The location was very good; all attractions and tram services were close to the hotel and easy to reach Dam square. The room was perfect.

My reservation was from 9-15 May and was fully paid for at the hotel. Due to force majeure, I left on 14 May, and the hotel promised to credit my account for one night. Until now no payment has been received.

Dan square is only 800 meters. rooms are of nice size despite being in city centre. breakfast was good with eggs to order which is not common at most spreads

Staff was pleasant and exceptionally helpful, with very quick response via WhatsApp and would provide anything you ask for. Location was perfect, in front of tram stop but at the same time noise free. The tram travels straight towards dam square and centraal station. By walk, it was 10 minutes to dam square, and 20 minutes to centraal station. The walk was very nice with canal on right side and interesting shops on other. De pijp about 20 minutes walk to other side. AH supermarket 2 to 3 minutes walk. Room was very nice, spacious for the price and location, AC was good considering we were there in heatwave. Lift is working now, we noted it was not working from recent reviews but is fixed now.

Great location near to the LGBT area. I loved being able to walk to nearby restaurants and have a coffee. Was given a glass of bubbles on arrival - such a nice touch! Bedroom in super good condition, felt very upmarket and would stay again in a heartbeat.

The lift broke down while I stayed there, so had to climb 4 flights every day. The staff were very apologetic, and this stuff happens. One of my socks disappeared from my room, and when I contacted the hotel via their WhatsApp line they never came back to me (it's just a sock... but it was a pride sock and still costs £10 to replace).

A lovely hotel in the center of Amsterdam, within walking distance of everything. The front desk workers were incredible, so nice and welcoming. The rooms are comfortable and good-sized, would definitely come back here if I visit Amsterdam again.

The only thing that wasn't perfect was the cleaning .we stayed for 5 nights and the cleaning was very basic, coffee cups were not replaced and the sheets were not changed, a towel was left on the floor... I'm sure the front desk would have taken care of it if we asked (when housekeeping didn't leave us milk and coffee and toilet paper one day, they took care of it immediately).

Our room layout was questionable and dark - the space between the closet and bathroom door made it hard to manuever around, and the room didn't have a lot of artificial light. The lack of a door/raised area for the shower design meant that the bathroom would be very wet/slippery after showers. The automatic light in the bathroom was annoying - we'd rather have a manual switch. Otherwise everything was perfect and our stay was smooth!

only thing I would say is the water. we should get the tap water reality indicated more easily. when we travel we are thirsty and need to keep hydrated . please distribute extra bottle of water or indicate that the tap water from bathroom is clean and drinkable. what we end up doing to start to feed ourself with enough water

It has exceeded our expectations with the services. My husband and I were quite shocked that we were even brought up to our room because other hotels will just give you the key cards and direct you where to go, so that was a plus. They even recommended places where you can go in Amsterdam and things that you can do. The bed was so comfortable to sleep on. The location was perfect, can easily walk to the tourist spots, and had nearby restaurants and grocery shops. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. We also had a slight glitch with the refund on the security deposit but the team has handled the issue promptly, professionally, and hassle-free.

At some point, the lift was broken - we took the stairs going up to the 4th floor. My husband and I were fine with it and it did not really bother us but we just feel bad for the older people who were also checked in the hotel as the lift was broken for 2 days. It was a good thing that it was already working when we checked out because we have quite heavy pieces of luggage.
