Very modern and clean. The double pods were very large and comfortable with charging outlets and storage at the top of the bed. Free parking outside was a big plus considering the parking situation in Queenstown! Our room had a patio which was a nice addition.
We stayed in the 4 double pod room and having 8 people in the space was not ideal as there was a kitchenette and individuals on different schedules. There were also not enough toilets for the guests, the layout was confusing, and the key did not work easily in the door to the room. The pods also got quite warm. I would still recommend this property if it’s the best price, not sure I would stay in the double pod room again though.

The hostel was located near the bus hub of Queenstown, so it's very convenient if you're travelling by bus or by plane since the airport bus stops very close by. The city center is not that close though, but it's still reachable comfortably on foot. The staff was lovely and helpful, and they maintained the place very well. The pod itself was spacious, and there was ample of space to put my smaller personal space inside the pod that didn't take up bed space. The kitchen was very well equipped, including a boiling water tap, and maintained clean, including a stash of towels that were kept renewed. The lounge also felt quite cozy.
While the pod was spacious, the room could be a bit too narrow, even for 4 people occupany. There was no elevator (at least that I knew of) and to reach the door there were multiple steps, so it's definitely not recommended to travel on a large suitcase to this hostel. The key to my door could be rather tricky to operate, so I was also quite wary of disturbing my neighbors in the night time. Also I think there should be more hanging hooks/spots, because while I appreciate the current ones, it was difficult to hang towels and jackets at the same time.

Location is perfect, so close to everything! Staff were amazing, I got a little lost due to road works and the girl who I phoned was so helpful. Also the Welsh fella (whose name I don't know sorry) is the friendliest, most helpful man ever! All staff were so accommodating and lovely. Was probably the most comfortable bed I've slept in for a while, and the pod was very spacious, with a decent amount of storage.
There isn't really much not to like, the kitchen floor got a little sticky towards the end of the day, but this was cleaned and grand. It was overall a great hostel to stay in

location was pretty good, slightly away from the town centre from all the noise but still within a walkable distance. pods and lockers were allocated, they were clean and provided privacy. loving the toilets, super clean and comfortable to use.
kitchen and luggage room were upstairs from the ground floor but no complaints. it has what I needed for a night’s stay

I enjoyed the small 4-unit pod option. I had a corner with 2 windows so lots of natural light and a window that opened for fresh air. Having both the mini kitchen and balcony designated for our small group was very nice.
nothing - thanks!

The pods were excellent, super spacious (width and length) with personal shelves, lighting, and charging ports inside. The kitchen was very well equipped, spacious, and tidy.

Ricky at the front desk was extremely helpful. He recognized that I am a senior and offered to carry my suitcase to the top floor. He was also helpful in answering my questions about hikes in the area. This facility is convenient to the bus stop from Christchurch, bus stop to the airport and centrally located to all the shops & restaurants in town as well. Can’t beat the location!! As a hostel it was a nice bonus to have bath towels. 3 kitchen sinks and multiple cooktops so never too crowded.
Better cleaning of bathroom sink & shower rings around the drains. Roommate talking on the phone in her pod for a long time. It’s shared space!!

I liked the pods and the location.
My locker was outside of the room which I found really annoying. Not only did I have to leave the room every time I wanted something but it also felt unsafe. Theoretically anyone could reach - you did not even have to stay in the hotel and a tiny lock won't stop anyone. - To do believe though that this problem pertains to very few beds, on my corridor there were only 2 lockers in this situation.

Bed was super comfy, black out curtain gr8 addition as well as light. Kitchen had everything u needed + free tea & coffee 👌 friendly helpful staff Clean facilities too 🌟
Parking was a bit of a pain... I did park for free on a nearby street though. The roads works.wete a pain, and sadly Queenstown itself has turned into a destination feeling like any other expensive ski resort... such a shame.

Great location and very comfortable and private bed, also free towels and parking were great. Common areas also had a lovely view!
The staff - the one member of staff on the desk was pretty rude and reluctant to give any information? I was asked at check in for my bank details even though I’d already paid upfront and was looked at as if I was crazy when I asked what this was for, just a very weird interaction each time. I’ve also received TEN emails since booking to check out which was only 24 hours…please stop emailing so often. As soon as we checked in at 6pm I received 3 back to back emails to ‘remind us about check out’ the next day?? Then a further 3 the next morning to request review? Very unnecessary and annoying please change your system
