The room was nice, I liked the amenities - Dyson hair-dryer was a plus! The staff were super friendly. Good tea range in the room. The range of food available for breakfast was great.

The room was a bit small, we stayed at a different 5 star hotel on the same road for the same price range but a lot more spacious. Our room was next to the roadside where some construction/roadworks were happening. It was quite noisy during the day. Also the sound from the corridor came straight through to the room - we had pretty noisy neighbours who talked in the corridor until late at night which wasn't helpful.

Stayed 4 nights. 5 minute walk to town was easy. Room was great especially since we had a king bed overlooking the lake on the top floor. First time we ever had a new Dyson blow dryer. That was a thankful change as my wife brought one but it didn’t work anywhere with our converter. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They also handled the limited parking well via valet and then not charging us.

Only issues we had were (1) Rain head shower pressure was significantly lower than handheld pressure and (2) breakfast buffet was very disappointing. Had all the right stations and choices. Coffee machine was awful. Watery Lattes, no cappuccino choice and plain coffee was just awful. Toaster either burned or didn’t toast within 1 round. Ran out of multiple fruit choices. Bacon was warmed not cooked. At least the cooked eggs were done right.

The QT has an awesome inviting vibe from the minute you walk in the doors. Staff so friendly and accommodating. We stayed in the Lake King on the 8th floor. The view from the room was absolutely beautiful ... if you didn't look down and see the carpark. They have however tried to make this better by not allowing cars to park in certain areas. The room was lovely modern and clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast provided great cold options, hot food was lacking heat.

The Juliet balcony is just for viewing scenery. Having larger balcony's with outdoor seating would have added that extra level awe

From first glance in reception, this hotel is just like the photo's! It is funky and colourful. We were situated on the 9th floor, and although we didnt have any views, the room itself was beautiful and very modern. The bed was super comfy, loved that the room had a seperate sofa and ample space for all out personal belongings. The bathroom was HUGE! I loved that it had a bath seperate to the shower. The staff were all super helpful and very welcoming. Plus the location was a short 4-5 minute walk from the heart of Queenstown!

The room outlook was spectacular. The view was heaven at any time of day. I miss that view! Cute little balcony to step onto as well which lets in fresh air which is so rare in a hotel and the floor to ceiling windows add to the feeling of space. The room was large and well appointed which is great for a longer stay. The hotel team delivered ‘turndown treats’ every night which were really fun! Bed was soft and comfy, bathroom was unreal with separate shower and huge bath easily fits two. Bath bombs were a nice touch. Also loved the Dyson hairdryer and straightener! What an awesome touch. Kevin Murphy bathroom products were great and we enjoyed the coffee machine in our room. Staff were super responsive to all requests. The hotel is a super easy 5 min flat walk into town and parking was provided in our package. The room was expensive but the luxury we received along with little extras made it feel worth it to us. Especially for our honeymoon. Staff in the bars were pleasant and attentive. The hotel was a fun vibe and they clearly know how to do the little extras! There wasn’t a gym onsite but it was super easy to pay for a day pass and walk 5 mins into town to access it. A great workaround. Thanks to the QT team for a great stay!

A few items for consideration which let the hotel down given the luxury elements: Buffet breakfast we tried one morning, view was again amazing but for the price, I thought the selection and lack of barista coffee included was irritating. Not a huge selection of food on balance. Room service menu was average. Too many of the same theme and not enough fresh offerings. Heaps of rich fried food. Paying the bill at the hotel via a card incurs a hefty surcharge. If I’d have known this, we would have paid cash. Highway robbery! These are all things that could be easily modified or extended.

Rooms are luxurious with beautiful touches including wine, chocolate, Kevin Murphy toiletries and a Dyson hairdryer. Large room with sofa, table and plenty room to spread out. After a day's skiing it was so nice to come back to the warmth and luxury of the hotel. We had lake views which were stunning and a cute Juliet balcony. The breakfast room has stunning views as does the bar.

Breakfast was a little disappointing in range and none of the options were labelled so we had to guess what some things were!

I booked my stay at QT, after a couple weeks travelling on some group tours (and sharing a room with strangers!) so I wanted to splurge a bit to wind down and relax to enjoy my last 3 nights in NZ. When I saw the photos of the lake view from the room, I knew QT would be perfect! When I arrived however I was disappointed that my view was in fact of the building/carpark/pool in front. I did ask at reception to change to room that I thought I had booked, as the marketing photos are a bit deceptive. I was advised that I was in the right room, and the hotel was fully booked that night however I could be moved the following night. So, I did get a different room with a better view on nights 2&3 of my stay, the hotel was also lovely enough to leave some extra inclusions in my room to make up for it (complimentary breakfast/lattes, cocktail, and some treats like bath soak and face mask plus some macarons!) This was really appreciated. The room was spacious, with a great lighting plan and soft, comfy bed. The tv/bluetooth speaker has great functionality and I was easily able to connect and stream media from my own device - it's great when technology just works! The buffet breakfast was fresh and varied, I enjoyed it. I also had a drink and some bars snacks in the bar, which were good.

As some other reviews have mentioned, there's a bit of noise from other rooms. Obviously the hotel can't control what other guests do however I could hear a lot of thudding around which was likely coming from the floor above due to poor sound proofing, I don't think I've ever experienced this in a hotel before. Some of the decor in the room was a touch worn, too (like cracked basin, scratched timber, patchy varnish, wobbly shower shelf etc) but it wasn't too bad. I didn't love the vibe in the bar with football playing on the tv, I felt that sports bar didn't really fit the feel of the hotel. The staff who served me at the bar was quite surly too, though everyone else was great. Also, it would have been great if fresh milk (rather than UHT) was available for tea/coffee in the room.

Everything at QT Queenstown is perfect. My husband and I stayed there for four nights in the Remarkable Lake View room, we have not been this happy for a long time. The view is spectacular, the room spacious and their appliances are amazing. They have Dyson hair dryer and Bose wireless speaker. The personal hygiene products are some designer brand as well. The hotel is located 10-15 minutes walking distance to the Queenstown shopping centre and restaurants, 7 minutes to the harbour bridge. It saved so much time and effort commuting to the attractions we booked. Best of all, we had the best view among others. The staff were very attentive, they assisted us in every way to make our stay memorable. I am so grateful to book this facility with Booking.com, or I will not find it. We will come back for sure.

Spectacular views! Probably the most beautiful of any hotel I have ever stayed in. Ideal location close to the downtown hub but quiet and peaceful. Easy access to main road through sister hotel allowed us to avoid steep hills. Well worth upgrading to the rooms with a view. Even our “partial view” room we had for part of our stay had a gorgeous view of the Remarkables. Truly superb employees who went out of their way to ensure a great stay! Excellent breakfast, again with amazing views. And a fantastic cocktail lounge for evenings. Can’t say enough nice things about QT Queenstown!

Nothing- it was all first rate!

The Ladies (Louisa and Huyen) at reception went above and beyond to make a potentially frustrating time (airline losing one's luggage). The Ladies' helpful gestures, no matter time of day, really fits the QT ethos. It eased the frustration with the airline. Such assets to the hotel. I also appreciated the option of forgoing housekeeping in exchange for dinning credit. Great initiative I wished more hotels offered.

Not in the centre of town/action. 5-10mins walk
