Not too far of a walk to the main market (worth a visit!). Area not too attractive, honestly, but not too far away from the old town, some 10-15 minutes on foot. Parts of the hotel require handling stairs from the old part, over to the newly renovated part ( ground level, parking area) into the other part, up some stairs and then there's an elevator. Not optimal with much a/o heavy luggage. Not to mention in e.g. a wheelchair. Room was equipped very well, the pictures don't lie. A few coffee pads for the coffee maker, some tea, even olive oil and vinegar! Different types (!) of glasses etc. Washing machine. Bathroom modern, beds were ok. Everything recently renovated (stay was 06-2023), one could still smell the fresh paint. Near the reception they have a coffee machine with, at least in the morning, free coffee and cups (no milk). Depending on what one is looking for: can recommend, when aware of the part of town.

As mentioned a bit difficult to navigate with luggage as one has to go through the reception area (gate to the parking area is closed) and tackling a bunch of stairs up and down.

The hotel is beautiful, cozy, newly renovated, in a good location.

They do not have breakfast included in the price of the apartment and they shouldn't charge extra for parking

Had a comfortable 2 nights in the Superior Family Room. The entire hotel is beautifully decorated, inside and outside, and spotless. The room was a good size with everything we needed, including a fan. A private car park was a bonus. We met 3 different receptionists during our stay. They were all very welcoming and helpful. Plenty of lovely restaurants nearby and old town is 10 minutes away by foot.

Not really the fault of the hotel, and they provided us a fan, but our room was incredibly warm, and air conditioning would have been nice. Another issue we had (this would only apply if you have a small child) is that the front door can't be locked from inside. So your child can freely open the door and walk out of the room. The private car park is €10 a night.

This is a newly refurbished apartment thus everything is fairly new and in good working order. The room is spacious and has good kitchenet, no toaster or oven, which seems to common to Baltic states.

The room has no a/c so you need to keep windows open to get some fresh air. This meant it is very noisy as apartment is on main street. Also the floor would shake when some big busses went past. Although the apartment well located near main train/bus station, the old town, supermarkets etc. there is also lots of homeless and drunk people. Though everybody said it was safe, we felt uneasy.

We had booked the room for 2 nights, but decided to stay one extra night - Aparthotel Amella exceeded our expectations. Room & public areas were very clean and well maintained, free coffee in the lobby was nice extra. Everything needed was provided, even got a highchair for our baby. Nice location, easy walk to many good restaurants and shopping possibilities. We had also dog with us, felt she was also very welcome. Absolutely one of the best aparthotels we have stayed. Big plus to great staff too!

The only minus why I give 9/10 instead of 10/10 is that rooms are not air conditioned. The room was quite hot when outside temperature was over +25.

The hotel was in a great location, less than 10 minutes walk to shops and access to public transport. Our room was lovely and had facilities to cook in, which we really appreciated. The entrance to the hotel is BEAUTIFUL and the staff are really friendly. All of the furnishings and decorating inside was gorgeous and up to date. I would really recommend staying here.

The only thing we had a slight issue with was not having anyone come in to clean, we were there for 5 nights and spent quite a lot of time in our rooms so would have liked the cleaners to do a quick clean up / hoover mid week and offer fresh towels.

Good location. Nice size apartment with all amenities. If anything wasn't there, staff would be happy to provide it. Complimentary coffee/ tea and water in hotel lobby. Walk into Old Town realistically 15 - 20 minutes (not 5 minutes). Shop 5 minutes. Train Station 10 minutes.

Everything was fine. At the time we stayed there were alot of roadworks and path diversions due to Rail Baltica works so you had to take care underfoot for a while when walking towards the old town.

I liked the location, it’s not in the heart of the old town, but close to it and it’s great for those travelling by car as there is a free parking, the hotel looks new with nice interior. There are coffee machine and cooler with water in the lobby. Nice smell in the hotel and in the rooms, the rooms are like a combination of a hotel and a flat because you find there oven, teapot, microwave, capsule coffee machine, washing machine. The cosmetics is also available in the bathroom.

I liked everything, the only thing is may be some washing powder for a washing machine.

Don't be mislead by the weird pictures on the webpage. Place is actually very stylish and cozy. It has everything you need and also some nice extras (full-on Rituals goods and free high quality coffee in the lobby).

I was looking for the facilities that has parking included (filtered out only the ones that has). When we arrived there was a small surprised that I needed to make separate reservation for the parking which I didn't do, so we didn't have the spot. Staff helped us to find a spot, but then is wasn't for free.

It's really feel that you staying in home not in a hotel. Places is amazing and have everything. I really enjoyed the stay i here
