Luv Tulum

Magical Place is like Tulum 15 years ago, the staff is amazing , the room is cozy and has a feeling of home , beach is fantastic, food is a reasonable price and delicious. I highly recommend this place for whom ever wants to go to the original Tulum

My partner and I were looking for a smaller, affordable, no-frills (but romantic) hotel with a private beach, and not only was LUV Tulum perfect for this, but it exceeded all of our expectations. The entire staff was friendly and accommodating, and was always happy to give us recommendations for places to go, things to do, etc. The food and drinks were delicious, and the continental breakfast, while light, was great. LUV is a small place, which makes the whole experience feel more catered and intimate. The beach and facilities were kept extremely clean and the hotel made a point of cleaning the excess seaweed (sargasso) each morning. We went on one of the hotel's private excursions to the Coba ruins and the jungle and it was SO fun. Could not recommend this place enough. We will be back for sure!

Each "room/suite" is a private cabin with a thatched roof, which isn't an issue in and of itself however, it does little to keep out bugs and mice. But that also just comes with being in the jungle- just something to keep in mind! There's also no AC, but all the doors are screened so you can sleep with them open and enjoy the ocean breeze.

Luv is a great place, the location is perfect especially if you want a quiet place but still not far from bars and restaurants. The room was great, and the owners and stuff were extremely welcoming and helpful. I had a wonderful weekend. Highly recommended

Just to make it not seem a fake review and after thinking long and hard ... maybe breakfast could be a bit more diverse or abundant but in reality I enjoyed everything and I will go back and highly recommend the place.

The location was excellent- right on the beach and walking distance from restaurants and bars on the strip, but still very quiet at night. The food and drinks were incredible- some of the best we had in Tulum and a lot more reasonably priced as well. The room was stunning- great architecture, design and furniture. The staff was very warm, welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious, bed was comfortable.

If not in front of a fan, it got hot and humid as there is no AC in the room. The water pressure in the shower and bathroom sink is low and water is ocean/salt water.

Incredible private beach, privileged position close to everything, but still peaceful. The staff are helpful and friendly and create a fun & relaxed atmosphere. Our room was the closest to the sea in all Tulum.

Wish we could have stayed longer !

Nice, friendly staff in hotel and bar Kindly let us to check-out later, as we have late evening transatlantic flight, appreciated. Beach was cleaned early in the morning, earlier than neighbors did

Everything was perfect, from the initial greeting by Carlos, the warm welcome at the bar, the beautifully furnished room, lazily swinging in the hammock, and walking on the beach.

This place is absolutely beautiful , the staff is amazing . I’ve stayed in many hotels at tulum beach but this hotel really feels like the original tulum !
