Breakfast was great!

The young lady on the service desk did not appear to take our request for an early check in seriously. We are old and dont travel well - needed to rest up - we arrived about 1300hrs. Said she would call us when the room was ready but didn't. Two hours later we returned to the hotel and asked, and it was obvious she had done nothing. Fluffed about with the computer and checked us in. The rest of the team - especially Jean-Pierre and the dining staff were great. The TV picture was poor, despite recalibration of the settings. Don't think it has been updated since staying there in my corporate days in the '90's. Freeview stations quite limited. Read a book.

Really central location- Te Papa museum was only a 5 minute walk, with the same sort of distance to eateries/bars on Cuba St & Courtney Place. Comfortable large bed. Sky Movies included on TV. Good choice for breakfast, including continental and cooked. Probably only 15 spaces in the hotel car park, but loads more in the public car park just across the back driveway (back entrance for unloading is 25 Bond St, Wellington for satnav).

A bit soul-less. Cooked breakfast could do with more cooking! Your door key card is needed in all public areas- lift, toilets, entrances.

Location-on foot post check in so very convenient! Loved the card key access to ensure safety.

My check in details had been mixed up with another person of the same name but that was it, nothing else correct, lengthened the check in process & was a privacy breach, not acceptable, sorry 😞 Requested late check out 11am which was agreed to which was much appreciated but was not conveyed to house keeping which resulted in a couple of door knocks & phone call from reception. Our privacy marker on the door was ignored & room entered in our absence whilst at breakfast.

The location was perfect. It was right across the road from our concert venue. Cuba street was just a few steps away, great shopping, cafes and bars. The staff were outstanding in all areas including the bar, our Espresso Martini's were very nice, and restaurant staff at breakfast. Love the furniture in the lounge area, very stylish. I should mention the Christmas tree, it was gorgeous!

The room was a bit quirky with an unusual shape. Walls were a bit thin, we could hear people in the hallway and noise from other rooms.

From the moment I arrived the service was friendly and professional and remained that way. The room was really nice and had comfortable seating. It was quiet despite being on a busy road. I used room service and it was very efficient and quick. I recommend the steak which melted in my mouth and was perfectly cooked. There is a huge variety of different shops really close by so you can get snacks if you want to or just go shopping/window shopping. I would definitely stay there again without hesitation.

I don't have any criticisms. The hotel was great, the staff friendly and professional, the service was great.

Room was spacious, clean and generally comfortable. Very nice chairs.

It was a really cold day. The heater was well away from the windows, so did little to heat the room. The duvet was thin and there was no extra blanket provided. I had to fold over the other half of the duvet and use the design cover to keep warm. The TV remote did not work. You had to go to the back of the TV to plug something into the TV in order for it to work. Small but important details.

The staff were very friendly and helpful

Through no fault of the hotel a staff member booked a taxi for us with combined taxis whom apparently they have an arrangement, with capped fares to the railway station at $11. Upon arriving at the railway station the driver tried to charge $30 when I complained he charged $25. I would like to also note when I got into the taxi I showed the driver the business card I was given by the hotel stating the fair was $11. I let the hotel know of this and hope that something was done before this company is recommended to anyone else.

It’s right in the middle of the city, Proximity to local shops, market and Waterfront Good location and very friendly staff- especially Mayank who helped us through check-in transition smoothly and sorted out parking concern ideally not everyone would able to do that and another Chinese girl in the evening was very helpful

They don’t have tap with mixture in washbasin,so it’s hard to manage bcoz if you turn on hot water it’s boiling and cold is extreme Shower does have mixture though

I had messaged the hotel to ask if we could please drop our luggage as early as 10 AM. Instead, they had our room ready for us at 10:30 AM as we arrived from the train station. It really felt as if they had gone out of their way to make us comfortable. Location was perfect. Staff was welcoming. Room was spacious and immaculate. My list goes on and on!

Was a little sad that because of train schedules, we couldn’t stay longer! Certainly NOT the fault of the hotel.

The location , your staff , the menu , especially the steak and accompanying salad , the wine - Devils’ staircase Pinot Gris and the availability of a Carpark .

Twin beds would have been better but I probably needed to book earlier . The bed was very comfortable . Nice if we had real milk in the room not sachet . It was available down stairs .
