La Quinta Resort & Club, Curio Collection

it’s a beautiful property in Spanish style. I loved our room. we had a deluxe king suite with patio. the room was clean, I loved the design. bed is comfortable. there are two restaurants at the property. I recommend you go to the Spanish one for dinner and American for breakfast. there’s a market place where you can get yourself a coffee with yogurt or croissant. the property offers remote check in and wireless key from your phone which is very convenient! make sure you download the Hilton Honors app to get the access.

the pools were dirty with leaves all over and the pool floor was literally covered in dirt. there’s practically NO POOL service. so beware of that and come prepared :) if you want to enjoy a drink or food by the pool you’d have to hunt it yourself: either bring from a store or walk to the restaurant.

The resort grounds were spectacular at every turn! So beautiful and so many pools it felt like a cluster of boutique hotels inside a huge resort. The spa was luxurious and, although the front desk staff was not terribly friendly, the technicians were excellent.

For such a beautiful resort, our room was not as clean as it should have been. The sitting chair was dirty and the carpeting was filthy, especially near the door. The W. C. had long dark hairs on the toilet & floor. Some toiletries were missing and the coffeemaker was broken.

Beautiful grounds, spacious rooms and lots to do.

While the staff was helpful, we didn’t feel pampered. for example, there was no one coming around at the pool to take orders and all food is ordered from your phone. Nobody circled the pool to clean up and remove towels from lounge chairs. it felt very “contactless” which isn’t what 5 star hotels are doing these days.

Resort settings and common areas are fabulous. Staff is wonderful: friendly and helpful. I especially want to acknowledge two yoga/fitness instructors Brenda and Zita. Grounds are well maintained and clean. Also beautiful main plaza area where we enjoyed dinner and live music (live music Thursday-Sunday only though)

A lot of dated areas. For example in our room (king with private patio overlooking mountains), while the furnishings were nice and updated, the bathroom and carpet were clearly very dated. Not a deal breaker for me personally but not what most people would expect from a luxury resort. Same goes for some other less exposed common areas (like ladies locker room) and also the little pools in between the casitas. All clean and maintained but very dated. Restaurant food was OK but well overpriced for the quality.

Beautiful, scenic, clean & convenient.

We upgraded our room but were put right next to a gate that was continuously opened and slammed shut from 6 AM to 11 PM. Also, even worse a family in room next to us had screaming kids starting at 6:30 AM both inside and outside of the room.

The bathrooms are very fine. Great pool areas. Restaurant and shopping areas are very good. Fireplace is very easy to operate. Room service is surprisingly fast for a resort that size.

Children should have a designated area. They are loud. Toilletries could be Hermés. The parking situation out front can be chaotic. More EV chargers could be installed.

Restaurant service was friendly but inexperienced. Booked one night at top dollar and wondered what the endless wedding and corporate guests paid?

The room was spacious, comfortable and mostly clean (there were small ants in the bathroom). The complex was beautiful, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We had a wonderful time.

Everything was clean! The room was roomy and the fully stocked coffee bar and waters were a plus.

The room smelled mossy at night while the air conditioner was running. Also several of the pools were cloudy and a bit dirty.
