilyMart right next door. - Staff are friendly and helpful. Room cleaning was done with high quality - Room is spacious considering Japanese standard. Good value for the bucks in that sense - Traveller friendly. We used their coin laundry and borrowed a plug converter from the front desk. - My room has a balcony if anyone cares.

- I might want to go for a hotel closer to the Nipponbashi side if I am staying in Namba next time. The location of Hotel Relief is convenient but if you want to go for more popular places to eat or visit the vibrant neighbourhoods, there is still a decent 10-15 minutes walk - The hotel lobby is so small that I felt bad when I asked if I could store my luggage for a couple of hours, because they have no space!!!!

Double room for 2 people is big enough! Bed is big and the TV is big, too. A loveseat sofa to relax before bed time. There’s not only a simple private kitchen which needed to require hotel staffers to turn it on, but also a private balcony! (No washing machine in the room but you can use the public one and hang out clothes to dry on the private balcony) Otherwise, all-you-can-eat buffet for breakfast is such a good deal! Breads were all delicious! We go to the public lounge on 2F around 7:00-7:30, and we all enjoyed a lovely breakfast time. Staffers are all nice and quickly checked in and out (there are smart check-in machines,too.) Thank you so much!

Room’s floor vibrated when toilet flushed or showered. We don’t know why but it was just a small,harmless problem. Hotel Location is between Namba and Daikokuchou station, both need about 10-15 minutes to walk from station to hotel with luggages. There’s no bus stop nearby, and Daikokuchou station’s elevator is at 6 exit which is the farthest station exit from hotel. You need to induce the room card in the elevator and can go to the public space and the room floor you stay only. Though it’s safer for the customers, but there are outdoor stairs, perhaps it will be unconvinced on the rainy day? Maybe make a hook or shelf in the bathroom to put some clothes on it will be more convenient. Except for the points above, all great!

For a Japanese hotel, the room is quite large! They also had a lot of complimentary drink services as well as a morning bread buffet for breakfast included in the cost. Checkin and checkout was easy and they were kind enough to hold our bags for us both before checkin and after checkout. The bed was quite big, everything was clean, perfect for our two night stay. A train station was super close by (maybe 3 min walk) and the express train to Kansai Airport (KIX) was only about a 10-13 min walk away.

The room was a little noisy since it was street side but as a very light sleeper I thought it was mostly fine. There is just one elevator and we were on the 9th floor, so checkout time got a bit crowded but it was not a big deal. We were later warned by some locals that this area is a bit on the seedy end, but "seedy" in Japan is incredibly tame -- mostly it was less fun and had less interesting shops/restaurants than other parts of town.

We used it as our base to travel to nagoya, nara, hiroshima, miyajima. Not bad at all. Free bfast as well, good selections of bread! They have 2 washing machine and dryers. You have to buy the detergent powder from the reception. Need to remove the lint from the dryer before use! And i love hanging our clothes in the balcony! Theres a curry house nearby that guests should try! Lawson is under / beside the building, and a souveneir shop where u can buy gifts etc.

The room is bigger than others for this rate. Even there's no breakfast at the hotel but morning bread is very good! and we can bring food to join all you can drink,ice cream at the hotel. they also have lots of convenient store nearby including LIFE supermarket (the food is superb!) From Kansai airport, it was convenient just take Airport express line to Namba station then you can easily walk to hotel.

There's only 1 elevator but if you're not in hurry that's fine.

Location Good, Bakery in morning was so good but quanlity less than number of guest If you come around 9.00 hrs. almost out of stock, I recommend to refill till time up at 9.30 hrs. and if service can start from 5.00 am would be good. Cocktail in everning good but no service , my recommend to change to beer. So far all is good over my expectaion. Room also biger than expect and have toilet and bath room separted.

bake offer in morning need more to sevice for all guest and need start at 5 am. Incase of can not start 5 am. need to offer with snack box for person who early check out. Hotel give time chck in at 15.00 pm. so late. but they provide store for keep belonging. Will be good if can provided area to take bath.

The location was great. You are about a five minute walk from two train stations: Daikokucho station and Namba station. There are restaurants all around and a FamilyMart right next door. The hotel provides toiletries such as shampoo conditioner, toothbrushes and toothpaste. It comes with great air-conditioning. They offer a great selection of breads, cereals, waffles, and beverages for breakfast. You can do your laundry there if you are staying for a while.
