location was good for us. staff welcoming. two couples, so the double ensuite was great. we couldnt get the wifi - but as it was only one night its wasnt an issue. any longer and we would of asked for help. (luv the jetplanes at reception). wish we had enough time to dine at the restaurant - the menu looks mouthwatering. I love the artwork and the "moodiness" vibe of the Hotel.
we got a ticket to park at Wilsons, but when we returned from dinner - after 10pm, they were closed. We parked on street, which was fine. Nothing to do with your Hotel, but if you've paid $35 for 24hr pass, we should be able to enter anytime in that timeframe.

I was upgraded from a studio to a one bedroom when I arrived, which was appreciated! The room was very small and just perfect for a city stay. The shower was large, the water pressure average but hot. The decor was very dark all over, looks quite classy in the daylight but a bit depressing at night. A dim night light would be great. Blackout curtains were awesome for sleeping in and the bed was firm. Everything was clean and new. Multiple power points make charging every device easy. No problems with WiFi and worked and gamed without lag.
A light over the eating area would be helpful, as the main lights are too dim to reach there adequately. The microwave should be placed down lower for safety reasons. A kitchen cupboard door hits the front door handle and the bedroom cupboard door hits the lights. Annoying, but not restrictive! A spare blanket would not have gone amiss and there's no landline to call down to reception. The smart TV was slow and not worth setting up streaming accounts as it requires a Google log in to update.

This hotel is situated on the queens Road which is a main road into the center of Auckland. It's about a 20 minute walk to the docks from here. It's downhill. Of course it's up hill on the way back. There are a few restaurants nearby to cater for all budgets. The restaurant hotel has a great buffet style breakfast. I didn't try the evening menu. The gym is compact and well equipped and opens at 6am. There is a bar with an indoor and outdoor area. There is a meeting room. There is a separate indoor lounge with fire effect heating... Nice touch. The room I was allocated was compact and equipped with sink cutlery, microwave oven fridge and freezer. The rooms are very warm and compact. There is no AC. If you find the room warm you can ask reception for a fan. The decoration is dark. It feels nice. The ceilings are exposed and industrial in nature. The rooms are well sound insulated. The shower room is clean and modern and compact. Very good hot water and water pressure. Reception appears to be manned 24Hrs. They are very nice. I would recommend this hotel, especially if you don't mind a little walk to the centre of things. I would stay here again.

Lovely hotel! Beautifully presented - exquisite decoration and amazing common areas. Added bonus is an onsite high quality restaurant.
I was here for business and chose the room as it had cooking facilities. However, there were no pots and pans or cooking utensils - the room needs these plus sharp knife can opener, etc. They were able to provide some on request, but these were too big for the burners, thus making cooking difficult.

The location was perfect for an overnight stay after a gig a Back Bar and Whammy. Gabriel was warm and welcoming, combining professionalism and charisma seamlessly, total angel. The dark, moody interior is a winner, pockets of bespoke areas to suit all types of gatherings. The restaurant was full of an eclectic mix of patrons. The rooms felt spacious and generous beds in our twin accommodation had 2 separate ensuite bedrooms and a living area between. Loved it!
A design floor I seem to come across in new hotels is where the bathroom door that opens out closes and the tiles in the bathroom finish. I find it odd when the tiles don't end at the door from inside the bathroom, leaving an edge of carpet inside the doorway when the door is closed. Small finishes like that make a hotel feel less considered and less luxe to me. Which is a shame when other design features are so excellent.

Overall the hotel was ok for a short stay. The rooms are very well fitted out but very small and compact - no room for cat swinging if you are so inclined. For example the double bed is pushed into an alcove so can only be accessed from one side. No problem for a singleton but pity the poor couple who has to decide who sleeps against the wall and has to climb out over their partner if they have to use the facilities during the night.
I was under the impression that parking was included but instead it is in a commercial parking building 50 metres down a side road. Cost was $35.00 per 24 hrs Flat Rate. I also object to paying surcharges every time I used PayWave or a Credit Card. Breakfast was also listed as a Flat $30.00 on listing, but in reality was A La Carte at various prices plus extra for juice coffee tea etc.

If you’re not one of the visitors who will “bounce” through Auckland heading for another New Zealand destination, this hotel is well-suited to a discovery tour of Auckland. A pretty easy walk to the Harbor (where all ferry tours arrive and depart and where the brunt of the tourism focuses), down the “miracle mile” of Queen Street, this hotel’s location is adjacent to the rich culinary (and nightlife) experience of Karangahape Road (“K Rd” to the natives). The diversity and quality of food experience on this street is unparalleled in Auckland, especially when you extend just a bit into the chic Ponsonby district. There’s also a wonderful walk to Auckland’s high point - Mt Eden - giving you a scenic view over this lovely city and harbor. Tip: book a ferry-ride wine tour to nearby Waiheke Island with its stunning art park, lovely beaches and tasting rooms. While there, and if you can figure out the logistics, visit Waiheke Distilling for a tasting an easily the best waterfront view on the island. The facility itself is boutique in scale and feels comfortable and modern. The venue offers a dark esthetic (is this a trend?) but the spaces (including the rooms) are tasteful, well-organized and nicely crafted. The restaurant gets a recommendation, for breakfast certainly, with a nice offering and well-priced. Overall, I can easily recommend this hotel for a short stay in Auckland focused on food and culture.
For our needs, the location was well-suited. If your main activities will be in the core harbor area of Auckland, you might find a harbor side location preferable. There is a long hill down to the harbor from here and it's quite a walk back. Still, keep in mind that the harbor is crowded and loud.

Close to The Powerstation venue for the concert I attended. The restaurant was outstanding! Amazing food and cocktails. Very friendly staff. I loved having a coffee machine in my room.
It's problematic having that fire alarm button next to the bathroom door in the entranceway. When we first walked into the room, my sister very nearly pressed the fire alarm, thinking it was the light switch! In fact, somebody actually did accidentally press the fire alarm button the next day and the building had to be evacuated. Perhaps you could install perspex covers over the alarm buttons that you have to lift to press the alarm? These covers could be clearly marked as the fire alarm in large letters.

This is a new hotel and it was AMAZING! I haven’t stayed somewhere like that for a long time. Especially when im in Auckland. As soon as we arrived the staff (a young girl at the front counter) was so lovely and so helpful. They have a spa, restaurant and a bar plus a lot of other facilities (library chill space etc). The outside area is STUNNING, my partner and I went down to the bar for a couple of drinks and again- staff were amazing and so so friendly! A beautiful gin sour 😊 The room - which we were so lucky to be upgraded was such a perfect size and had TWO seperate, really generous sized wardrobes with drawers as well. I have booked again for this weekend for another 2 nights! Can’t wait to go back again. Thanks for an amazing stay.
There’s nothing I didn’t like. Probably the only pickle was the tv in our room wouldn’t connect to the wifi in the hotel so we couldn’t use the tv. But that’s something minimal for us as we could just use our phones

We stayed in a little lux room, it was small and cozy! The bed was comfortable, the shower was amazing, the staff were super helpful.
The only thing that was unfortunate was that they didn’t have any parking, however this was clearly advertised and the hotel have a deal with Wilson Parking across the road which was affordable and conveniently located. Would absolutely stay here again.
