- We stayed Friday and Saturday night. The Bald guy at reception was top notch. Super helpful and had a good conversation. - The leisure centre was awesome. I do wish it was open 24/7 but the 11pm close was pretty good.

- There were a lot of used towels spread around the leisure centre the first night we stayed. - I am a frequent sauna user, and as a suggestion to make your sauna a 10/10, I would add a water cooler in the pool area to encourage sauna users to hydrate. A clock in the area so users can look out the sauna window to track how long they have been in is also a safe guard for new users.

Rooms were clean, comfortable and although not big had everything we needed. We had an interconnecting room and they were able to fit a third trolley bed in the kids room for us which worked really well. The chocolate hour and breakfast were great and other little touches like the cookies at reception were nice. Staff for the most part were very helpful and accommodating.

Our room wasn’t ready for check in when we arrived at 3.30pm after a long journey with kids. The person checking us in barely apologised and told us nothing about the hotel facilities. No one offered to help with our luggage even though we had a lot. It wasn’t a great start.

The Hotel was very nice, a very close walk to Cuba Street, the Ferry, the Cable Cars, restaurants, etc. There were also free cookies and tea made from cacao leaves in the lobby. There were some coconut....and something else in it cookie, but they were delicious. Might have had more than just one. The hotel also has a nice restaurant with nice views and a secret elevator that puts you at the bottom of the hill so you can save some walking. Lol. The only thing is that the elevator closes at 10pm. The staff was really nice, especially Inga and this other semi-older gentleman...who I didn't catch the name of, but that's my bad. They also gave suggestions as to where to walk, what to see, where to go, and were very patient! I would definitely stay the hotel again given the opportunity! Both of our rooms on different floors facing different directions also had nice city views.

Located close to the Cuba St Precinct. Pool and Sauna are clean. Gym is pretty well equipped. Complimentary cookies at the reception. The room size is decent. Excellent and friendly service. The ice cream at the restaurant was amazing!

No free parking on site. The bathroom has no ventilation fan. The complimentary chocolate hour seems overrated without the chocolate ice cream they were advertising on their website. The building is located on a slope, such that the reception is on level 5 and our room is at level 1. Walking from the city requires a steep hill climb to the reception, before we found a backdoor (janitor) exit near level 1. In retrospect we should have checked with the staff about this

everything was great

I brought my grandson specifically for the pool and we were only allowed to use it for an hour. and we couldn’t get to work the tv in the kids room, I did ask reception and they didn’t know either.

This hotel is just a short drive from the Picton ferry or from Wellington Airport ( depending on your access to the city). It is easy to locate. Parking is available for a fee (but at least your car is safe as it is valet parking, and it is off the street). It is well worth dining at the hotel on at least 1 night (depending on the length of stay, I stayed for 2 nights(and was not disappointed) The quality of the food ,ambience, and service (take a bow all) serves it well. Well done. I picked this hotel by chance, and I certainly picked a winner 🏆. A big thank you.

No complaints whatsoever.

A normal hotel by European standards. Comfortable bed. Central location, but away from the noise of the city. The pool/gym/sauna-area is decent.

The selection of cold foods and bread/pastries at the breakfast buffet was very poor. I would eat breakfast somewhere else unless you have it included. They didn't replace the capsules for the in-room nespresso machine after we had used the four supplied on arrival.

The room was very comfortable and looking out at the plant life outside our window made it seem private and calming. It was great to come back to after a busy day of site seeing. Also being on the edge of the cbd meant it was nice and quiet. Acces to Wellingtons electric scooters was also a bonus for my daughter and I to get around and were a lot of fun. The eateries in Cuba st was within easy walking distance as well. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Can't think of any. The staff were friendly and accommodating to our needs. Will definitely stay again the next time I'm in Wellington :-)

Great price, large comfy bed, nice city view. Room service was pretty quick and all the staff we encountered were awesome. Valet parking was the cheapest I've encountered and full marks to the staff for making their way through the full carpark when everyone arrived. We had an executive King and the room was not spacious but good size.

No soundproofing - we could clearly hear room next door event though they were just talking at conversational level , bathroom door has large gaps so has the potential to be not too pleasant. In all honesty while the staff were amazing and went out of their way with their service, I dont know if the rooms really felt like 5 star,- bathroom more an ensuite so was a bit snug.- although the price wasn't either so we were pretty happy.

The staff was extremely kind and accommodating. We loved our room because it was spacious, had a great view of the city and we were lucky enough to be on the top floor. We also ate at the hotel restaurant and had a spectacular meal. The staff was extremely attentive and helped with recommendations. The bathroom in our room was very clean and the water pressure was great, It was our honeymoon and the team even had a surprise desert plate waiting for us in our room and gave us a free upgrade! It was wonderful
