The hotel was nicely situated in the Old Town, easy walking distance to everywhere & close to the bus stop for the airport. Room was warm & comfortable. Don't waste money on a taxi catch the bus from the airport, buy your ticket before getting on the bus, it only costs 1euro 30 instead of 25 for a taxi. Mind you, if it's late at night take the taxi, saves messing around.

The hotel is dated & the breakfast area is rather small. Very busy and tables are at a premium in the morning. Our room (333) was small & an odd shape, no two walls were the same size. Bath was tiny but the shower was good. All this said, for the price we paid we shouldn't moan. All said I'd stay here again for the value for money.

We stayed at this hotel for several days. We were greeted and checked in very well. The room was small enough but it was very clean with everything we need: clean towels, hygiene products, kettle, refrigerator, safe, even tea and water. Fully met our expectations and even a little better. Our room was cleaned VERY well and every day. Breakfast is excellent and quite varied. The hotel is located very conveniently, within walking distance from all the attractions of the old city and very close to train stations and shopping centers. It is very likely that if we come again, we will stay at the same hotel and recommend it to our friends.

It was a little cool in the room, but not enough to become a big problem. And a huge step in the bathroom, which took some time getting used to)

The staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly, which greatly contributed to the overall enjoyment of my stay. The experience exceeded my expectations and was exceptional, especially considering the reasonable price. The hotel's central location in the heart of the city was extremely convenient. What impressed me the most was the absence of any noise, allowing me to enjoy a peaceful night's sleep even with the window open. This is a rare find in such a central location. Additionally, I must commend you on the delicious breakfast you provided. It was of high quality and greatly enhanced my mornings. Location is perfect: near the main busstation, trams and buses stop right on the other side of a little park. Hotel was still very quiet. Bed was excellent, blanket nicely little heavier and the long pillow just what I needed.

Carpets all over: I am a little bit allergic to dust, the carpets dry the air and give dust. Our room was very small. It was not easy to get to the bed from the wall side, because there was not enough place foor feet. The big bed could be 10 cm smaller. Or the room would be best for one person in a single bed. Our small room had dark red heavy curtains and bed cover, doors and furnitures were of dark wood, all those made the small room look even smaller. This hotel is not for a person with bad legs because of many steps.

Firstly, I must commend the honesty and helpfulness of the staff at this hotel. When I forgot my phone, they went above and beyond by locating me and returning it promptly. This act truly showcased their integrity and commitment to excellent service. Secondly, I was thoroughly impressed with the breakfast selection during my stay. The meals were fresh, tasty, and offered a good variety to choose from. The quality of the breakfast further enhanced my overall experience at the hotel. Additionally, with a reception available 24/7 and multilingual staff always ready to assist, every interaction was pleasant and helpful. I can honestly say I have no complaints about my stay.

The location of the hotel is comfortable to reach the city centre (e.g. the Christmas Market:) or the shopping centre Galleria) or go by tram/trolley-bus to any other destination in the city. It is just in front of the Central bus station, across the road, behind the Wellton Riga Hotel & SPA. There is a lift, but still one needs to go upstairs (just some stairs) to get to the room whose number consists of double figures. The breakfast is plain, but filling and fresh (sausages, fried eggs, omelette, pancakes, two types of jam, honey, some types of salad, joghurt, cereal, tea, coffee). The receptionists are helpful and try to answer all the questions.

The photos do not give real representation of the room. For example, the twin room is much narrower than in the photo and both beds may stand just along the wall or, what makes matters worse, one next to the radiator and the second one next to it without any gap/space between them which means there is no bedside table nearby. As for the room facilities, it was written in the description: 'Tea/Coffee maker' and 'Electric kettle', but there was only a kettle. Besides, the staff should realise that it is necessary to turn on the radiator SOME HOURS BEFORE guests' coming, otherwise it is very cold in the rooms.

Breakfast was decent with choice of continental or cooked breakfast. Location was ideal. Staff were pleasant. My room was clean, warm and comfortable.

WiFi was poor. TV and it's reception was poor. There were quite a few other things that niggled me that could have been remedied with a little care and attention....only one pillow, curtains hanging off rail, no bedside light and although a kettle was supplied to make your own drinks, only sugar and a couple of tea bags were supplied.....no coffee or milk sachets.......but I'm just nit-picking, I've stayed in much more expensive hotels that didn't even have central heating!

Staff at the reception were nice. Room was spacious and everything in the bathroom worked great. Had a lovely wide bed for one. Had a non Window room which was perfect for me to have a totally dark room to sleep in. I loved the little “window” touch to the room as there was a window imitation which lit up from the light 💡 switch. 😁🤩 If you are a TV 📺 person, which I am not, then you will get an interesting experience. I got a good hit of nostalgia by just looking at the TV itself. Great location - just across from the bus station at the edge of the Old town and right next to the city public transportation. Super easy to get to the airport by city public transportation with the direct bus 🚌 and super affordable cost of few euros only. Ended up at the Christmas market in Old town - fabulous.

The location is to die for, in a few minutes from both the Old Town and the bus/train station. The staff were friendly and the room was superb indeed - the size plus a bath in the bathroom (perfect after wandering around at -14 degrees outside). It took some time for the room to heat up, but overall the blanket was very warm so we didn't freeze at night. It was also very quite in the room with no noise from the outside (only occasional pipe sounds from the bathroom but that wasn't a big deal).

We haven't noticed that the outer windows in the room were open upon arrival, so it was a little cold at first and took some time to warm up. But after that no issues.

We were upgraded to a better room which was really nice. Location was perfect, everything was a walking distance away. We enjoyed the old town atmosphere and aesthetics of the hotel.

We had a medical emergency and unfortunately the staff wasnt able to help us accordingly and sent us to the wrong place which kind of made the situation worse. Also there was no warm water for about 36h during our stay. Apparantly the hotel was aware of this yearly water maintenance situation but it wasnt communicated at all which was disappointing.
