Great value for money accommodation not too far from the City centre (€5 in a bolt taxi or €1 on the tram). The room was spotlessly clean and the cleaning ladies were brilliant cleaning the bathroom and providing fresh towels etc every day. The communal kitchen and washing machine was a real bonus for an extended stay. We would definitely go back if we visit Riga again. The location gives a real taste of Latvian life not the normal tourist view of a City.

The initial greeting from the Receptionist was not warm or welcoming but over the course of our stay it became much more friendly. On arrival at the hotel it appears to be in a very run down area and we had concerns about our car security in the car park but don't let that put you off the locals are honest decent people and we felt very safe throughout our stay.

I was staying in a happy hotel with my mom. The ladies who work at the reception were exceptionally amazing !!! So helpful, welcoming and friendly. They suggested a very nice lunch just for 3 euros. And the portion was huge and delicious. The hotel is in the quiet area, because if you stay in an old town it might be very loud. You can sleep well and relax. The bus stop is literally 1 min walk from the hotel. You can take 3 buses and will be in the center in 10-15 mins. The room was very clean and cozy I highly recommend this place !

Nothing. Everything was wonderful

The location was perfect for us, as we were taking an early flight from Riga’s airport. They had family rooms that could accommodate the five of us. Parking was really easy, at the back of the hotel. Beds were comfortable. The lady at the reception was very kind. Super good value!!

Reception was unattended at our check-in time so we had to wait around 20 minutes. Would have been great if the common room/s had more facilities, like a kitchenette and electric kettle. (They did have a fridge and microwave which was great.)

The room was decent size. There are kithen and washing machines in the hotel. Two shops nearby. Good transport to Riga center. Friendly staff and cheap price. For low price we had a good hotel that is better than more expensive ones.

Usage of Russian language, going against Latvian law of the language of country. Too old screepy bed. Everything else was definitely ok for it's price

Helpful staff, room looked like in the pictures, nice basic kitchen for guests.

The bed was a bit too short for a tall (184cm) person which made sleeping a little uncomfortable.

This was the second time for us in Happy Hotel. We love the quiet and comfortable area. Public transportation to the town town is perfect! The rooms are clean and comfy. The staff very friendly. We will use the facilities again in the future!

Cheap, clean place to stay. There are few showers, toilets, kitchen and place to eat. No one disturbs you, great place to stay with family.

Parking is a bit messy.

The rooms are cleaned daily, towels present in the room, there is a well equipped kitchen and a small food store nearby the hotel.
