The staff were fantastic and seemed a bit embarrassed that they couldn't meet our expectations and supply the room that we had booked online. They did give us complimentary breakfast and parking each day of our stay which was great. We did however have to share a bathroom, have no windows in the bedrooms and no balcony and view which we were expecting.

Unfortunately when we arrived we were informed that Peppers could not supply the room we had ordered and they had to downgrade us. We would have preferred to have been informed before we got to the hotel so that we could decide whether to continue to stay there or not. This was not an option!

This property was fantastic in every way. The customer service and facilities were fantastic and the location was absolutely perfect for easy access to everything that Queenstown has to offer. We will definitely stay here again!

There were renovations occurring at the property however they didn't impact our stay which was fantastic. The only thing that I can think of would be that the breakfast was a little expensive for a family of 4 which is why we didn't eat at The Galley during our stay.

Nice well-furnished 3-BR apartment with views of the lake and the Remarkables mountain range from our Balcony. Very close to downtown only 3 mins walk. They discounted our daily parking so effectively we just paid one day out of two days due to a miscommunication. Liked that Private Covered Parking was available for us Motorcyclists on tour (with charge)!

Cleanliness could be better. I know we just came out of Pandemic and have staff shortages, but one out of two of our 3-BR apartments looks like it hasn't been cleaned well (there was a musty smell upon entering) and there were thick layers of dust on a lot of surfaces (lamps in bed and bathrooms of the inner rooms), vents, washer, dryers. Maybe we were the first to use that apartment this 2023 season. The resulting dusty condition and dry air of Queenstown triggered a few allergic rhinitis among us, compared to our friends in the other unit.

Nice Hotel - nice apartment - friendly staff - good location

We paid a lot of money for a 2 bedroom 'lake view' room to be put on the bottom floor watching (and listening) to cars go by, trees and very minor glimpses of the lake, was so disappointed as it was a special family stay we had looked forward to. The female staff member tried hard to assist but was unable to as hotel was full. Was compensated by a bottle of wine and $ discount which I appreciated but they should NOT sell the bottom floor apartment as a 'lake view'.

Very noisy external extractor fan located on our external terrace ( according to front office staffer) , installed to counteract steam / moisture caused by no extractors were installed in ensuite during construction.Noise is apparent continuously. Large garbage piled up within undercover car park was not cleared at any time during our 4 night stay. Housekeeping issues, carpet not vacuumed; external terrace dirty (weeds); showers towels not supplier after one daily clean and room cleaning got missed on one day

Location was awesome. Studio rooms were great.

I realise that it was due to staff shortage but the rooms were not serviced and it was nearly impossible to get hold of housekeeping to get any additional supplies.

Great location, absolutely stunning view.

The spa hasn't been used/cleaned for awhile. When we switched on there was a lot of gunky pieces coming out of the massaging hoses, for the sake of hygiene we had to giving up using it.

Very spacious and comfortable 2 bed/2 bath apartment with large, open plan, kitchen, lounge and dining. Plenty of space to stretch out with two teenagers. Quality and stylish interior design. Large balcony with stunning view over the lake. We have just come back from skiing and booked another apartment accommodation for similar price, which is a big disappointment. Wish we had booked Peppers again.

No longer has gym facilities

Hello Peppers Beacon. I have not been able to get you out of my mind!! I celebrated my 60th birthday whilst there and when we walked into our beautiful room (910) with that spectacular view, it took our breath away. Not to mention the balloons & bubbly which was a very special touch for my birthday. I have raved to everyone who will listen about your facility. I promise we will be back and I will be requesting room 910 as we have made some wonderful memories. I don't know if people can purchase the apartments, but I sure do want to buy apartment 910. Thank you for providing this beautiful apartment with the best view in the world. Everything was absolutely perfect.

There was nothing that I didn't like. I/We loved everything about Peppers Beacon.
