Located southwest of Bukit Bintang's central area, this property is 10 minutes from popular spots like Jalan Alor Food Street, Art Street, Times Square, etc. There is a convenience store and a supermarket with an ATM next to the hotel building, and grabbing a taxi with the Grab app is never an issue. The bed was super comfortable and the pop interiors of this hotel are impressive. The hotel is super clean and the breakfast spread was just right. We arrived at 0200AM in the morning and did not have any problems thanks to the 24-hour reception. The checkout is also very fast and smooth. You cannot enter the hotel without your room key card after 2400, which is a good security measure.

CitizenM is essentially an upmarket pod hotel with a really great shared space around the reception area. The rooms are tiny but well equipped and fully automated.

Size of rooms.

Located right in the center of Bukit Bintang. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms have a good size. The interior is more in the business-standard style. There is the possibility to control lightning, A/C, TV, blinds remotely via an App on your mobile phone - which we found super nice. The hotel has a co-working concept which makes it ideal for digital nomads or people that still need to work a few hours.

Until our departure nobody told us, that there is a partnership with the hotel next door in order to use their pool. That would have been nice to know before :) Breakfast did not wow us. We only had it one time but it was pretty (boring) western standard.

I think I got food poisoning from the hotel’s breakfast on the morning of Nov 16. Felt nauseated starting mid-morning that whole day and had diarrhea well into the second day.

My second stay at a citizenM hotel. Would definitely recommend. Comfortable room, friendly staff, good location close to everything.

Lovely welcome by friendly staff. The lobby is more like a lounge and the whole atmosphere is one of relaxed efficiency. Great decor compliments the meeting/breakout spaces and the coffee is excellent! Breakfast covers all tastes and is not complicated. Dinner menu is super simple. CitizenM in Bukit Bintang is ideally located for all the main attractions and only 6 mins walk to the nearest monorail station to take you straight in to KL central. The room is ultra modern, quiet and environmental control is done through the connected iPad. The bed is huge! Thoroughly recommended. Thank you Duncan and your brilliant team!

everything are clean. citizenM app is really good to operate everything in the room. Location is nice. 10 minutes walk to central of Bukit Bintang. There is a 7 eleven(convenience store) next to the hotel, and a bar inside hotel(this time I didn't use). So there are no inconvenience.

Room entrance Door was very hard, so it wasreally difficult to open. Setting chromecast was easy, but I didn't know what I should do next and how to use on my app(like youtube). so it took some time to make full use of it. After checking in, I received 7~8 mails from hotel. some of them are same contents, repeated mail. There are two shampoo at bathroom(not shampoo & conditioner). (**This is not a Bad point about hotel**) There is a KK mart(another convenience store... or super market?) next 7 eleven, but staff of KK don't work propally and don't give the right amount of change, so it's better not to use it.

Mary and her colleagues were excellent with food suggestions and getting about the area.

There was not a kettle for the room.

Everything was superb. From the funky decor to the Ranchilio coffee machine. Everything operated from an ipad including the ability to change the colour of the lighting in the room. The buffet breakfast was exceptional. Lots of space in the communal areas made it feel relaxing and chill. Plenty of stations to work on your computer at. Staff were there to help, but didn't hover over you. The room was equipped with everything we needed. The bed was super large and comfortable. The towels were thick and fluffy. The location was central so nothing was very far away. Would definitely recommend that you stay here.

Great location, very good shower, friendly vibe, super fast check in and check out. Great attention to details and decorations. Theres a 7eleven and a money exchange counter right next to the hotel which is extremely convenient.

The AC temperature can only go up to 28 max. It was really cold in our room and we couldnt do anything about it. Not a big issue but might be helpful for others: When you check in, you will have the option to choose a room with "city" or "green" view. We chose the green view thinking it would be a park or garden view, but turned out our room was looking at only a wall, with some small plants by the window. I think it would be better to have some real photos of the rooms at that step, which will be helpful for first time KL visitors :)
