We loved our stay at La Zebra! The rooms are chic and comfortable, the food is great (and probably the best coffee bar in Tulum right in the hotel!). The staff is absolutely incredible, so attentive and helpful, while not too intrusive when trying to relax on the beach. Special thanks to Francisco for the amazing first impression during check in, helping us get settled, and to Isaias who helped arrange a last minute scuba and snorkel tour in a nearby cenote. We were met with such kindness from the entire staff. I cannot recommend this place more and would love to come back soon!

Our first night the A/C was not working well, but the next day Carlos quickly resolved the issue. The pool upstairs was pretty disappointing (not sure if it was even open) and the pool bar didn’t appear to be staffed at all. Finally, during our stay the seaweed was pretty bad, which made it difficult to enjoy the beach. Although this is not within the control of the hotel, they did their best in removing as much of it as they could. Just mentioning it here for future customers to be aware of seaweed season in this part of Mexico.

I don't understand why this hotel destroys its unique atmosphere by organizing loud salsa or Beatles concerts that do not fit in with the surroundings! I think in a huge hotel in Cancun it would fit perfectly but it's Tulum!! Come on!!! here you expect relaxation, something spiritual or even chill house ( the same one you played on one day). that's the only bad thing about this hotel

La Zebra had a wonderfully exclusive high-end feel. The rooms were beautifully appointed with carefully considered furnishings and design queues. Enormous comfortable beds and views of the sea. Picture curtains gently blowing in the breeze as the sound of the waves rolls you into a deep sleep.

Beware of the mosquitos! Although the hotel do their very best to manage the situation by lighting coils, using scented vapour sprays in the communal areas and providing individual repellents in all the rooms. Some of the rooms with private pools were quite overlooked unfortunately, due to people walking right past to get to their rooms.

The hotel staff, location, quality of food, decor, and peaceful beach vibe are all exceptional! The beach staff and especially Marco bring strong skills to make sure you enjoy the day and are never without a cold drink or delicious food while chilling directly in front of beautiful blue water and sugar sand beach. The room air conditioner works very well and the housekeeping staff are discrete yet keep attention to detail to ensure you are comfortable in your room. The front desk staff are very capable and are ready to help with any question or issue that might arrive. Private hotel parking is available and is located directly across the street. Great place for a Tulum vacation for couples or families without the loud obnoxious party scene!

Excellent experience during our stay at Le Zebra in Tulum. Staff is super friendly and efficient, from check in to room service and concierge. They know how to take good care of guest. The check in process was quick, we loved our sea facing room with hot tub. Room service is great, everything is delivered in almost a few minutes. The location is perfect, a quieter part of town yet close to everything. The beach is gorgeous, they keep it clean regularly. We enjoyed the beach club the most, we spent most of our time in one of the many sun beds on the beach, enjoying amazing cocktails and food from the restaurant. The restaurant is one of the best in the area, we loved the breakfast there. Overall a great experience with clean and well maintained rooms. However the highlight for the property is the beach club and the restaurant. Cannot wait to go back! Highly recommend Le Zebra when in Tulum!

Staff at the beach restaurant were amazing! They knew us by name and were so friendly without being pushy/trying to get you to order more. And the food itself was incredible and exactly what we needed. I was working a few days and the WiFi held up perfectly on our Zoom calls.

Tulum is just really expensive, so it did feel like a lot of money, but compared to similar priced hotels in the area, I think this is the best!

I definitely like that it’s waterfront and that the staff is super friendly if you get the opportunity I hope that Juan Carlos is there to chat with you, greet you and tell you a little bit about Tulum he was definitely a big help making sure that everything was smooth with our check in our room and giving us a couple pointers.

I don’t think this is anything against the property, I definitely went to Tulum to unwind and relax and mingle in the city but since I am not big on going out a TV in the room would’ve been nice, I didn’t think to ask about that before booking our reservation however it was not a huge deal just on the days that it rained it would have been nice to have TV in the room. So definitely take a laptop or Ipad to stream.

Located at the quieter side of the beach the hotel was really beautiful and the rooms were so nice inside. No bugs at all and the AC worked fabulous and cold! The best rooms are close to the beach and our special Birthday was made fun from the hotel!

The bathroom at the pool upstairs didn’t have a rug or something to not make it slippery as you walk out. it was wet and I fell and I think I broke my toe and planted it down on both of my elbows and back. it was scary and I told the hotel 2 times that they must put something there to prevent someone else who might really be injured.

Great location- Tulum is a bit crazy and can be a full of parties/ hens and stags but this place was well placed and much quieter. We did have however a full on spring break going on at the outdoor bar when we arrived but they went after the weekend was over! The rooms are really lovey and nicely designed. I thought this place was really lovely and the team working outside on the beach were amazing really really great service so thank you!

Theres no real pool to speak of so if you're after a real pool holiday then this may be the place but the beachfront is the best pool ever! It was a little noisy at times and we had a small child run into our room on the first night which was a little hilarious

The hotel was fine. But still expensive I think. Besides the property, Tulum is not a good place for having a sun,sand,sea holiday place. Because, the ocean is extremely dirty. You can not swim because of the plant dirt in the ocean. Also, the ocean is extremely wavy. Tulum has a very powerful winds. Whole town smells something and it is not good I think. Every restaurant every shop places are expensive. The most important one is taxi. Be careful about taxi driver. They are fraud. Firstly they say if you want to go there you need to pay 200 usd then if you say no I pay 50 dolar then they say alright 50 is okay. Is it a joke? Moreover, the government do not care Tulum. The roads are extremely bad. The whole town is so loud. You should go different place for resting. Lets back to the our facility. The hotel was very nice. Staff always smiling and do what you want rapidly.
