The location of the hotel is awesome, walking distance from everywhere and it was awesome to have a parking building right across the road. The room was bigger than I expected and everything was great, good shower pressure, I loved that there was a dishwasher and a washing machine! Bed was super comfy too! Also the reception staff were super helpful and made the check-in and check-out process super easy

There wasn't much that I didn't like, the only real thing was that there was no overhead lighting in the room so when it got to nighttime, the room was a bit dim. Other than that I had an excellent stay and will definitely be booking here again next time I come to Wellington!

The room was big; fully equiped (dishwasher, toaster, fridge w/ small freezer, microwave, etc,) although very little cutlery- just a set for each so had to wash them regularly. There was a washer and dryer which were really convenient. Cleaning/showering products were provided. The bed had nice sheets. Chromecast was a plus

The windows were not clean, so looking through them was not pleasant. Since we visited in summer, Wellington was really hot. We were only provided with a faulty stand fan which wasnt enough to cool down the room and no ventilation possibilities so it was a major disadvantage; plus, it was broken so it made noises all the time. The internet would cut off regularly, which was annoying as we were in need of steady connection.

This is my second stay at the Astelia Apartment Hotel and it was as good as I remember it. I had a comfortable room that was quiet, spacious and had all the facilities I needed. I really like the availability of the washing machine/dryer. The people at reception are always very friendly and when my swipe card didn't work after hours, someone came around quickly to fix it. I will definitely be coming back again.

My only complaint is that in the summer I will probably look for a hotel or apartment that has an air conditioner. Although there is a fan provided in the room, it will only be blowing hot air around so unfortunately when I am in Wellington over the summer I will stay elsewhere. It would be great if the apartments did have air conditioners.

The almost separate bedroom was great with very comfortable bed, pillows etc. We liked the 9th floor. The outlook onto Dixon St apartments was pleasant, lots of space between buildings so some views. Light and spacious. Excellent coffee next door (Raglan Roast)

The desk wasn't manned all the time and it wasn't clear when someone would be available however we were able to check in fine. Also one of the lifts was out of order a bit of the time and we ended up taking the stairs. I prefer extra cutlery and crockery etc rather than the exact number to match the occupancy

The apartment had all the essentials, and was clean, tidy, and reasonably quiet. It was also reasonably priced and offered twin bed accommodation: perfect for our group of friends. So glad we could open a window for fresh air. Staff were friendly and helpful. Thank you for letting us leave our luggage out back until official check in time; it enabled us to go off and enjoy ourselves as soon as we arrived. Communication before arrival was appreciated.

Shower only ran warm on Sunday morning, not hot. There were some odd sounds at night that sounded a little like vermin in the attic. Would have appreciated more than the minimum pillows, crockery, glassware, and cutlery.

Fantastic location, swipe card access, friendly and accommodating staff. The room was basic and dated but had everything you needed and was very clean. The choice of drink condiments and bathroom supplies were good. Shower was warm and good water pressure. Appreciated the quiet time policy after 10pm. Tv set up with chrome casting was a bonus. Overall I would definitely stay again and encourage friends/ family to. It’s a great place to stay if you’re out in Wellington all day and just need a cosy bed for the night.

The coffee machine didn’t work and the fan for bathroom did not work either. Sink in bathroom didn’t have a plug. The room could do with modernising to make it more attractive and appealing.

A good sized apartment with all the necessary kitchen facilities and very comfortable and warm. The room was very quiet and the staff are always helpful and friendly. Although I didn't use the washer/dryer, it is a great addition to the room if it was needed. I always feel safe staying here.

Nothing to mention, I was very happy with everything.

We had a one bedroom queen room and it worked very well for us. It was clean, spacious, bed was very comfortable, the bathroom amenities were great as was the washer drier, storage was good. We were on the 2nd floor overlooking Willis St and it was surprisingly quiet with the sliding door closed. We loved the location, walked everywhere and had a New World about a 5min walk away. Also there's a stop for the AirPort Express bus just opposite New World. Had a great stay!

Just about Everything, staff were wonderful, room was nice and warm on arrival.

The tv casting would not work on the link with pin, only with the barcode which was a pain as had ipad to use, lucky I had a cell phone that took the barcode. Would be better to have apps on the tv and just sign into them. No dressing gown, my friend stayed same nights and got dressing gown and slippers in her room. Fridge was noisy but easy enough to turn off. Washing machine to complicated to use, tried to dry a top and followed instructions didn't work, had to dry by heater.

But nit picking really, will definitely stay there again when next in Wellington!
