We had a great stay at the hotel, staff are very friendly and helpful, across the team. The hotel is beautifully designed, great garden/terrace area, very nice rooms with a very comfortable bed. Both the room and the shared areas were perfectly clean. We enjoyed the breakfast too, freshly prepared and served restaurant-style. It’s worth mentioning they also offer extra breakfast dishes at very honest prices, all under 100 pesos (£5). There aren’t any touristic sites in the neighbourhood but the property isn’t far from very traditional, humble cafes, food venues and grocery stores; we used a laundrette nearby. A pleasant walk North are cenote Zací, the local food market and a crafts market.

The location may not feel ideal, the nearby buildings being a bit run-down. However, we found it perfectly safe, and got to enjoy the 10/15 minutes walk to the main square or the ADO station. A warning, Google may be sending you to the wrong address, opposite end of the street; better follow directions directly from Booking.

The staff was very helpful to find guided tours and recommendations. We also woke up too early (because of Jetlag) and the staff made us breakfast super early (we got a lot to eat at breakfast, we were always asked if we liked more or not). The room was clean, AC worked and we could refill our water at the water fountain in kitchen as much as we wanted! Definitely would recommend staying there!

Sometimes, after it rained, you could smell the canalisation through the shower drain a bit. But that is something we experienced in other hotels in the area as well, so that is not this place's fault.

A brand new hotel just opened few months ago . Located nearby several cenotes, 10 minutes walk from valladolid city center and just 50 minutes (by car) from Chitzen itza . Breakfast is being served at your table. you have different options (egs, yoghurt, # bread, pancakes,…) The staff are eager to assist you with all your questions regarding the hotel, city center,… Some suggestions: Leave your bathroom door closed to avoid excessive noises such as the rooster in the backyard 😀. And if you like your space book/upgrade to a bigger room as the kingsize bed is to die for. Thank you for having us.

All the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room was perfectly clean. They have a kitchen in the hotel that makes things very easy when we come with food. There's always a cooler which also offers hot water for tea or coffee, at anytime. We felt that the hotel atmosphere was an extension of the cozy, simple and easy of the town itself. We actually regret not staying here longer, we came just to be closer to Chichen Itza but we learnt how pleasant the city was and that there were several cenotes on top of the legitimate regional food and the great perfomances in the main square. The manager was very friendly and informative about Mayan tradition. We felt such an awesome atmosphere that we're already making plans to come back and stay longer. We also felt that what we had was a great value for the money we paid.

For me, the pillow could be more comfy and the bed bigger.

Very new stylish hotel. Each room has an access from the outside (motel-like). Breakfast is served in an open area outside the rooms. Parking inside the closed complex. the surrounding area seems run down and not safe, but we also walked in the evening into the city from there (about 15min walk) all without problems. Rooms themselves are very functionally furnished but everything necessary available. We had 2 rooms direct side-by-side as wished.

Ground-floor rooms close to the breakfast area have the kitchen and visitor noise from 6 am and also partly very bright lamps outside directly in front of the room windows.

Great stay at Kookay – walking distances to the city park (10 minutes) and close by a Oxxo and the local market. Hosts were wonderful, gave local reccomendations and served a nice and simple breakfast with good service. The shared kitchen was a great plus for us as well. Nice, clean and really quiet as completely isolated of the streets. Really safe as well.

We recieved a room just next to the breakfast area – and with only one window right by the bed facing the kitchen we found ourselves rolling down the curtains for leaving us with no natural light and not the best of lighting options in the room it could feel a little dark and moody. But in general no big deal as the overall stay was really pleasant. Would definitely go again.

Very nice, welcoming, spacious and clean accomodation in Valladolid. The personnel is helpful and the breakfast included in the room price is simply perfect and rich. Nice shared spaces and private parking available for cars and scooters. Great place, smooth check-in and check out (with luggages safely stored for early check in and late departure)

Hotel Kookay Valladolid is a perfect choice and a cozy accomodation, with a good price for level offered. The stay was on a Saturday night, but unfortunately the surrounding area was incredibly noisy (loud music and people singing/screaming) till late night, preventing us from sleeping no earlier than 2 am. Without this inconvenience the evaluation would have been 10/10.

Breakfast was included with cereal, yoghurt and fruit, as well as juice, coffee, and a variety of breads with butter and jam. There was also an option to purchase warm breakfast for a good price like scrambled eggs and other items. The property has parking and looks brand new, staff was well trained and kind.

There could be more outlets in the room, there were very few. Our room also faced the courtyard where breakfast takes place so it was a bit loud when people were outside.

The staff were very friendly, the room was comfortable (slightly on the small side) and very clean. The location was great, within walking distance of the town's sights and restaurants. It was easy to get to by car and free parking was in a private courtyard near our room. The breakfast was delicious - fruit, yoghurt and granola with a basket of bread and pastries. There was also freshly made juice and tea and coffee. It was the perfect start to the day! Thank you for our stay!

The hotel is small but quaint. It is well located. We liked the breakfast and area where it was served. The staff were accommodating. They have a parking area which is nice but it's a tight parking area.

We liked everything about this small hotel we would stay there again. My sister stayed in a separate room and they didn't have extra blankets. It was very hot so the AC was running all night and it was cold. I'm sure if we would have asked we would have received blankets.
