I like how it was situated close by to most interesting places in downtown welly that you dont have to bring your car and just walk as looking for a parking was terrible. I like the cozy temperature of the room even though we did not open any heat pump in the unit, that still puzzles me. The staff were accomodating and sweet except for the lady cleaner, perhaps she did not hear me saying goodmorning. But thats not a big deal. I like how the room well equipped with all the things you might need in your stay, they even provided a dishwashing liquid unlike any other lodge. Another thing i like is the free parking :-)

No elevator but good thing we are located at the same level of the receptionist as my wife is pregnant and couldnt do stairs climbing. You can easily hear and feel the car door being shut close outside the parking lot at night but we have a white noise with us so it didnt impact our sleep and we did not hear any disturbing sound like that after 12 midnight.

I cant say enough. I travelled to meet my 3 grown children who live in Wellington (one was returning from Japan after two years teaching), they made it so much more enjoyable by allowing my children to have turns at staying with me, also provided extra carparks to make it easier for two of my children visiting from outside of Wellington (as car parking cost is horrendous in Wellington). I will use this Motel everytime I travel to Wellington now (approx. 3x a year). Walkable distance to town,CBD, Te Papa etc.

I wouldn't call it executive as it is quite dated but Im not the executive type anyway. Others who are maybe disappointed? The single bed wasn't comfortable for me but my children didn't mind it. Please could you have a pen and notepad for use for shopping lists, notes during stay and also a pair of scissors to open sachets, cut tags off any shopping done whilst staying.

The location is magic for walking around Wellington. Having off road parking is a big draw card too. Staff are fabulously friendly and kind.

This was a booking for three people and only two towels were provided. We had to go looking for an extra towel. The outside security light is very bright and it shines directly through the small window above the door, our guest staying in the single bed had to deal with nearly daylight conditions to sleep. Room 206. Would a small curtain be appropriate?

Great location, I travelled with my fifteen year old granddaughter to WOW. Bathroom has been updated with an amazing shower .Kitchen had everything we needed. Was freezing but room was warm and electric blankets on beds. Short walk into town, great taxi service. Man on reception was super friendly and helpful. TV had great selection of channels.

Rooms are tired but it was clean and service friendly.

- very uncomfortable flat pillows - glass panel above the door that lets in light, when there are excellent block out curtains on the window, doesn't make sense - tiles on bathroom floor appear to have heaps of built up grime over time on them. You can see the cleaner patches on them on less used parts. They look like they need a good scrub.

Manager always available to help as needed . Excellent location for CBD venues. Walked everywhere. Very roomy clean quiet 2 bedroom accomodation.

For a self- contained unit there was minimal cooking utensils . Enough plates etc but we could not use the oven and microwave to cook until, on request, the manager came up with what we needed. When we needed a dustpan and broom there was none either. Again, the manager provided something. The exhaust fan/ light in the toilet far too noisy to operate when others were sleeping.

It was a FANTASTIC location near Cuba street. My daughter and I stayed in a room with 1 bedroom and she had a single bed in the lounge. I had a queen bed. Kitchen was handy. Mum stayed next door which was convenient. There was a lift . Parking was great too.

The couch needed replacing. Spa bath sounded like a train was going to run us over. The place could use a spruce up, a bit tired.

Loved that it had everything we needed, Spa bath in our room was the main reason for our stay. 3rd floor 2bdrm apartment sleeps 5 could easily fit 7. Kitchenette w oven and big fridge/freezer. Toilet is separate, shower over spa. 2 large couches (1 is pull out) and a 2 seater pull out. Private balcony. SKY TV.

The location is really convenient and we were able to walk to most of the city's attractions, while leaving our car safely parked outside.Our 1bd apartment was spacious, well equipped, very clean and quiet. Everything worked, the wifi was fast and excellent range of TV channels . Staff were very friendly and helpful, we were able to check into our room early, since it was ready... very convenient.

It would be really useful to have a mirror in the bedroom.

Victoria Court Motor Lodge is well located near Wellington's vibrant Cuba Street. It's away from the next road, hence rather quiet. The units are spacious with large beds and a big kitchen. Staff is very friendly.

Furniture, fixtures and some appliances are a bit old and could do with renovation or replacement. There is no safe, no safe storage space for luggage, and the reception is not always manned, so you shouldn't arrive late.
