I was expecting to be in a standard motel unit, and was surprised to find that we had been allocated a suite of rooms above the restaurant. It was a bit dated and worn...but then it is an Old English Pub themed restraurant so finding ultra modern rooms upstairs wouldn't have been in keeping. Being a Monday night the other guests left early so noise wasn't an issue, and having the restraurant downstairs was very convenient. The food was excellent and well priced.

The furniture was a bit shabby and really needs replacing. Shag pile carpet went out with the '80s. The configuration of the bathroom and toilet was a bit weird (at opposite ends of the building). First on the list of things to do if renovating is to get rid of the carpet in the shower room.

We loved this little pub/motel in the heart of Marlborough wine country. We chose it because we were taking the intercoastal ferry from Wellingtin to Picton and wanted to rent bicycles to go to some wineries. The Cork and Keg was perfect as we had booked our bikes with Wine Tours by Bike which was walking distance away (a great bike rental place BTW). We enjoyed dinner at the pub as well. There are some cooking facilities but not full kitchen in the unit, but enough fir a light meal/breakfast. Room was spacious, clean and great value. Really enjoyed.

It was a really cute pub with great food. The room was very clean and spacious. On site parking was available at no extra cost. It was our favorite place we stayed on our trip, would highly recommend to anyone looking for a cute, cozy place to spend a couple of days.

Parking was a little hard to come by during dinner hours. However, there is lots of street parking available.

Hosts just lovely. Being able to sit in front of an open fire in their pub next door while eating a pub dinner and a glass of wine mingling with the locals was fun.

Nothing really. Might have been nice to have heating turned on prior to our arrival but the room really didn’t take long to warm up.

The 2 bedroom apartment upstairs is absolutely stunning with nice little plaques from the near by airforce base in Woodburn, the beds were we'll set up and comfy, it had its own kitchen and utensils, we didn't eat there but the pub downstairs was very pleasant and had a great atmosphere and not overly loud

Roos were comfy and as expected, the pub was way better than expected, the pictures on booking.com does not do it justice. Roaring fire, beams in the ceiling, ristic furniture and a good selection of beers and wine together with nice food made us stay in for the night!

Nothing really

There was no breakfast but didn't matter to us. The meals in the evening were awesome. Great staff running the place.

We didn't like having to book for two nights on the Friday and Saturday thats why we didn't stay until the sunday and Monday night. The price has gone up too since we've been before with no difference to last stay.

All the staff, the new rooms were lovely! The apartment was a bit tired. The owner was so accommodating and laid back! We were able to use the grill on the patio. We cooked our lamb chops and ordered fries and salads from the pub. Their food was great too! The location to liquor, butcher, grocery, so close. Great bikes available as well!

Location, cleanliness, comfort and the addition of cutlery, crockery, microwave & toaster. Made for a very comfortable stay. Location to “ English style Pub” with meals available and options for a drink were an added bonus

nice room, great hosts. Downside is that it's a warm part of the country and rooms do not have heatpumps/ac, and no through ventilation, just a small fan and small windows in rear. Day we were there was not too hot, about 32, but evening, although cooler, was still not really comfortable for sleeping. on a hot night, it would really be bad.
