I like the condition of the room, beach availability and the service in the hotel, all managers are very friendly, polite and ready to assist.

There is no private beach in the hotel and no special service (besides towels and umbrella) that guests have to drag there and back and there was no information provided on booking.com regarding this issue.

it’s a very good hotel to stay for a week! Pretty comfortable, nice location, beautiful rooms, tasty food and attentive workers who is always ready to help.

As for the location, it’s good to keep in mind that it’s hard to get out of the territory especially during the peak time: it’s hard to get a taxi and it’s always a traffic jam to leave the area. During the breakfast it may be hard to order hot drinks and two times I got coffee when I was already finishing my breakfast. The room was often cleaned and changed bed sheets. But on the last bed linen I found a hole.

Sofitel on JBR is a fantastic hotel. The location is great, there are lots of restaurants close by and it’s easy to get to downtown or the palm. The staff were unbelievably friendly and hospitable, Divya at reception really looked after us when we arrived and accommodated us, being tired travellers, with a breakfast and place to freshen up and change while our room was being prepared. Ali on concierge was most helpful, providing sound advice and making bookings on our behalf. Rayan and Ravi from housekeeping were fantastic and left lovely towel animals which my new bride loved. The hotel was clean throughout and service at every opportunity was unbeatable. The view of the walk way, beach and sea are fantastic from the room and the breakfast offered was a pick from pretty much anything you could want. Defo recommend to anyone looking for a luxury yet friendly and enjoyable stay.

Everything was perfect from check-in to check-out, the staff was friendly and helpful and the formalities went smooth. We got our room two hours sooner and it was beyond any expectations: big, clean and with a tropical vibe. The bed was huge and comfortable and the view was spectacular at the 17th floor with frontal sea view. We booked half-board and it was the best idea ever. Breakfast had a lot of variety for all tastes and we could eat either inside or outside, naturally we dine every time outside to enhance our experience. Dinner has different a theme every night and we got: street food, international, ribs and french cusine and we enjoyed it every time. The staff was helpful and always there to help your every need. The hotel is close to DMCC Metro station and also has tram and bus connections in just 8 minutes walk. The proximity with JBR area, Dubai Marina and Bluewater it's the greatest asset because you never run out of things to do. This hotel is the best option if you want to have both a dynamic holiday in Dubai or just for relaxation.

The Sofitel is as you’d expect for a five star property. Great central location in JBR, nice breakfast (albeit pricey), clean rooms and great housekeeping service. The pool is small, however nice and cool for the August heat. It becomes a bit of a zoo with screaming kids though, so if you’re looking to relax, maybe pick a bigger property with a larger pool. While the hotel didn’t necessarily have a ‘wow’ factor, it met our expectations.

The hotel is very near to nice restaurants, starbucks and even a small pharmacy. There is also a tram nearby though the DMCC station is 1.1 km walk if you have the energy.The beach is walking distance where you can go down via private elevator from the infini pool at level P3. it’s a public beach but the hotel side is clean and can feel private if you’re early.the hotel will provide a beach bag with towels and water for you i loved the room with the bath tub that you can enjoy the view from, the mattress soft and pillows comfy I love the small touches they did during our stay: anniversary heart macaron, cleaning our room daily with clean towels, tidying our clothes, fresh new water bottles everyday, little reminders that if laundry service is needed to avail it. Loved the gym and sauna.The staff are very courteous and approachable for anything you need. I’ve stayed with Sofitel in a different country. This one in Dubai exceeded my expectations

it was my first stay and absolutely will not be the last, start from the moment of arrival i met Madonna and Marcus and i can't explain how i was lucky to meet both as they were very helpful and welcoming. i belive they did them best to accommodate immediately as same as they explan me all the hotel facilities to make sure that i will enjoy my stay. as came to celebrate my special day my anniversary Madona make sure to send us a cake to make sure that we are happy. she give us a call to congrats us on our anniversary . same from Marcos he accept our request for the late check. same for housekeeping team and room service they were making sure all our requests done fast as much as they can. the breakfast was excellent. so if you really looking to get memorable stay you need to ask about Madonna and Marcos.

we enjoyed everything about the hotel. staff were attentive, position of hotel right by the beach, rooms were comfortable, I likes that they replaced water bottles regularly as its so hot in Dubai and there was always fresh water.

would be nice if beach umbreallas were provided but in saying that we did not go to the beach as it was too hot and the pool is lovely. It is further from the airport and the Dubai mall than I thought. Taxis were quite expensive toget around

Amazing breakfast, rooms are comfortable and quiet. Nice roof top swimming pools and area. Prices in the bar are decent. Location is perfect for beach holiday. Many restaurants and bars around as well.

There was a day when we had only hot water in the shower for few hours but it was not a big deal. Also the location is a bit off if you planning to visit the central very often because of traffic jam.

beautifully decorated, taxis always outside available. STAFF EXCELLENT! at reception they could not have been more hospitable, a genuine warm welcome upon arrival. staff at the pool were amazing, working hard in that heat, they were always happy to help

my only downside is that for the size of the hotel, the swimming pool was small and I was expecting more of a wow factor but it was still a lovely pool with a good view.
