It is a brand new hotel - purpose built for upcoming expansion - so the quality was really great. Whilst it is 3-star hotel, I'd say it is on a level of many 4-star ones when it comes to room quality / size. Breakfast included and had a good selection of hot foods / drinks etc. Rooms were really quiet so we slept like babies.

It is 1 bus stop or 5 min taxi ride from the airport but currently (it being winter) it was not reachable by foot thou can be seen from airport.

We could not get it to the hotel from airport without taxi. Hotel and airport are close, but there are roadworks and it is very tedious to reach the hotel by foot. Luckily taxi is only 2.50€.

The stuff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is brand new and therefore in perfect condition. I slept in a king size bed which was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in!!! The flat screen TV was humongous, about 2m wide! The shower is very big and shampoo, conditioner and body lotions are provided. Breakfast was good. It is served from 6 to 10am. One can make ones own waffles. The coffee is excellent. If your flight is very early, you can ask for a breakfast bag at the reception and chose to take whatever you wish for such as croissants, petite pain au chocolat and a banana from the buffet. You can also help yourself for an early coffee, hot chocolat or juice before setting off between 4 and 6am. Bus 22 stops right in front of the hotel. You just have to cross the road. The 1st bus leaves at 5:14 in the morning. I actually walked to the airport. This takes about 10-15min. Unfortunately no pavement, so not a thing to do with children or lots of luggage. I highly suggest The HAMPTONS by HILTON hotel at Riga airport. I wished I would have stayed longer...

clean, new , excellent rooms ( we had the same room on both our stays 3 days apart), close to airport, free parking

the bar closed early at 10.30. why? I’ve never known a airport hotel charge for a shuttle to the terminal. it’s 1.1km and €9 for outside, €20 for meet and greet. so we walked because the car rentals were closed - at midnight - but ran out of path whilst walking along the busy 4 lane airport road. felt dangerous also on second visit the ANPR didn’t work to enter the car park, there is no button to contact reception so we had to find a phone number and call ( causing a small queue!)

The hotel has a parking with sufficient amount of places. Close to the airport and a bus station. AC in the room. Breakfast was OK, which is very good but could have wider choise, especially if you prefer healthy options.

The staff wasn’t really nice and not willing to speak the same language as the client, instead switched to Latvian without asking if that’s ok. The staff at breakfast never had any happy faces neither. Not much space at breakfast, too narrow if more people come at the same time. The room was ok but not practical at all to store some stuff, it is more suitable for one night stay. The same for bathroom, not convenient in terms of hanging towels or storing tooth brushes etc., there was nothing really available for that.

The location is perfect for early-flight catchers as the bus stop is right in front of the building. The hotel was new, trendy, and sparkling clean.The layout of my room was lovely, with a long resting sofa, a large TV, a comfy bed, and assorted coffee and tea etc.. They provide breakfast from 5ish AM and the lounge is spacious as well. You can take a walk around the building circled by a tarmac-paved trail, also nearby woods trails. If you decide to go to the city center, bus #22 will take you there within 30min. Finally, it's good value for money.

Witty and playful staff -- remarkable ! "Oh, one last thing -- where are the lifts, please ? " , I ask, about to leave the front desk for my room. I'm sorry, sir -- George (spelt in Latvian), according to his name-tag ; the clerk who checked us in at the Riga Airport Hampton Inn. the lifts are broken -- My heart sank as, in imagination, my body climbed. Six half-flights of stairs to get to our floor, Room 307, at least ; and what if there's a mezzanine ? I began to draft the scathing on-line review. -- we have only elevators. But I think that you'll find them in excellent operating order. Well played, George, you cheeky monkey. Very well played indeed.

Uhm . . . a greater variety of baked goods at breakfast ?

We stayed as we needed a convenient last stop while travelling from the UK to Estonia. We were really surprised at the quality of the hotel and the level of service provided. It really is exceptional. We were limited as to which hotels we could book as we had our dog with us and fortunately the Hilton was pet friendly. As a bonus there was parking (low cost 7 Euros) and a complimentary breakfast. The breakfast was really good, lots of choice and variety and good coffee too. The room was large and very clean with a big shower, TV, fridge and even a seating area. We couldn't have done better for an overnight stay on such a long trip, and left the hotel after breakfast feeling rested and ready for the final leg. Big thanks to the staff who were great.

There really wasn't anything at all to complain about! If anything it would have been nice for there not to be a charge for bringing our dog but I understand that there may be additional cleaning after some pets have stayed in the rooms.

Brand new hotel, very clean and great breakfast

Service- either We talk about check in/out , restaurant or bar the service is extremly extremly slow, althought people are nice. The whole personal is very young, which is a great thing However, They are not trained at All or They act like their not!!!! Very slow in service or observing you are looking/asking for their attention. Once you get them They have no clue what ia in the meniu or available or possible, not aware if Lunch serving time and much more. They request training asap

Location very handy for the airport . Didn’t have the breakfast as we had to leave early .

Being woken up at 11:30 pm to pay for a meal we had had and forgotten to pay for at the time . Could have put it on the room for us to pay at checkout surely . Not told about the takeaway breakfast that they offer either
