we stayed there 2 nights ( which is a bit too much for bacalar fyi). it is a 20 mn drive from bacalar town but the location middle in the jungle make it worth it. the hotel is very well built and sustainable. it has a very chill vibe and you feel connected with nature. the pool is nice but in the shadow of the trees. breakfast was unbelievably delicious ( everything on the menu), the location is great. rooms have two small double beds so not much space but it does the job. it is really worth it!

there s not enough space for everyone at the breakfast table, we had to take our breakfast on ourbalcony. which was okay in the end but it s not cool to wake up and see that you cannot sit at the table. the three nights we were there, guest made a lot of noises late in the evening/night (music, talking loud) and no one from the staff did or say something. one night guests put the music on all night and talked very loud. in my opinion this is the responsability of the staff to make sure that all guest can sleep at night. i had to ask them to be quiet and that was not a nice thing to do. so i hope the staff sees this and will improve that part of the stay

Leti, the lady at reception was very kind. We had to leave very early in the morning, and she made the exception to prepare breakfast for us before the established time so we could leave on time. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, close to the lagoon, and they offer bikes, kayaks and paddle boards for free. Unfortunately, we could not enjoy the Yoga practice because we had to leave very early in the morning. We got recommended a 4-hour tour to Bacalar Lagoon that was the highlight of the stay. Middle of the jungle, close to a gorgeous lake, environmentally friendly, great food, exceptionally friendly staff. We broke down with the car and they did literally everything in their power and beyond to help, treated us like friends. I'd love to go back. I had to work as well, wifi was good and very comfortable to accommodate this. Loved the wooden window shutters too.

I can't think of anything I didn't like. Maybe the terrace roof by the room leaking the water so the table and bench was not dry for work but the restaurant was perfect.

Staff were really friendly and helpful. The yoga class in the morning was amazing, really you should try it! I also book a massage which was wonderful, done in my room. The food was also pretty good as well as the breakfast. You have access to the lake and have the possibility to get a kayak which is also included in your stay. Overall a great experience and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

perfect stay thank you to Fabio the best chief cook I never met in my life he is really kind the meal was very tasty he helped us to chose what we want eat very good advices atmosphere with dance and a lot of laughs thank you again Fabio for this wonderful moment I recommend you to taste his meals and cocktails you will not regret it ! I recommend to do massages with Rebecca she have fairy fingers don’t miss that !!!! the morning there are yoga on the rooftop with beautiful view on the jungle perfect to catch the sunrise. The breakfast is very good 5 stars ! This hotel is a jewel into the jungle rooms are confortable and the the pool is nice. I enjoyed the fire place into the garden very lovely hotel good surprise :)

no double bed

The place was in a lovely setting which was very peaceful. Loved the fires lit at night which made it very relaxing. Room was good size and staff very friendly.

The road to get to it was in an appalling condition which was not good to get a car down. They also said they had a club you could drive to but we had to turn round as the road was so potted we were worried about the rental car. It also took about 40 minutes to drive to as the road was so bad. That was a pity as getting to the lake is not easy as it is surrounded by privately owned sections. That spoilt the feel of the lake as we never really got to see it. Same applied at bacalar. The hotel is not actually on the lake which I assumed it was from the pictures.

the scenery is absolutely exceptional. Incredible view when you wake up in the morning, the sound of the birds waking you up, it was just magical. The staff is also incredibly nice and helpful. Also really nice breakfast cooked to order every morning. They also offer massage that you can enjoy privately on your beautiful terrasse, with the jungle and pool view. the most incredible and relaxing stay we’ve had in Mexico. I would recommend this place over many other luxury we stayed in Tulum, Isla mujeres and playa del Carmen. Would 1000% recommend. Thank you again to the brilliant team🤍🤍🤍

The hotel is nothing like I expected but in a good way. it’s slap bang in the middle of the jungle, 20 minds drive away from Bacalar, great hide-out away from tourists. Amazing and free yoga classes, gorgeous jungle cabins. lovely swimming pool. Authentic Mexican cooked breakfast

quality of dinner is a bit average

Nice accommodation in the middle of the jungle. Relaxed ambience and very attentive staff. The pool and garden are as beautiful in reality as they are in the pictures. If the sky is clear, the stars are amazing from the roof terrace.

As it is remote, the town of Bacalar is a 20 minute drive away

Very nice ambience in the middle of the forest/jungle and very quiet and chill. The staff are super nice and helpful and the food is decent. The yoga in the morning was top!

The wifi hardly works in the rooms so as long as you dont need to be online, its fine. Also the access to the hotel via the road is really tricky for normal cars. it is possible to get down to the parking space but you have to drive very slowly and be careful (especially as we had a rented car).
