The breakfast was beautiful,10pts who made the brekky,especially the scrambled eggs.We all enjoyed it.

More than adequately comfortable room, I was surprised how I didn’t really hear any street noise except one emergency vehicle. Staff were helpful even at odd hours. Shower pressure was great and always hot. I was surprised but happy to find a microwave in my room. Wi-fi was great occasionally a little slow but nothing major. I would stay here again.

There was a stain on the mattress protector I only discovered near the end of my stay. There was a gap at the bottom of my internal door that let both light in and noises from outside in the hall.

The room was spacious and comfortable, the facilities were immaculately clean and the bed was very comfortable. The location was central to all the places I wanted to go. The staff were very friendly and helpful particularly the young lady who looked after the dining room at breakfast time. She remembered me and my special dietary needs and ordered my gluten free toast and cereal as soon as I arrived at the dining room. I enjoyed my stay there very much and extended it to stay a 4th night which was no trouble to arrange.

We liked the fact that one could have some privacy with the two rooms between the Washroom. Having a kitchen, with utensils. Having a laundry area as well. I must say the bed sizes. The space was very accommodating. I was the one who booked for three (3) and the others extended their satisfaction with the room. Being on the 1st floor was good too. Overall we were comfortable.

We did not like the fact that the restuarant was closed on the weekend. I think on Sunday.

I loved the location - for me, it was the next door to where I needed to go. Easy to find. The place was very clean, with great bedsheets, towels and amenities. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Great blackout curtains and not much noise due to great insulation from the main street's traffic. It was everything I needed for a good night's stay. Staff were super friendly and went out of their way to assist me. That's what really makes a difference for me and sets the tone for my stay. And most importantly, I really loved booking this room at a special price, last minute. For that kind of money, I got a lot more than I expected. So, it was a bonus in every aspect!

I booked a Suite. The rooms were nice looking and quite though they were close to the main road. I particularly liked the sitting room and the open kitchen. Kitchen wares were adequate and everything looked warm and tidy.

The thermostat did not functioned properly I guess. I stayed there five nights. The first day seemed a bit cold inside the room and I tried to adjust the temperature but the device didn't response. Finally I opted to give up.

Good location close to the centre of Auckland, only 15 mins walk from Skytower and 25 mins from Viaduct Harbour. Comfortable bed and a spacious room.

It was odd that the room contained a fully fitted kitchen with hob, oven, microwave and dishwasher but the were no pans, baking trays or sharp knives with which to prepare food. Maybe they would have been provided if we had wanted to cook, we didn’t ask.

Kitchen amenities, private parking, separate bedrooms, lots of towels provided, no single-packaged toiletries in bathroom - enviro friendly.

The staff we were greeted by wasn't very welcoming. I didn't have my I.d - didn't state I needed it. Asked if I could change the name to my husband's as he had I.d , she said no. So I went to search for I.d. Just for me to say, "Oh , well, we're going to have to go because I can't find my I.d. Are you sure we can't use his?" Then she got my to write his name on a piece of paper, and we checked in. This could have been done from the beginning. Was a little unsettling for first impressions, but the rest of the stay was wonderful.

Bed was super comfy and big. Our view was pleasant and the location was great. Shower pressure was amazing and I liked the size of our room it was perfect for us. Very clean and I loved the smell of the room, hall way and lift. The only dumb thing was we had no control over the air conditioner. It was very hot in our room and we had no window. I woke up twice during the night to have a cold sower so I cold sleep.

No air conditioner. We could not control it at all. No window to open to keep room cool.

Helpful staff when we checked in (seven of us had our plans disrupted by the floods and the hotel staff were very helpful in getting rooms ready at short notice and keeping us all together). Handy kitchenette, surprisingly quiet location, short walk to the cbd and heaps of great places to eat nearby.

The hotel is an older building with a rather quirky design (some elements are quite impractical - like a weird frosted glass window between a bedroom and the bathroom!!) and some furnishings are quite dated and a bit grubby- but that said, the place was really really clean, our beds were super comfy and our bathroom was relatively new. I’d be quite happy to stay here again!
