The facilities were well-maintained and tidy. Our room was cozy and equipped with all the necessities we required for a comfortable stay. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet. Imano's proximity to public transportation made it incredibly convenient for us to explore other parts of Tokyo. Overall, our experience at Imano Tokyo Ginza Hostel was nothing short of fantastic. From the attentive staff to the cozy accommodations and unbeatable location. We would highly recommend Imano Tokyo Ginza Hostel to anyone looking for a comfortable, affordable, and centrally located accommodation option in this vibrant city. We look forward to returning in the future!
Nothing. All very good.

Place was easy to find, price is decent given that it's in Ginza (and honestly there aren't many hostels around this area) and there's always someone at the reception counter. Shower area is kept clean, with dry and wet area, i like it! I went out late one day and saw that there were 2 cleaners on my floor clearing up the toilets and shower areas. Shampoo, hair conditioner and body soap is provided. In your own little "pod, you have charging points, light switch and a little shelving to keep ur belongings, very useful. Right outside your pod, you have more shelving spaces, to hang your coat, shoes, shopping bags etc.
Bed was really just a hard mattress, I stayed for 6 nights and by the 3rd morning my back and shoulders were aching. They also charge for towel (200yen) and many other things (toothbrush and toothpaste etc) which you may forget to bring and gotta purchase. There's a stale air smell in the room, unsure if they clean/vaccum the carpeted flooring within or not.. but once you open the door to enter, the smell hits you and you go like "urgh" for the next 10seconds until you get hiding into your pod. Shuffling of bed sheets, movements on bed will cause the wooden planks to make some squeaky sounds which can be heard by everyone in the room. I'm a deep sleeper so it's fine for me, but i can imagine light sleepers feeling disturbed.

The hostel was incredible value for money. Clean and comfortable, with great policies in place for making sure everyone respects one another. The blackout curtains let no light through. The bunk beds were spacious enough to fit a duffel bag at my feet with room to spare (5’10”). Above everything else was the staff. I had the very stressful experience of losing my wallet on the first day, and Chloe went above and beyond to help me. Her kindness and generosity saved me so much time and stress. Even when my wallet was found and I no longer needed help, Chloe and the rest of the staff always greeted me with a smile and were very helpful. Given the impeccable cleanliness, location, thoughtful policies, and incredibly kindness, this is definitely a 10/10 stay!

It’s better than the last time. Place got a get upgrade and it’s so good. The beds are comfy, clean sheets, toilets and showers were clean and now they had a 2nd level to chill out
I had a mishap that I may have left a brand new iPhone behind and the staff member didn’t register the importance of the matter. Instead she kept saying wait a minute as she checked in guests and then continued on to do. Hello I have a flight to catch and my matter is urgent !! Her response was “ it’s check in time” priorities and understanding what is important esp when leaving for a flight as to someone just arriving esp when I was before them

The hostel location was in a prime position for the trains. The cleanliness of the hostel was also very appealing. They had offered several homemade books which provided information about local eats and things to do. The staff there were very kind and offered opinions about what to do during our stay. We had a hiccup on our second to last day (on a holiday weekend no less), but the staff were very helpful and understanding to help resolve the issue. The dining/longue area was very spacious and the bar they had provided an assortment of drinks. Overall, the atmosphere, the location, and the staff were very pleasing and I would recommend this hostel to anyone who are considering a trip to Japan. I would personally stay here again for any future plans to Tokyo.
There was not much that wasn't already offered. The only quip I suppose would have to be how small the designated smoking area was. And that wasn't even really an issue because they provided a location to smoke regardless.

Helpful staff, cozy environment, powerful hair dryer in women guestroom
Kitchen cleanliness could still be improved The wooden platform of my bed made so much noise I couldn't really move when I sleep so I don't disturb others

The position is strategic and well served (20 mins by walk to Tokyo station and near Ginza District) and the building is nice. Prívate rooms are essental and comfortable, but very essential (some little touches could make them nattier) and the ensuite bathroom perfectly equipped. The area of the bar is full of light in the morning and cozy in the evening.
Breakfast might be improved and more punctual. Staff seemed a little evasive (not always, not everyone) which made the atmosphere not so “energized”

Location is best, 10 mins walk from Ginza and Tsukiji lines. 20 mins walk from Tokyo station, there's a lovely veg and fruit shop nearby too which came in clutch. Lawsons round the corner too, and many 7-11. they are highly recommended for solo travellers for the price and location.
it's not much of an issue but when you travel solo in a dorm people tend to sweat a lot and the rooms begin to stink a lot, the rooms could be more ventilated, but others should be more considerate about their hygiene. other than that the rest of the days were great

Very good common area (which is also the bar). Each floor has 3 toilets and 1 shower so there was never any waiting. Showers & washroms were always clean (because of the way they are designed). Large sink. Free bodywash, shampoo etc. The dorm rooms have a room freshener which is very handy. Each person gets a dedicated space inside the room to keep luggage + shoes. There are very mini lockers outside the room that anyone can use. Useful kitchen with fridge, microwave, kettle, water dispenser.
The pod bed was making a creaking sound which was not very comfortable. No lockers inside the bed space. The lockers in common area are very small (only for valuables such as passport etc, laptop will not fit). More cooking cutlery should be provided in the kitchen. No induction or cooktop.
