Everything was amazing from the porters to the receptionist but the club lounge service was exceptional especially the lady who was at the eggs and pancakes station she was outstanding!! The new fitness centre gym is state of the art amazing! We loved seeing a range of employee’s. Age, gender ethnicity and inclusion is not and issue for y’all CONGRATULATIONS!!!

There was a musty smell on the level of the spa. When you come out of the lifts that area for at least 40 metres going towards the gym and swimming pool.

Cannot rate this hotel enough! We had such a beautiful stay here I’m already planning our next stay. From when we turned up to when we left, the staff were so attentive and the attention to detail everywhere was amazing. The staff always opened and closed our car doors for us and greeted us each day and asked about how our day was going. They loaded and unloaded our bags for us. The hotel smells beautiful when you first walk in and check in was really quick and easy. The room was beautiful and clean and the bed was so comfy. We were able to order pillows from the pillow menu for free too which other hotels charge for. We ordered room service and even the toasted sandwich was SO good and the prices weren’t over-inflated. Plus they delivered the food with a vase of fresh flowers. 8 restaurant was great and again the staff were super lovely. We also got a drink at the chandelier lounge and the staff were wonderful and brought us three rounds of free snacks. Love love love this hotel!

My only remark would be that the ceilings are weirdly low in some places. My partner is 6’5 and was unable to use the rain shower head as it was too low and his head was about an inch from the ceiling while showering.

Great size room, friendly helpful staff at check in, excellent location in the CBD and great spa facilities and reception areas. Good breakfast and extremely helpful concierge who could not do enough to help us, they were amazing. A truly 5 star experience and will be visiting the hotel again soon. If you are looking for a great place to stay in Auckland then the Cordis offers everything you could possibly need. I am looking forward to visiting again at Easter.

Just the charging process, with setting aside on my credit card the whole amount of the bill plus any add ons so holding as pending, then actually charging at checkout again, so temporarily like a double charge on my card. I’d rather pay up front than have what feels like a double charge as releasing the pending back to my card takes ages. I know this is common practice but it is inconvenient and hotels should better explain and give clients the opportunity to pay up front and not have their credit cards locked up in this way, if you have a long stay this doubling up amounts to a serious amount of money.

The way it was presented the artwork was lovely nice and new spacious room in the pinnacle Tower also the pool area is always fun and it was nice that they had an adult only time in the morning. Also the staff were very good.

The only little complaint was that there was a spillage of what looked like coffee by the fridge on the carpet and it wasn’t rectified while we were there and a Matt was just placed over it but it really needs to be cleaned properly. Hopefully they will do it before the next guest arrives. oh, and the steam room was out of order.

The hotel is gorgeous and the spa is incredible. Our room was also very lovely and spacious. The bed was super comfy and we loved using the rooftop pool and hot tub. It was my husbands birthday and they came in and gave us a cake and on arrival there was balloons on the bed. The staff were also very friendly and stored our bags until we could check in as we arrived early. We had access to the spa facilities etc...

I did ask for a room with a view of the sky tower but we didnt get that. The sauna and steam rooms are in the changing areas, so if you are there with your partner of a different gender, then you can't use them together. If the weather is bad, there is no seating area in or around the pool that isnt outside. There is a small cafe however.

The view from our room was amazing. Room was nice and clean! Very modern. We really enjoyed the club access. Kids enjoyed the swimming pool. I enjoyed the spa, sauna and steam room. We have returned to repeat this staycation because of these facilities and optional activities for the children.

Would have loved more kids options in the club room but the food was outstanding with what was served. 👌 Beds were too flimsy and since I was sharing with my 11 year old, we were sort of dipping into the middle or waking each other up whenever tossing or turning. Pillows were not firm enough for me but I think it's one of those things, that is not bad but just different people, different preferences.

Our plane arrived late, but we had great service in the Super Shuttle to the hotel. We were in bed by midnight in a spacious, clean room, and the bed was extremely comfortable. I'd like to have that mattress at home. The Cordis has two choices for breakfast buffets, and both have a variety of choices, The room had space for an easy chair, extra tables, a desk, large television, counter and closet. The only drawback for some travelers with leg problems is that it was a step into the tub/shower, not a walk-in. We were very happy that on our first night on this first trip to New Zealand, we could stay in a place like the Cordis. The staff were all personable and helpful.

We have traveled to more than two dozen countries around the world, and toilets are lower than we septuagenarians like, so this was true at the Cordis, too.

Definitely one of the best hotels we ever stayed in. Brilliant location, great staff, lovey ambience, awesome facilities, gorgeous breakfast, I can literally go on and on about this place. The reception staff made the check in and check out so smooth. Throughout our stay, the staff reached out to us asking us if there was anything they could do more. The gym and the fitness centre were excellent. The morning breakfast was one of the best I ever had. Truly an awesome stay and we will surely be back.

The gym was excellent, very good for a hotel. There were windows that opened near the treadmills. Normally I find in hotels that the gyms are too hot and there's no way to cool down. The treadmills are very good. My husband enjoyed the pool. The beds were so comfortable. After staying at air bnbs it was so nice to finally have a good sleep!!! The kids were easily accommodated in an adjoining room, with a rollaway bed already set up (every other place we've been, we've had to ask for this even though it was booked in advance). We enjoyed the buffet breakfast, good price and lots of options, we enjoyed everything.

The backing of the seating in the dining room are stained and look dated. Wouldn't be too hard to refresh them but it feels like maybe they are waiting to overhaul the entire space rather than patch up just the seating. Americans in reception complaining about everything!! A few hills to walk into town, but there's good shopping not too far away.
