Central to what we needed, hotel was clean and nice.i read the reviews before booking g and looked at the negatives and thought if that happened to me could I deal with it. No issues with the hotel or stay. Parking was on site. There was a restaurant but didnt use it. Went to town for food.

Only thing I didn't like about the place was the vending machine. Which you will see from my photo. $2.50 for can of coke it got stuck 🤨 so thought ok get a sprite from higher up which will knock the coke down....$2.50 and boom sprite got stuck 😖 thought fork it get a can of lift and walk away with a $5 loss. Boom... ruddy lift got stuck $7.50 worth of drinks stuck at bottom of machine and the "gentle" taps didnt work 😡 hotel isnt responsible for vending machine so company made money outta me. S-hit happens I guess.

Location superb, pool great altho appeared cold although stated heated. Pool enclosure could have benefitted from being open in the warmer days instead of guests having to push it open themselves to breathe.

Unfortunately the smell from the smoke area at the bottom of our stairs (room 117) was a little overwhelming when you approached the stairs and got to the bottom of them. This was used mainly by staff members and even the smell lingered when they weren't there using the area due to cigarette butts left behind in a container. I would have thought if it were a smoke-free complex that designated smoking areas would have to be a certain distance from the accommodation, not below the rooms.

The "heated" pool was NOT heated - it was freezing. For being an enclosed pool, I would have thought it would be easy to be a heated pool, but NO. Very bad advertising on your part. It would certainly get more use if it were in fact heated to a decent temperature. Also the service at the restaurant was disappointing. It was obvious our waitress did not want to be there and her lack of customer service skills was terrible. Our meals arrived quickly, however our drinks did not = my husband had to got the bar and re-order them. Also our empty plates were not cleared from the table for sometime.

Location of motel, the room was exactly how the pictures were on Booking.com. Very roomy and warm with the heatpump. Liked that there is a restaurant on the ground floor with a very delicious menu. Also went for the buffet breakfast and that was pretty good too.

That our bathroom didnt have an extractor fan.

It was ok not much left when we arrived though.Staff in house keeping were great and very professional not sure of the name of the girl who helped us but she was very helpful and friendly. Please thank her for us.

The headboard of the bed was sticky so probably needs a wash the pillow case stuck to it and came away with brown marks on it. The duvet and pillow protectors were dirty you could see it at the open end also the cupboard had brown streaks running down the doors, we washed them down ourselves.

Stayed one night in a prime central Napier location. Beach across the road. We got a good deal for a standard room. Clean room. Large walk-in shower. Comfortable beds (a queen and a single) for three. The Quality Inn's Drift restaurant and bar is on picturesque Marine Parade with views of the ocean. Buffet breakfast choices were excellent. Room service was very good. Our room had everything for tea/ coffee making. Fridge with small ice-box. Good WIFI. Staff were very helpful. Everything one comes to expect when booking a place to stay at booking.com

Room was on the first floor up a short flight of steps. Vehicle parking under block of units, in open parking area of motel, and on street if needed. We parked vehicle overnight on street because all available parking on property was taken. No issues arose. Otherwise, all good.

The room was on the first floor, up one flight of stairs. It is an older motel, but the room was fairly clean (dishes were dirty, though) and the beds comfy. It was ok for a one night stay. A restaurant and bar are attached to the hotel which was convenient.

The bathroom has no heating possibility, so it was fairly cold in the morning. It is quite noisy when someone walks by your room or upstairs above you. You can also loudly hear any door being closed in other rooms. The dishes were quite dirty and we had to soap them up real good before being able to use them. The kitchen lamp dit not work. It was quite pricey for what it offered.

Location is great. Reception really accomodating and friendly. Clean rooms and serviced daily - rare today so this is great! Free and covered parking option. Pool available for families with children. We didn’t eat at the adjoining restaurant downstairs but that is a bonus if needed. Lick This ice cream shop across the road!

Toiler seat was crooked when we arrived. Second night it was almost off the pan. Iron was dirty and it took us a while to clean it before ironing our clothes.

The location was great. At the centre of the city and walking distance to the National Aquarium, the visitors centre (i-site), and the Marine parade. The Warehouse and Noel Leeming are located at the back of the property for your convenience. Parking available on-site but you need to save your spot early. The staff were very welcoming. Our room was located at the 2nd floor. It has a small balcony with good view of the shops nearby. The room has a kitchenette with cooking utensils. There is also a swimming pool.

Amazing location right in town , great access to the beach and skate park across the road as well. Warehouse and Noel Leeming are tight behind the hotel which was a bonus 😊 loved everything the Spa was by far the best thing ever. Would absolutely stay again and recommend to anyone else who needs quality accommodation 😊 amazing work Quality Inn.
