The location can't be beat! You're so close to many interesting sites, shopping, grocery stores, and transportation. The staff here are also incredibly helpful and friendly. They are very responsive to requests. The rooms are a bit older compared to other offerings in the city, but they offer a lot of great space and are comfortable. There's also not a lot of noise from the neighborhood at night which is a big plus for light sleepers.
The cleaning seemed a bit inconsistent. Sometimes it was like the scrubbed the room top to bottom, other times they missed areas for cleaning, like under the table. It wasn't enough to ruin anything but a bit more attention would have been nice.

Great location...easy to walk anywhere..cafes close by...waterfront 5mins walking...the Quest is sited in an old building....beautiful features of a bygone era..the staff were welcoming and always present...our room was very clean and tidy....roomy as well...a bit tired though. Would return there as great location, and easy to get to. Bus travel to Airport seamless.
There wasn't anything to dislike at the Quest. The taxi ride from airport to the Quest was an eye opener. Very expensive we rhought. The driver even offered to pick us up Sunday and take us back to the airport . We caught the Airport Express Sunday...cost $0...20 min ride.

Perfect location. Plenty of space. Two bathrooms was a bonus! Comfortable beds and couches (although the dining chairs were a bit unstable but still usable), washing machine and dryer were great to use (washing machine lid was broken and the filter for the dryer kept falling off but did not affect being able to use these). The place felt like home, and the amount of windows made us feel very relaxed as opposed to some hotels where you only get a tiny window or none at all! Overall, awesome stay. We will definitely be staying here again.
That we only booked two nights! Nothing ‘bad’ to mention at all

Brilliant location, close to shopping, 5 minute walk to the harbour, Te Papa museum, cable car, and airport shuttle stops 2 mins walk from the hotel. A great base to explore Wellington. Next door is the beautiful Old Bank Building with its wonderful architecture, quaint stores, two excellent cafes. Easy after hours check in, no issues with accessing our room. We had quite a large room on a higher floor which was very quiet. We loved the kitchenette, large bathroom and washing machine and dryer in our room. It felt like our own apartment. Really helpful staff and we love the art deco vintage of the building. We have stayed in all types of hotels with various star ratings. Next time we visit Wellington we would stay here again because it provided us exactly what we needed and is very affordable at the same time.

Great location. Clean and comfortable room.
I know it appears somewhere on the booking site that parking is not included, but it's not prominent enough. It should be clear at the check out point that the room is $126 or room plus parking is $165. There were other hotels on offer the day I booked that included parking and would have come out comparable, if not cheaper. So the $126 wasn't actually a great deal. Also, they state that someone is at reception from 8am but no one turned up until 9. There were no instructions where to turn in your keys if no one was at the desk when you want to check out.

Location was central; Door access was smart, but I wished there was a double lock from inside; Lobby was warm; T&B was so large, I wished there was a tub! But even without it, it's nice; Equipment were there for daily use (washing machine and dryer, stove; kettle; toaster; pans; etc) I loved that there were comfortable seats by the window and by the bed; Blackout curtains! Kept the luggage while i did last minute errands; Warm room! The heater was close to the bed so it became warmer quite faster; Sound proofing; Windows can be opened, esp when cooking. Not so important: TV with limited channels. If I were alone, smart TV would be nice. But I was with my son, so this was okay as I can connect to my device should I need entertainment.
It's NOT accessible from the road. I have to lift my son's troller up and down the steps every time we leave or enter the building. The bedside lamps were cool daylight; but the rest of the room was warm. The switches were also not within reach from the bed. No guest review.

Great location, right in the centre of the city. Lovely, big spacious apartment. Felt secure as big wooden doors are closed and locked at nights and the only way into the premises was through use of your fob on the room key.
No plug in the bathroom. I didn't ask about one at reception as I have experienced this before and it's disappointing that people pinch them. Room pricing was very good however, parking was quite expensive, $39 per night, and not on the premises but down the road a bit in a carparking building. Pricing may be from the company running the parking building and not the accommodation but it's worth taking this into consideration when comparing prices on accommodation.

We booked the studio apartment - we were on the 7th floor. Great apartment for a couple with everything required and very comfy. Close by was the parking in the ASB Wilsons park. one level large felt secure covered parking. Very expensive ($39 for 24 hrs) but we were able toi come and go over 24 hrs. There was a washing machine & dryer. The building is older but very adequate and a great price so that made up for the cost of the parking
No heated towel rail and also no shelf or anything in the shower to put soap etc Was a shame but we would definetly stay again. Was a bit of noise every now and then but we did have the window open a small amount.

Amenities are excellent value if no events are on in Wellington -biggest floor space, really roomy, dated but pleasant and very clean. The service staff are obviously well valued by their employers as the care in presentation is evident throughout and attitudes are light, cheery and helpful. Laundry facilities are great, all appliances in good order and of decent quality. On reception greeted with well informed, efficient staff who are always ( have stayed on at least 8 occasions) unhurried yet industrious and focussed. Check in is thorough yet is professionally diminished into a mere formality while priority is given to well being during stay. Really good example of a premises that is managed and maintained to a point that it generates a feeling of instant ease. Very impressed and for value, feel good and amenities is first Wellington choice.
Struggle to come up with anything. Literally for price range this Quest boxes well above its weight.

I’m an ex Wellington resident so I know the town and this place is an excellent central location, a short stroll/walk to everywhere. It was a standard quest apartment which is to say it’s a well appointed and serviced modernish apartment. It’s in the back of the old bank building which is a central landmark in Wellington. Pretty much the heart of the city.
The windows aren’t double glazed probably because it’s a heritage building. So it needed the heater at night and it was quite noisy because it sits at the confluence of a bunch of city streets. Also, the tv should be on an arm so you can see it from the bed or the table.
