The property is ideally located on marine Parade. A 10m walk in either direction will get you to the main CBD or to the aquarium. There is a bus stop 5 minutes round the corner where you can access buses that will take you into Hastings and Ahuriri. I stayed in Room 3, it is well equipped with a large double bed, tea and coffee making facilities and mini fridge. Has a private bathroom next door and is separated from the other rooms in the property by a privacy curtain. Breakfast is a selection of cereals, toast, fruits, which can be eaten in the lovely sunroom that has views of the beach. Guido is a great host, very communicative and happy to help. My flight back to Auckland wasn't until the afternoon but he was happy for me to stay in the sunroom after checkout time while waiting for my shuttle pickup.

The host was incredibly friendly, very helpful. The room was clean and had a lot of little touches that made the stay so much more amazing. If we'd had time we would have extended our stay. The breakfast obviously had a lot of love put into it with homemade marmalade and honey. We also love filter coffee so that was a fantastic surprise. You sometimes find in B&Bs that you feel you're lacking a little privacy but not here. There was an incredible sun room for having breakfast in that was beautiful and looking out over the water. The room had plenty of space and great amenities. If I could rate it higher I would.

The property seemed a little quirky but in a good way. Wonderful and spacious rooms, lovely hoist (who very kindly carried our heavy cases to our room much to our gratitude). Right on the sea front and close to many restaurants - the location couldn't be better! Yet despite this we enjoyed total quiet at night ensuring a decent sleep. Parking nearby at no cost (the hoist told us best place to park and its very close by). Overall a decent hotel at a decent price.

The only let down - and I stress the word 'only' was the breakfast. It included coffee, cereal, fruit, toast/jam and yogurts but perhaps a little extra such as cheese and ham or an egg would have made a huge difference.

When planning our trip to NZ we spotted this place. Drawn by the wonderful decorative interior we booked it. Not because we wanted to go to Napier, but because we fell in love with Sea Breeze from the other side of the world. Our host was excellant. The property was excellent and well placed for the town itself, which incidently is amazingly Art Deco and worth the visit. Our room, the 'India' room was so so nice. The breakfast was lovely with fresh fruit, bread, a good selection of cereals and juice. And their own honey. Breakfast to be taken in what I would describe as a first floor veranda room overlooking the road. A lovely room in which I indulged in a late evening glass or two of wine whilst relaxing with my 'kindle' . This fine stablishment is so worth a visit.

Nothing at all apart from only having booked one night there.

Yhe B&B was cosy and had character. Especially loved the little kitchen area. The host was very friendly and helpful. The wifi/beds/TV all great. We were able to park across the road which was good. Loved how the beach was across the road. Breakfast was amazing for a continental breakfast.

To get to our ensure you had to go into the hallway so during the night had to have a quick check to make sure there was no one around to see me (didn't bring a dressing gown!) LOL. The shower was however yhe best I've probably ever had in my life!!!! I quite liked the brightly painted rooms but maybe they were a bit cluttered with wall hangings etc? Definitely not a problem but just an observation.

The host was very good and helpful. The whole house is amazing in it's layout and color schemes, bedrooms are a good size with everything you need. Bed was very comfortable and we were warm and cozy. Breakfast was really good and all top quality. Very good value for money.

No real issues and everything was good. Parking is out on the street but we had no problems. You need to go up a long set of stairs to get the the rooms which was no problem for us but if you had trouble with legs or knees you may find it more difficult. There is a handrail on the stairs. :)

Sea Breeze was excellent in every way. Our host was really warm and friendly and made sure we had all the information we needed before arrival. The accommodation was boutique quirky and newly-finished to a high standard - very impressive. Continental breakfast had plenty of quality choice and well-presented. Very central to the city centre and beach-front. Plenty of eateries nearby.

Parking on the street but that was OK.

The location was perfect and walkable for a short stay. The owner/staff was exceptionally attentive and the breakfast was perfect for us (not your eggs, bacon stuff) healthy and real coffee! The owner gave us his in front of the building parking as we had luggage and were exhausted from a 5 hour drive! So thoughtful! Cheers Guido!

The carpet was a little dated, but clean. Stairs can be an issue at times.

Cozy & intimate and very friendly. Guido was such a lovely guy who couldn’t do enough for us. We were caught in Cyclone Gabrielle, which hit Napier fair & square the night we arrived. Lost power, so Guido did everything to try & make our stay comfortable, hunting down torches,batteries, gas stove (for coffee) ice, bread & toilet rolls! We couldn’t depart as all bridges down so he insisted we stay another night -without payment (we left him the cash in our room on on departure). He was a saint!

The property was located in the centre of Napier overlooking the sea. On street parking was possible near the B & B. Guido, our host was really helpful, carried our (big) bags upstairs for us, and answered any questions that we had. The continental breakfast was adequate for our needs. We even had access to Netflix.
