Our room was fantastic for our family of 5. Spacious and clean.

There are a lot of rules and potential for associated fees, which meant that it stayed clean, however one of the rules was to not allow food from outside. This was fairly inconvenient given early starts and not "allowed" to have breakfast or drinks. This was a surprise as it wasn't described in any of the booking information that I received.

A nice little room for our last two nights in Tokyo. Family of four (2 adults, 2 kids aged 9 + 12) booked the economy twin room, and it was a tight squeeze, get a bigger room if your kids are older. Ten min walk from two different subway lines. The woman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, they provided an additional futon mattress for the sofa bed to make more comfy and extra pillows at our request. Free umbrellas saved the day when it poured and she showed us where a bakery was for breakfast and helped with our bags. And this may seem weird to say, but this hotel had the nicest toilet paper of the entire trip!

The area is a little noisier than other places we stayed, but the hotel provided complementary earplugs which were great also block the sound of snoring partners!

So Comfortable and in an excellent position for sightseeing only minutes from a train station for access to anywhere, super clean and friendly on a gorgeous street in an equally stunning private neighbourhood with a to-die-for bakery and petite coffee shop meters from each other across from these an intimate Izakaya which locals happily frequent...just taking a walk around the streets adjacent you will find hidden gems to dine snack and drink.....would recommend this to anyone...

Room was exceptionally tidy and layout was spacious with good facilities. The atmosphere is calm and comfortable and the location really beneficial Room were detail cleaned every 5 days including changed linen rubbish removal vacuuming etc and rubbish changed and clean towels supplied every three and came in to almost a brand new room shown by pictures every time they cleaned Good value for money and location walking distance to numerous supermarkets grocers restaurants and attractions like shopping district as well as a 1 min walk from 2 coin laundries and about a 10 min walk from the main district and I will add the bathrooms were amazing in the biggest room we had with a massive shower and bathroom and seperate toilet room making the 5 guests in the room accommodated for. The staff were exceptionally helpful and pleasant to deal with and accommodated our needs really well for example by allowing us to choose what times our rooms where cleaned and I have to commend them for storing our group of 7’s luggage even though the didn’t have the space and took it to your rooms prior to check in. They went above and beyond for our group and when I return to japan I will absolutely stay with the hotel again if I’m in that area They take pride in their service and it shows You won’t be disappointed with this hotel

Only thing would be the lack of cooking facilities; there was only a kettle and fridge so we had to eat out a lot but there was plenty of konbinis around

This hotel is in a great location. Close to the main Shinjuku station, but removed from the chaos. There are a couple of nice little restaurants near the metro station, or if you walk towards Shin Okubo there are a lot more options. The beds are really comfortable and the shower pressure is great. The rooms are small for a family of 4, but that’s Japan! We put our luggage on the sofa so it was easy to access things. Staff were very helpful with our additional requests.

It can be a little noisy at night as there were lots of fire engines going past. I’m not sure if that is a regular occurrence, but they provided complimentary ear plugs.

The hotel is modern and the room was clean. Pleasant heating in the room. About 5 minutes walk from the metro. Close to a Family Mart to buy something for breakfast.

The room was small for four people: a double bed and a sofa-bed. When you opened the sofa-bed, there was almost no space to put your suitcases. I didn't think the quality-price ratio was good (although perhaps the problem of room size and price is common to all of Tokyo). There is no staff at the hotel, it is self check-in. Breakfast is not offered, nor any other service that one can expect in a hotel.

The location and size of the room was excelent compared to other hotels of the same price. We aren't big people so the room fit the 4 of us well with sofa beds and bedding that can fit 2 more. I can imagine it being a struggle for bigger folks. As with most hotels, they provided slippers which was helpful.

Its not a big thing, but while check-in was smooth, the language barrier did get in the way of making enquiries over messages. For some reason, the translated conversations here worked less well than with other hotels and we weren't able to use the information provided to make travel decisions confidently.

Overall a great location, not a far walk from the bustle of Shinjuku with restaurant options really close to the hotel and a convenience store. Bed (two fulls pushed together) was also very comfortable.

We were not allowed to utilize the patio because it had been recently painted/stained, which was disappointing cause it looked nice. No elevator or lift, so you probably want to stay here early in your vacation before you start buying all the souvenirs.

Was happy with the location - close to train stations and in a more quieter area not too far from all the shopping etc Staff were really friendly and was grateful they provided cleaning services more than twice during our 9 day stay while we were out and about Condition of the room was also very clean, overall great value for money :)

The only thing we wished we had was a microwave - but this is minor, and not absolutely necessary for us

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful whenever we had questions or any problems. For hot days there's a vending machine right outside the building. A Family Mart around the corner and a wash & dryer spot a few steps away. Freshly baked bread made at a spot that's a 2-3min walk. A good 15min walk to Kabukichō if you're interested in anything in that area. Sakura Cross Hotel Shinjuku East is a good spot to stay with everything around you and at a walking distance!
