For our purpose the location was excellent, opposite of the railwaystation and the international buses terminal on one hand, couple of hundred meters to the bus 22 (from or to the airport) and at the entrance to the Old City of Riga on the other hand. Rooms very comfy and excellent breakfast, even starting quite late (7 o clock). Hotel and rooms are nicely renovated and decorated, according to Riga's Art Nouveau style.

We managed to get rooms with inner courtyard view. Reading other tourists' reviews, understood that rooms with street view are quite noisy due to traffic and especially the tram. Asked the evening reception shift, upon arrival (cca 18:30), if we can have some small breakfast boxes as we depart earlier than 7. Should be feasable in a 4 stars hotel. She'll give a try, was the answer, but the staff left already, she added. Next morning, the morning reception shift was not informed at all, but we were allowed to enter the restaurant and have a coffee and whatever was already on the buffet at 10 to 7:00.

Great staff, very friendly, giving good advice. I loved the free umbrellas to borrow (luckily, it only rained once in two weeks). Reception stored my suitcase for 4 days while I was in Finland. Very good breakfast, excellent location opposite shopiing centre and airport, right at the entrance to the Old Town, Opera, Freedom Square, excursion boats, trams and buses, everything within walking distance. Room slightly dated, but spacious enough, good desk, comfy bed, mini-fridge, modern bathroom. Good curtains. Good value.

The hallway on my floor had a bad, musty odour, but not a problem as in the room was fine.

Everything was perfect about this place. The staff was kind and very helpful, the room was clean and spacious, and the hotel breakfast was most likely one of the best ones I've ever had. The location was fantastic as the hotel is in Old Riga and the bus stop from which you can take a bus to the airport is right next to it. It is also not as noisy as some people might have mentioned in their opinions - I personally had no use for the earplugs that the hotel provides you with even though my room was facing the street. Just a small tip from me in case you love to plan everything perfectly as I do: don't worry about the prepayment information once your booking is confirmed - you will pay the full price directly at the hotel :)

The breakfast was the best part. Good variety of options, everything looked very nice and the breakfast room was cozy. Even in rush time there were lots of staff making more food and cleaning up tables.

The room was a bit old and the floor made noise. Also I didn't like when the reception called us at 12:05 on the day when we were leaving saying that our check-out time has already passed and we need to leave our room. We were already that time ready to leave and doing our final checks that we didn't leave anything in the room and also we had told the cleaner that we are leaving very soon.

Good location, nice and clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast buffet was good and offered many options. Staff were very kind and accomodating with our request to change our room to be on the courtyard side of the building.

The only problem with the hotel is the fact that it is located next to a busy road. The room we had initially was on second floor and on the street side, and simply too noisy during the night due to traffic and tram noises. This may or may not be a problem, depending on how light a sleeper you are. We were able to change our room after the first night and were totally happy with the new room.

Overall great experience, hotel is newly renovated and the rooms as well as all the other areas are super clean and nice. As I was traveling with my son, I really appreciated that the staff of the hotel was supportive and nice with the kid. Breakfast is very simple, contains the usual suspects of European breakfast - scrambled egg, ham, croissants, some fruit etc as well as some local delicacies. Also what should be mentioned that the location of the hotel is really nice, it is both central (very easy to access all the public transports) and super close to the Old Town.

I wouldnt be able to say anything specific that I didn't like. The overall experience was really nice.

The hotel was beyond our expectations for the better. Its location is ideal, very close to the old town, to attractions in the newer town. Close to malls, central market, means of transportation, shops. The room was very clean, we got clean towels and toiletries were replenished every day. Breakfast is great and rich. The staff is very kind and helpful. Highly recommended for an enjoyable holiday in the beautiful city of Riga.

Good location, close to old town. Spacious room, comfy bed, plenty of amenities, fair wifi, clean bathroom. Overall good hotel

The receptionist was not very nice upon arrival. At first she didn’t want to allow me to do check in before 15h, despite my room being ready (?). She only accepted after insisting. Then she acted a bit sarcastic. Next to that, the hotel was a little smelly in common areas. The bar didn’t have anything to eat, only drinks.

Weirdly shaped bathtub that couldn't fit two, which is not a big deal or course. There is no need to exchange the hand soap every day, as it only creates more plastic.

Amazing location right in the city centre, across the road from the train station, short walk from the Freedom Monument and also the Central Market. Very comfortable beds, delicious breakfast which offered even some bubbly. Due to early flight we could not make it for the breakfast the last day, but were offered a breakfast package during our check out. Rooms were very clean.

Staff were helpful in reception.Location was perfect. Close to old town Riga and the central market across the street. 150 meters from the bus 22 to the airport. breakfast was excellent

Noise from the street tram late night and early morning, earplugs were provided. The bed was to the harder side. Only one lift in the building. Temperature in the shower fluctuated a bit.
