The apartment is very spacious and with a gorgeous view of Lake Wakatipu, Walter Peak and Queenstown Gardens. It seems newly redecorated with nice carpets, clean painted walls and nice French windows. The heater works well and rooms are quiet. Furnitures are old dated but clean and cozy. Kitchen with full set of equipments is convenient and the guest laundry is in the garage, it costs NZ$4 for washing and another NZ$4 for drying. They offer hang-dry rack, too. Location’s good; supermarket, restaurants and shops are all in 5 to 10-minute walking distance. We stayed there for 6 nights, it’s joyful and truly relaxed. Definitely recommend it. They’re bloody full-booking, just do it as soon as possible.

None.

superb location for exploring Queenstown- we were able to walk easily to all of the nearby restaurants as well as to meet up with all of our tours and catch the TSS Earnslaw/ Walter Peak BBQ tour. Had a great view of the water and some people watching- Apartment itself was impeccable and very nicely furnished- Had elevator which was handy for baggage- Also had free parking (including outdoor spaces which we needed for our taller vehicle). Convenience store less than 5 min walk away-

Wasn't an issue for us due to cooler weather but notable that there was no A/C which seems to be more the norm in NZ in our experience.

We stayed in Apartment 4 - family of 3 in a 2 bedroom penthouse. All the apartments are different apparently. The location of this property is excellent. Just a stone's throw from the centre of town - 2-3 minute stroll. View was spectacular of the lake and mountains - clear view and no obstructions. Apartment 4 has been recently renovated. It was a spacious and comfortable apartment. Clean. Carpet in great condition, Kitchen well-appointed. Nice comfortable lounge and dining table/chairs. Beds were comfortable. Shower had great pressure. Staff were excellent and obliging. Very easy place to stay and no complaints. It's not cheap over the new year period, but nothing in Queenstown is. I recommend this property - apartment 4 anyway. Can't vouch for the other apartments.

The location was superb, overlooking the lake and in a good position to watch the various boats and other craft coming into the berths/moorings. Two minutes walk into the town made it all very easy. The apartment was well equipped and with an ensuite to the master bedroom and another bathroom for the second bedroom, again, it was all very comfortable. The self catering arrangements suited us. Washing and drying facilities were available in the basement if needed. Parking was a gated underground private car park. A couple of the pieces of furniture were getting a bit worn but that was no trouble to us. Definitely recommend the apartment to others and would use again if we were back.

All good, nothing we didn't like.

Imagine an Olympic Sprint Final that has just 8 FINALISTS, where only the BEST make it in, Now if you transfer that analogy to Queenstown NZ & imagine if Queenstown held an Olympic Style Final for Accommodation Venues, then THE WATERFRONT would be in THE FINAL. Not having stayed at all the Top Accommodation in Queenstown, I am not going as far as saying THE WATERFRONT would win the Gold or even get a medal BUT the Waterfront would definately be in the Accommodation Queenstown Final. The Location of The Waterfront is in strolling distance of ALL MAJOR ATTRACTIONS, Shopping & Restaurant/Bars. Simply arrive park the car & you don't need to use the car again, that is until you decide to leave. The views from your apartment are first class & the ol'Steamer TSS Earnshaw even runs right past your front door many times a day. Whilst other tourists are paying out $'s to sit in Bars & Restaurants to get a glimpse of Queenstown's Waterfront you have the best views of the Lake & all it's activities from your loungeroom & dinning room table.

Parking may be a wee bit of a hassle til you Check-In but that applies to all of Queenstown. Once in & parked, just leave the car @ The Waterfront & walk everywhere. Building Renovations were taking place & whilst there were no problems with Tradesmen or noise, the outside scaffolding did obstruct some viewing but it was not enough of an issue to get aggrieved over.

The location is simply fantastic, right by the water and in walking distance to just about anything in town. Views of lake and mountains are fantastic although we were on the ground floor so mainly saw the street, but I suspect the floors above us have spectacular views. Apartment was well equipped and very spacious. Beds comfy, TV had Netflix. Car park (in garage or upfront) was included too, which was very handy. It was freezing cold in QT when we visited but the rooms were all toasty warm. We had a lovely time with the family.

Like most places in QT, the apartment (bathrooms in particular) are a bit dated. But still very functional so not an issue really. Cleanliness could be improved a bit - found long back hair from previous guests in bed and bathroom, and a bit of dusting here and there would be good too. Lastly these apartments are not serviced which is fine in general but having a vacuum cleaner or similar available for guests to clean their own room would be helpful (especially when travelling with two little kids).

The manager, Bakesh(sorry if spelling incorrect) was outstanding! He happily helped us with every enquiry even offering to park the car in the confined space of the underground carpark - what a credit to the company! Very happy with The Waterfront from accommodating our requests for a high up apartment (no.8) to cleanliness and position. Very handy as central to the heart of Queenstown, no big hills to climb. Highly recommended - thank you for a fabulous stay, wont forget those views!

Second bedroom quite small but didnt impact on our stay at all.

Location and views were amazing. Very close to town so enables you to walk everywhere. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable, a must to me when travelling. The unit had all that you needed. A little on the expensive side but due to location and view you could say it was worth it.

Ice trays, i have noticed that no where supplies an ice tray in the freezer so that you can have a nice cold beverage after a long day of travels. Just because its cool or winter doesn't mean people don't appreciate these things. Also just one of our nights there the downstairs apartment were fighting and making a hell of a racket till all hrs. Its a lot of money to pay to have to put up with this and the fact we got little sleep. Obviously out of the managers control but i have more peaceful nights in a backpackers for a third of the price which is where this group should of stayed.

The view was amazing and relaxing each morning to see the lake and action as it occurred. The main bedroom was spacious, however the 2nd room was a little small but Ok. The 2 x bathrooms were great as required. The accommodation was central to Queenstown and within walk distance of every restaurant and cafe. Transport is required to travel to some of the adventure activities, however this can be organised by the many agencies or just book a cab.

The information regarding at that time of the year was not known and acknowledged any where, that the Gondola and skyline activities were not working due to being maintained. We would have chosen another timeframe. As we had waited 3 years since Covid to use our tickets ! Other than those small things we managed to work in with a Adventure agency and did some Zipline and Boat cruise, however missed the fly in and cruise at Milford Sounds as it was cancelled twice due to the weather !
