Our stay was excellent. Located near the airport and centrally in Malta´s island, the room was very spacious, with 2 double beds, a table with chairs, desk, TV, WiFi. Everything is new and clean. Breakfast (to be ordered in the evening before filling a sheet) was delivered to the room and in addition the kitchen area (just in front of the room) there are more products available.

Away from the city noise in a quiet little village of Kirkop lies a little gem of a place called the suites. We had room 6 which was spacious, clean and modern, with all the amenities that we needed. It is not a big hotel with big hotel facilities ie., pool, room service, etc, so if that is what you want, go elsewhere, but if you want personalised, friendly and an extremely efficient host that looks after their guests, this is your place. A car would be handy, but we coped with the bus service quite well and it was so good to get away from the crowds after exploring the cities and sights of malta. This places suited us 100%!!! Brilliant staff!!! No request was too much bother.

Arrival with scanner is a bit daunting, but once you work it out, no problems!

This is not far from the airport which is great if you arrive late or need a place to stay before an early morning flight. The price is very competitive. The room was very clean and had a kettle, instant coffee, a small refridgerator and bottled water. The bathroom was nice and bright. The room seemed to be recently updated. The sitting area in the room is nice especially if you have a bit of time to use it. The breakfast had a nice selection of fruits, eggs, pastries, yogurts, etc.

The QR system for entry seems to have some glitches. We were unable to use it to enter the property. The same was true for another group that had arrived at the same time. However I did call the owner and she promptly let us in to both the property and our rooms even at 1:15 in the morning. If arriving late you may have a hard time finding parking. Our room was two double beds and a sofa bed. However I believe it is a stretch to call it a sofa bed. It is a sofa chair and is very uncomfortable and you lose your pillow in the gap.

Since we had a late night flight, we wanted to stay very close to airport for the night. Room was very spacious with comfortable bed. Microwave in the room was an added advantage. There were drinking water bottle in the room. Lady at breakfast was amazing and cooked nice omelette. We tried local speciality during the breakfast - pea pastizzi and it was delicious. Room checkin through QR code was straight forward. Just ensure that your screen brightness is high for the scanning.

Soundproofing was a problem. There were significant noise from the street early in the morning (around 7 AM) which woke all of us up. If you are a light sleeper then noise from the outside will be a problem.

Accommodation was exactly as described and beds incredibly comfortable. Close and handy for the airport. Clean and well maintained.

Breakfast was a bit of a hit or miss, self service with very limited offering and we arrived just as another party had eaten everything on offer! Would suggest that breakfast is removed from the offer, as the accommodation itself was worthy of praise but the poor breakfast not so much. We did print off the QR Code key entry, in case we had a technical issue with smart phone, unfortunately the reader didn't recognise our paper version, so thankfully still had power after a long journey on our phone.

We booked a family room, the room was very spacious and well kept. The room also had two balconies which were lovely in the morning and night time. The bathroom was clean and tidy. The property had a rooftop which was accessible to guest, this was nice in the morning and was quiet so we had it to ourselves when we were there. The area was nice and quiet. We particularly liked that the room was completely blacked out and so had very good sleep. Staff were also extremely accommodating and friendly.

The location of the property was far from the city but it was close to the airport- something that we wanted.

There were nothing to not like. . The property was clean . The staff were excellent they go above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable.

Fantastic accomodation with comfortable large beds, mini kitchen and separated shower bath tube toilet room. Extra sofa-bed was ready for 2 more people. Help yourself breakfast buffet at the entrance of the guest house. Hal Kirkop is a quiet residential area, 20' by foot from the airport but the way is not nice under the airport tunnel, just a few minutes by car. Bus lines are available but airport construction modifies the bus stop locations.

Main door and room door work with the mobile internet, make sure your phone is always in charge to access your place. Except the cleaning person, no one is present in the house. Hal Kirkop does not have restaurant, just a few snack and food stores. Major food store (Lidl) is located at 15' by foot.

We stayed at the penthouse, room 6. It was like a little spa experience. A beautiful clean room with a nice bathroom with a bathtub and separate shower. The terrace had a jacuzzi with a view of a lit up church in the evening. The room has windows on both sides, which creates a nice atmosphere. We stayed there because we could walk to the airport very early. We informed the host to leave us breakfast in the fridge and they did. Lidl is a short walk away. The room has a kitchenette with plates, cups etc and a microwave. It was quiet for us.

The tv had hardly any good channels to watch and a looong list of non-functioning ones. There is nothing to do close by so a nice choice on the tv would be nice or Netflix or a way to cast from a phone. I sent a message and did not get a reply..

I recommend this hotel ! It's conveniently located close to the airport and the self check-in process was incredibly convenient. But the real standout feature is the amazing private terrace on the roof with a hot tub that overlooks an old church and a breathtaking view of the blue sky. The fresh breakfast served every morning was also a highlight. For the price, this place is an absolute steal and hands down the best hotel experience I've ever had.
