Quality Inn New Kensington

I loved that things were elegant and not institutionally brand new. The shower was excellent, beds weren’t new but quite comfy and had a real blanket. Check in clerk was friendly and professional. This day was my last of a four-day road trip with two cats and a camper. It was by far the cleanest and most comfortable.

I did not research the route to access the property and had to go down and uncomfortably steep hill with my travel trailer. But once there the parking lot is epic and almost perfectly flat. I have no complaints regarding the property itself or anyone I encounter there.

We didn't eat breakfast, was going to on Sunday but power went out Saturday night and we checked out. Was told would be back on by 9:00, but had dog with us not much to do so headed home.

You need to get locked down on all doors, or key cards to enter. The way the world is. But if they eat in they'll get in.

Front desk lady was super nice and the bed was really comfortable

The cover charge for the bar/restaurant was $10/pp… kind of ridiculous when we were staying there and going to buy food and drinks, so we didn’t participate

We stayed here to be close to the Rachel Carson Trail Challenge. All good except the bridge was out to make it easier to come in. Nice suggestions by staff on local restaurants and pizza delivery. We did not have breakfast, left too early in the morning.

Decent hotel, easy to find, and a great location.

Could use some sprucing up. The outside could be fixed up a bit. Looks rather ancient. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The Sports Bar was great and property is very close (walking distance) to major retailers (Giant Eagle) and dining options. Being pet friendly was a big plus.

The driveway entry needs re-paved, makes a poor first impression but roads in the general area are not in very good shape.

Facility was very clean and well maintained. The bed was really comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful, giving a lot of helpful suggestions on local restaurant recommendations.

Felt like a Giant in the shower and at the sink. Could use a little brighter light in the rooms.
