I got your e-mail requesting a review. Funny, because I'm still waiting for you to return my $100.00 deposit. Which interferes with the great on-line value of my stay. Unless I'm mistaken somehow, this scam seems to be common with Hotels, like you all got the same memo. Hotels advertise one price on line, but neglect to inform customers that there's a additional fee associated with your stay, notwithstanding the (Recorded) front desk assurance that these funds will be returned, siting any incidental fees. Never, have I ever left a room damaged or stole any incidental items. In fact, I typically don't use the house provided towels, as I bring my own. Saving you time, (House Keepers) and money. If it is factual, that you're taking & keeping returnable fees, you are setting yourself up for Class Action Law Suits. Not to mention Law Violations through individual local District Justices. This is a request for you to return the fee(s) you've taken from me throughout the last 9 months. Any information received will be used for that purpose.

The rooms were clean and comfortable

Breakfast. They should be ashamed of themselves. Plus the Breakfast woman was so non social

We arrived and were told we were upgraded to their Philadelphia room. Absolutely beautiful. Very pleased as there is a portrait of George Washington in the room and we were headed to Mt. Vernon the next day.🙂

There was a water leak from the uninhabited room above dripping into a recessed can light and there was black mould starting to break through above the bathroom ceiling. I did bring it to their attention at the front desk. The maintenance people were going in as we were leaving. Very professional.

Check in staff was very friendly and helpful. The place was full the night I was there and I never heard anything from my neighbors, so that was very nice. They definitely put in the effort to update the rooms and made them comfortable and welcoming. Nothing fancy, but nice. I even stayed when the hurrican remants were blowing through and didn't hear anything or experience any water issues.

The curtains didn't cover the window the whole way which I didn't like since the windows face the walkway and I like my privacy. There was also a gap between the door and the door jam that allowed light in the room.

The location was fantastic they had a lot of amenities the breakfast was satisfactory wish they had some potatoes the staff was very friendly and attentive to the needs

The room was clean it was a little outdated stains on the ceiling in the bathroom some vulgar Spain's along the mirror in the bathroom otherwise not too bad for the price it was very reasonable and the property yourself location is ideal and really on an average it was a adequate place to stay we stayed for three nights and had no issues

The door didn't seem very secure--like it didn't seal all the way. When I left my privacy sign up while I took a shower, I guess the housekeeper saw that and didn't offer services that day, even though I removed it when I left the room later. I have stayed here before, maybe 2 years ago, and it seems more run down. Peeling paint, etc.

Breakfast was good, even though it was wrapped up. I liked the little quiches and the banana bread. The beds were nice; the shower was great! The rooms were nice and clean. It was very handy after a long night at Longwood Gardens - that was the main reason I chose it.

The alarm clock went off at 6 am - we hadn't set it - and I couldn't figure out how to turn it off. I just kept hitting the front bar and it kept going off every 10 minutes - and we really needed the sleep. By 7 we had figured out how it worked, but I sure was frustrated with it.

The reader is referred to my previous review of a couple of weeks ago. Everything about that stay exceeded our expectations the last time. This time, we booked an Executive Queen room. While it had nothing to do with an executive atmosphere, the decor was like a quaint French guestroom. It was a surprising change from common hotel rooms. There is some artwork overlooking a work area, and the mini-refrig is housed in the armoire. For convenience, there is a multiple charging port utility on the night table. As before, the breakfast was a determinative factor. If you are staying multiple nights, the several different pool options are great amenities, including a toddler's wading pool.

As before, we found nothing to dislike, which is why we were return customers.

The hotel entrance is protected by a very wide and long canopy, enabling guests to check in during a rain storm and remain completely dry. The very pleasant curb appeal of the SureStay Plus Hotel is easily augmented by a lovely lobby, graced by a concert-style piano and a wood-grained customer service area that looks like it came from a formal library. The breakfast area is at the far end of the tiled-floored lobby and carried a symmetrical wood-grained theme. Here is a variety of hot and cold breakfast options. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Very noteworthy is that the room floors look to be a ceramic wood-grained material, making them very easy to keep clean and sanitized. The room contains a 6-drawer bureau, a large dormitory-size refrigerator, and a small microwave. The beds were very comfortable, and the shower had plenty of hot water. There is a lovely totally fenced-in pool in the center courtyard area, along with a sitting pool with water jets at one end. The courtyard area walkway has several wrought-iron tables and chair positioned around the pool for afternoon relaxing. This is a very good hotel: clean, friendly, and comfortable. Indeed, plans for our trip home changed, and I booked a night here on our way back. Our repeated business is testimony to our satisfaction.

Nothing comes to mind. Any expectations were exceeded.

We didn't have to go far off the highway, easy off and on. Front desk receptionist was very efficient and friendly.

A little noisy outside. Motel type setup, our room was right off parking lot. I prefer interior hallways in a hotel both for quiet and security. Heating unit was loud. Basic room, good value fie less than $100 a night. Breakfast was included, had quite a few hot and cold options.
