Great room/suite: loads of space, well appointed kitchen inc washing machine/drier, very comfortable and very light. Good location close to main sights and restaurants etc.

We used the secure car park which required a card swipe entry and exit. To get from the car park to our room we had to get a lift down to the hotel reception then go outside into another building, go up in another lift (with card swipe), and through an outer and an inner door (both with card swipe) - that’s really not great with luggage.

Location and is always such a lovely place to stay and staff are very friendly and always so helpful

The 2 bedroom apartment level one was a bit dark in all areas so missed some lovely weather Wellington had on the weekend….. as the apartment backed onto the private carpark it made it darker and when the roller door went up it made a winding sound then the lights would go on in the dark… Nothing major but would have loved to be on another level so we could have some light into the apartment as we have stayed there before and have experienced nice light into the rooms when your higher As the apartment was not serviced during our 5 day stay, the towels were big enough, had to wash and dry them so we could use daily

We received a free upgrade to the Penthouse, staff were approachable and happy to organise for our bins to emptied and tea restocked whenever we asked despite there only being weekly housekeeping. Very quiet, great location in terms of access to the city (can walk). Very clean, lots of blankets provided. Heating worked really well, all towel rails were heated as well.

As I had already read, parking was very tight on the hotel carpark so I would recommend hiring a small car (we had a Rav 4). The local streets are also narrow with tight corners. As others have commented the kitchen didn't have a baking tray nor did it have a mixing bowl (only shallow cereal bowls) so we had to buy these ourselves to use during our stay. The kitchen bin was very small so we needed to call to have it emptied a lot as we were cooking there. The combined washer dryer was great to have but it was very slow and could only manage very small loads.

Location was good, and room was reasonable size. We had a few issues, and the staff tried their best to help resolve them, but it took five days before we eventually had a satisfactory resolution thanks to the manager Sam. To be fair, the hotel was fully booked due to various events in Wellington, which made it pretty impossible for the staff to resolve things sooner. The town house we were moved into was very comfortable.

No air-conditioning in the rooms in the part of the hotel we were in. An electric garage roller door right beside our bedroom windows which squeaked every time it was used, day and night! Overall the hotel could do with a bit of an update to merit its high star rating, as it is not luxury accommodation at the moment.

The location is so handy to be able to walk everywhere. It is close to the waterfront, shops, restaurants. The studio room was bigger than expected. Very clean and comfortable.

There was no kettle in our room. I went down to reception and met a man in the lift who was on his way down to report no towels in his room. Someone came up to the room very quickly with no kettle and to check it there was one or not? I explained I had checked all the cupboards and shelves then left to get us a kettle. Maybe a supervisor should check all the rooms after they have been cleaned?

After copious research we settled on the Boulcott Suites and last minute chose the north facing balcony. Great choice. The apartment was well appointed with a lovely aspect looking over the church and busy intersection of Willis St and Manners St which was perfect. We chose to eat out each day and cook at night, as there was a New World supermarket just down the street. The apartment had a decent sized kitchen, coffee machine, and enough equipment to cook a reasonable meal. I appreciated the instructions for all the electrical items. The washer dryer was very efficient , but it took me a few goes to get the balance right with the cycles for the washer then dryer. TV was set up,with an easy chrome cast - scan QR code on your phone and you are on. In terms of location, it was really good. The top end where Willis St meets Manners St has a mix of high end, arty and the cheap eats, interspersed with ale houses and wine bars. The more we walked around more interesting layers of the whole area appeared. Walking everywhere, we covered a lot of ground, but the public transport was excellent with all the buses stopping on either side of the intersection. The rooms in our apartment were comfortable and sound proof. We didn’t use the balcony but it was nice to have the doors open. After seeing some of the other competition (hotels)on our walks, I was glad we chose the central location. If you like walking I thoroughly recommend walking up and around the Mt Victoria tracks as well as the walk down from the cable car through the Botanical Gardens. A highlight was the Lady Norwood Rose Garden. Full size fridge, oven and washing machine. Loved the bedside lamps with built in 2 USB ports and phone stand. You didn’t have to ascend too far to reach the hotel. It was close to the relatively flat area of town.

It's in the middle of the city, and everywhere in the city area is basically within a walking distance, for ex. to the wharf, Te papa museum, Cuba street. I liked the service that you can order different types of pillows. I asked for a memory foam pillow as I didn't feel so comfortable with the original pillow there. My children used different types and they liked theirs, too. The room is spacious and kept clean. It was good to have a patio to hang the laundry. Another positive aspect is they use environmentally friendly products from shampoos, dishwashing liquid to tea/coffee. I bought the same product as they have after my stay there.

There is TV and you can watch NZ TV, but no netflix or Disney+ or so, so you need to screen cast if you want to watch. However, as the internet was not so stable, the screen cast stopped quite often. We gave up casting in the end and used our tablets. Hopefully it will be either the internet becomes more stable or they subscribe Netflix in the future. It will be better if there are more cutlery. There are just 4 or 5 each cutlery, so we needed to wash them after breakfast or lunch by hand nearly evertime after use even though there is a dishwasher. The toilet flush was very weak. Hopefully, it will be improved, too.

Close to the conference in the CBD, easy to find, very friendly staff and great to have a kitchen, washer/drier etc instead of the minimal facilities in a standard hotel room. Secure parking for our car was a plus and very close to our room for loading/unloading.

Very loud; our room was right next to the elevator and it sounded like a bowling ball rolling down the stairs, every time someone used it (2 15 am the first night and 4am on the last night; in the dead of night, it woke us both up and could hear other guests being woken up). The CBD itself is very loud; lots of shouting, fighting, trucks etc but that's not the fault of the hotel, although, there was also a streetlamp that shone straight in all of the windows, all night. More than that though, we could hear every footstep, shower, toilet visit and cough of every nearby guest, all day and night; rooms need soundproofing. Also, the beds were a bit too firm.

Fabulous location, right in the heart of Wellington. Friendly check in staff. Comfortable, modern, clean, large room with kitchenette. This will be our new go to place to stay in Wellington.

Not a complaint, but our room was in a separate building, right next door, so after checking in we had to walk out of the building with our luggage, down a steepish pathway and into the next door building. If you were old, or had mobility issues, or small children in tow, this might have been a bit tricky to manoeuvre. Nothing more than a slight inconvenience for us.

The instructions to retrieve the access card for an after hours arrival needs to be reviewed. It is not to the left of the entrance. It is actually to the right of the car park entry door. Also the access card we retrieved from the lock box allowed us entry to the hotel however the access card did not open the room we were allocated which meant we had to then walk around the hotel trying the access card on other rooms on different floors. The staff apologised profusely the following morning. Not a good experience however the location and comfort of the hotel was excellent
