This place is my 'go to' when I am in this area, the hosts go out of their way to make sure you are comfy and okay. have stayed about 5 times and a few times I have shown up on my motorcycle, the owner always asks if I would like to put the bike in their own garage for the night, place is quiet and tidy. There is lots of choices for food a minute walk either way down the road. The beds are really comfy and the rooms are always very tidy and in order. The price is great and booking was always easy and without incident. There is no other place i would consider staying at when in this area.

Quiet back unit on the main highway so easy to find and get around. Very welcoming staff. An older motel but well maintained. Large studio with plenty of room to sit.

Shower pressure and mixer left something to be desired. At the north end of the town so a bit of a walk to get to eating spots. OK for us but not if you have mobility issues. On the state highway so ask for a quiet room.

Living in a rural area I'm used to the dark so the light outside each unit at night was not my favourite A shower door rather than a curtain would be preferable but the curtain worked just fine.

Arrival was quick and easy and the man at the desk was very courteous and friendly. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Was very quiet too. Location was very close to shops, cafe etc.

I think there should be extractor fans in the shower area and kitchen also so that the new paint job is not ruined. Also maybe no.8 carpark could be out in front of unit 8 instead of no. 9 carpark.

Able to book in earlier than expected. Cleanliness - smelt & felt lovely & fresh, parking right outside unit was excellent. Room 15 was spacious and very quiet away from road.

We don’t like shower rose stuck to wall. Prefer shower hose. Soap dispensers were low on soap & didn’t pump out soap.

It was clean, Sky tv, we arrived late in pouring rain and were made welcome, microwave, kettle, crockery, good wifi and most of all a wonderful bath with piping off water. Handy for restaurants etc in the town.

It’s not the Ritz of course being an everyday motel in an agricultural town so it’s basic accommodation but it was exactly what we needed on a wet rainy night.

Brilliant location! Host was very friendly and welcoming. Had a good nights rest as beds were comfy. The place was clean and spotless. Kitchen was well equipped and utensils were provided. Great shower pressure clean bathroom with amentities.. We will definitely stay again when passing through Dannevirke in future.

No breakfast had. Location very good for us as we were involved in an event based at The Destination.

The television didn’t work, no signal. Told to switch it off and then back on. This worked in the first instance then not again for our stay.

Everything was great from the friendly hotel staff, clean and spacious rooms, quite surroundings. Would highly recommend this place! We did not plan on staying here twice but when our trip was diverted and we were going to be staying in this area again we chose to stay here again!

i was really impressed with the great maintenace up keep, tidiness and cleanliness. This motel always looked uninviting to me in the past. Would definitely book in again an recommend to others.

The price was a bit steep but I suppose that was because of booking the night before and all that was available.
