Good location, the staffs are very nice. They lend the hair dryer for free. If you want to wash your clothes, there are laundry room and also the backyard to hang and dry clothes if you want. The room is bright.
I could smell cigarette in my room. And this room is next to the balcony where people smoke and party late. I wish there were a rule about the noise such as no noise after 10pm or something. But in general people are nice and the vibe is pretty good here. I still recommend.

The location is terrific -- just a block from the central part of town. Staff were friendly and helpful, and let us store some of our luggage while we were on a 3-day hike. Helpful to have a laundry room, as well as onsite parking for our rental car.
The facilities are pretty basic -- about what you'd expect for a backpacker's hostel. The shower was being fixed on our floor so we had to leave the building to shower elsewhere, but overall it's a good place to stay.

Close to Queenstown city centre (5-10 min walk) The beds were comfortable (a bit saggy), did the job though! There's free parking in the back however tight space and someone who worked there blocked our way out in the morning but the reception were quick to find the person to move the blocking car and passerbys also helped The place is unique with many framed pictures to entertain you. A medical centre is across the road and provides 3 hr free parking if you're desperate
The bathroom sinks were tiny but did the job :) The walls had marks on them, making them look a bit run down.

This hostel is in a really amazing location, so close to everything in Queenstown - the lakefront, supermarket, great breakfast places. We could park our car the whole time when we went off to do the Routeburn track and there was no fuss. The dorm rooms were spacious and comfy beds but no heaps of plug sockets for the room. It's quite noisy on one side of the hostel as well, I was glad to have my earplugs! The private room we booked was amazing! Great comfortable bed, we even got an ensuite which was an unexpected bonus! Really good shower/wet room. Nice touch of having a TV, DVDs and a stack of DVDS on the shelf in the room. Great facilities for washing and a line out the back to hang things up!
The wifi was pretty poor in both the dorm room and our private room but worked well in the communal areas. The kitchens were often a little messy as well, pots piled up etc.

Great location, staff were very helpful helping us out with using their phone etc. and directions. As for the hostel, you get what you pay for, don't expect the Hilton. We booked a twin and unexpectantly got bunk beds which was fun 😎.
Car park hit and a miss, don't bring your prized possession car here. Facilities are old, used and not particularly hygienic, but what do you expect for less that £100 for 2 nights for 2 in central Queenstown?

Very affordable and close to the city. Does the job.
Could be a bit more diligent with changing the bed sheets after guests leave as not all guests will remember to hand in their used linens. It was also really hard to find my room and there was no one on reception when I arrived and no instructions on where to find the room.

The location and the vibe. Everyone was really nice, we had so much fun chatting and playing games with others.
Some guests tend to leave a lot of dirty dishes in the kitchen and aren't tidy when using the toilets. Not the staff/hostel fault by any means, but it can still be somewhat annoying.

Staff awesome. Held a re supply box at no charge. Showed me around. Super nice to deal with on the phone and in person. A great price for a room in queenstown.easy online booking made the whole thing a great experience
I can't think of much really. Nothing made me want to go screaming from the building.

The property is in a very central and perfect location. The facilities are great and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Will stay here every time I visit Queenstown now. For the price you will not get better.
Being a hostel, some of the guests can make noise at night, however this Is to be expected and only impacted a couple of nights in the week.

Friendly. Could have a laugh with staff. Offered to put my bike in the garage to keep it safe. Also love the history on the walls and the Larson cartoons. Spa pool is fab. I've stayed here before - a few years ago- so returning tells you something. Was great last time too.
I couldn't find a clothesline. Maybe there's a reason why, that I don't know of. It wasn't terminal - I found a handy ladder instead. 🙂
