Perfect if you want to stay far from the parties and beach clubs, it's calmer, simpler with good decoration and nice staff. Getting the ocean view room was definitely important for the entire experience. But if you want more of a fancy experience, music, service, or you can spend the day at the beach club on the side, that is part of the accommodations structure, or move to another location. It was low season, so perfect for what we want.

I booked a room at the cheapest hotel in Tulum during the high season, which was Tuup. it was part of a very nice boutique hotel Pantamera though and I was allowed to the facilities of the Pantamera such as the beach, the restaurant, the complimentary yoga and the pool and … the wonderful pool party at Christmas Eve (though parties take place in the afternoon, so rather: Christmas Eve Afternoon). Service was great, every night the maid came by to check if I had enough towels and water. A lot of eye for detail. The restaurant served wonderful food. I once had the mushroom ceviche and the little avocado cubes were cut symmetrically, I ate them all.

Tuup was amazing. It’s connected to the Panamera Hotel so you get all the perks of using their facilities and service for paying a little less for decent rooms. We extended our stay and paid a little extra to stay on the beach front bungalow and it was so worth it! The service is impeccable and they even have valet. Food is delicious and the hotel, decoration and beach is so picturesque. Honestly didn’t want to leave! Also, a 15 min walk into the heart of Tulum beach nightlife so very walkable if you want to party but far enough away that it’s not too loud at night.

The location was amazing. Its is the best part of South Beach and hands down the best value for money hotel in that area. The property is run by Panorama Hotel and you can use all their facilties including bars, restaurant, pool and beach club. The staff are super friendly. Great WiFi through the property and the most beautiful beach.

This place was amazing! the staff were so friendly and helpful, and able to answer questions, food was FANTASTIC! the room was stunning and we were able to get to most things with a scooter or walking! it was divine! I wish we had stayed longer, as Playa Del Carmen doesn’t feel like it compares at all to beautiful Tulum or Tuup!

We were welcomed by the reception of the hotel across the street (Hotel Panamera). We could use the facilities of Panamera, including the private beach, pool en rooftop bar, which was great! Room itself was clean and simple.

the room had thin walls so you can hear a lot of noises from outside (we got woken up by birds in the morning)

Bungalows right on the beach, beautiful view, clean and peaceful the staff introduced themselves including the security at night which was great for two women traveling:)

Key and lock to get into bungalow was a little tricky but we still felt safe.

the location was perfect & i really appreciated waking up to the sunrise over the waves every morning

the stairs up to the 2nd floor were a bit dodgy, older guests & people with disabilities would not be able to make it up

My room was excellent value for the price. My view was like a treehouse it was modern, while being comfortable and rustic
