The traditional beautiful facility with a “feel at home vibe” but also with all the comforts and amenities of a 5star hotel. Located in the center of the city. Amazing breakfast! Great dinner and margaritas! Super staff from Santiago to Gabriel to the Chef! Special mention also to the guide the hotel management collaborate with, Juanito, which was one of the best guide I have ever had (he was a true expert and he basically was involved in all of the excavations/restoration of the area). It made a true pleasure visiting Ek Balam and Chichen Itza and made me get passionate about the Maya history! Lastly, the private Cenote experience they offer is something that cannot be described! I have travelled all over the globe and this is definitely in my top three experience. The facility, the cenote, the private set-up, the food was just top notch! An hidden gem in the Yucatán peninsula! If you are traveling around Valladolid do not even think and just book this hotel and the cenote experience. You won’t regret.

Historic home converted into a hotel. Comfortable with lots of charm. There are many areas to relax in hammocks and chairs inside and out, and the pool is surrounded by lush landscaping with tropical fruit trees. The breakfast was very good, they had an evening cocktail bar and a restaurant, and 24/7 access to drinks for after hours. Great staff, very welcoming…they really worked to make you feel at home.

The hotel is comprised of two buildings a half block apart in the main city, and google maps had some trouble taking us to the right end of the one way street we needed to get there.

Good location in Valladolid, walking distance from the city centre, on a small square. Beautifully renovated building, with nice garden and pool, quiet and relaxing. Extremely friendly staff, good breakfast. Parking available, as well as good restaurant in separate building. Perfect stay

The rooms and bathrooms are nicely designed and decorated, however our room did not have any window/view to the outside and the fixed windows did not allow the air to circulate (we do not like air I). Apart from this small point, everything was perfect.

The hotel has two buildings and we experienced both as our son stayed in one and we in the other, which is just across a little square. Both are beautiful with charming and helpful staff and lovely gardens and pools. We had a spacious, sunny room with a terrace overlooking the pool and a shower that was open to a little courtyard. There is a friendly dog and the gardens are very pretty and well maintained. The hotel has a safe parking area next door. Breakfast was delicious and we also enjoyed cocktails in the garden. This was the best hotel we visited in Mexico!

This place was phenomenal. I can't say enough wonderful things about the beautiful setting, the grounds, the staff; our lovely room with a comfortable bed (and a hammock!) and amazing bathroom. I would come back to Valladolid to stay here again! They provide parking as well. The pool area was lovely, and you could make yourself an espresso or tea. There were various semi-outdoor areas to sit and read, enjoy the property....everyone who worked there was absolutely wonderful! They helped organize a knowledgeable guide for the ruins as well. My 11 yr old son and I LOVED our stay. Breakfast our last day and coffee were delicious!

It wasn't clear that breakfast was included, we could have had more than the yogurt/fruit/toast that was sitting out.

This hotel is a gem in a pleasant neighbour only a few blocks from el centro. The bathroom had a lovely shower with one wall cut out into a grotto and everything was beautifully appointed in a neo- classical style with ample communal galleries and seating. The grounds were graced with several mature fruit trees and the old stone church next door was a special bonus.

Nothing. This hotel was so relaxing and confortable we lost our touristy ambitions and spent a lot of our fiur days there.

This was our favourtite place on our Mexico trip. Family run and very comfortable. Huge rooms, gorgeous bathrooms with the best showers, pretty courtyard, wonderfully deep cool terraces to lounge about on. One of the few places that offered a proper breakfast as part of the package. A short walk from the centre of town. I had a medical emergency overnight and the staff went above and beyond to get me a nurse, x-ray and then ultrasound within hours. We just loved this place.

We arrived in Valladolid by car rental from Tulum on a Sunday morning and dropped our bags at the hotel before venturing off to Chichen Itza. Our host Gabriel welcomed us warmly and gave us tips on what to see in town later as well as advice on the cenote to swim in following the temples (hint: not the tour bus-laden one). We enjoyed walking the town that evening and visiting an Italian restaurant the hotel recommended. Breakfast the next day was delightful. Room was huge! They have a photo book that tells the story of the purchase and renovations of the property by its owners. Highly recommend.

You hear some street noise from the courtyard because there's because it's on a corner next to a square, but that dies down at night. It's a minor issue.

The hotel room was beautiful and the had the most comfortable beds on our entire trip. The setting was incredible, and we had an amazing time. The staff was attentive, and everything was clean. Every detail was considered, even everything smelled amazing. We will definitely come back.

The only thing I was confused by was the pictures online seemed like the hotel was a castle of some sort. But that was a picture of something close by. On the outside, doesn't seem like much, but once you open the doors, all is magical.

The staff were so friendly and always smiling. They also helped us with restaurant recommendations, organising airport transfers and so on. The hotel itself is beautiful but unstated you really feel like you're living authentically in Mexico. Beds are comfy, showers were hot and the atmosphere was tranquil.

Swimming pool was a little dirty. Lots of oil on the surface and plenty of leaves floating. But staff did their best to keep on top of it.
