Forenom apartments were only 5 minutes walk from the main bus and train station in a busy area of Oslo. Despite this it was very quiet once in the room and there was was hardly any noise at night from people or traffic. The room was an adequate size with two twin beds pushed together, which was ideal for my daughter and I. We had a small kitchen area with full size fridge and dishwasher. We didn't actually cook anything but had breakfast and made sandwiches for our lunch. There were plenty of grocery stores within walking distance. There was a small wet room with shower and heated floor. We did not see any staff as you let yourself in using a code, which was the same one to get in the building and your room, so no keys to carry around. We had a buzzing noise in our room one day and I rang the phone number and a guy told me how to solve the problem which thankfully worked.

It is not the prettiest area to stay in but this is outweighed by the handiness of being near the main bus and train station and underground stops.

A very good value for money stay in the heart of Oslo. Only a few minutes walk from the city Center and almost near the central station. The room was comfortable and very clean ( I believe that the towels and sheets are changed every week but I only stayed for a couple of nights so it didn’t bother me at all. There is also space to leave your luggage.

There are many comments regarding the neighbourhood but I have not faced any problems. However the doors should have had locks because it seemed that they weren’t that safe since they were just closed. Also the codes of the lockers change every day and it is quite difficult to learn the code every time ( a phone call is necessary) In my case they messaged me that after a Long communication. It would also be good to have shampoo and soap in the bathroom.

The location was amazing, right next to the bus station and a short walk to the train station. The apartment was neat and tidy and had a heated bathroom floor which was great and the shower was rain style with plenty of hot water. The room had a small balcony which we could not use at it rained the whole time of our stay, which was a shame .The PIN code entry made it easy and free Wi-Fi was fast and easy to use. The apartment was very quiet once inside there was no outside noise. The only criticism I would have was that the bed was a little on the small side so that made it a bit uncomfortable, but other than that we were happy with the apartment.

Just the small bed, everything else was great. The apartment had a coffee plunger and kettle and although it is an apartment it might be nice to just have a couple of teabags, coffee sachets, sugar and long life milk portions just for people like me who forgot to bring their own. Not a criticism just a suggestion.

When we arrived late at night there were a number of down and outs gathered near the large double doors. This was intimidating at first but then a father walked out with two young children. We then realised that they look scary but we're harmless. The apartment block is busy and lots of people in and out. So nothing to worry about here. The area is a cosmopolitan area and there is a local Indian restaurant to the left of the hotel. Simple food and affordable prices. The accommodation is as it stated small and compact it does the job. For visitors out the most part of the day this is perfect to rest. It's close to the railway station and sights.

The shower pressure played up once and then worked. This is a minor issue and could be down to peak usage and a pump playing up.

I see the bad reviews but I really don't understand why people are complaining about this accommodation. It is clean and even though it is small it is functional. It was thoughtfully designed so you have enough storage space, you have a place to sit and work, you have a stove, fridge and dishwasher machine and a microwave. The bathroom is clean, the sink is a bit small but not a really serious issue. The blinders were working perfectly fine as well as the AC and wifi. No homeless people in front of the building, no sketchy people trying to get in. Perfect location close to the bus and train station. Room 619

No staff on premises, so in case you have a problem, getting help might take some time

Perfect for a two-day trip with my daughter. Very centrally located, a short walk from Oslo S. The room was spacious enough and very clean. Big TV, blackout curtains and blinds - very useful when the sun doesn't really set! Nice to have the option of having two separate (single) beds. Was also glad to have the kitchen, although we only actually used the fridge.

The room got very warm during the night, and it was only about 22 degrees outside - would have liked a fan. It was also a bit of a pain to have to phone (and be put on hold) to ask questions, like how to get into the luggage room, for example - but I imagine this is for safety reasons.

I liked that it was clean and I liked that it was close to many grocery stores (all types of food: asian, arabic, Kiwi store or Rema 1000) and couple of pizzerias around! Also close to the bus terminal (6-8 minutes to walk) and close to the city center.

I didn't like that there are drunk or droged people right next to entrence of the tube station witch is next to the apart hotel, but also all the street around the apart hotel. I will never stay there by myself! It is maybe suitable for a grup of friends.

Good facilities and very comfortable bed. Has everything you need for a short or medium stay, good shower, all very clean and well presented. No staff onside, everything is dealt with electronically and you receive a pin number to access the building and your apartment. Was a little sceptical of this at first but worked very well and removes the chance to lose your room key! Paid extra for a room with a balcony and it was definitely worth the little extra (c.£10/night more for me) as sitting there in the morning sun was lovely.

The area around the hotel isn't great as some other comments mentioned, but that is simply due to being near the main station and that is fairly standard for any main station in Europe. There are 4 star hotels on the same road so the issue isn't confined to this hotel, in fact it is worse around the radisson and clarion. I arrived at 1am and while there were a few dodgy characters on the street from the station I never felt threatened- in fact they were quite friendly- and there were a lot of police driving around so don't let that put you off. 5mins walk and you are at the main station again. Walk with confidence and you will be fine but if you don't want to risk it then you need to look south or west of the station.

Non-contact virtual procedures for check-in/out. Completely facilities within the unit. Everything within expected working order. Well located.

Extremely strict check in time, if the apparentment is available and ready a slight courtesy of 1 or 2 hours could be given without charge, plus the common check-in time is 15h and theirs is 16h. The ID verification is a little problematic when you are traveling. I had my ID stored and had to open my luggage to take a picture of it. I had a stored photo but no option to upload it was given.

Close to train station and local shops for food and only short walk to ports and centre

The entrance was used every evening by groups of men to drink so could be intimidating and even had to ask them to move so we could access the entry key pad. The stools were also to high in the room to sit under pull our breakfast bar so ended up eating and drinking on bed. Advertised as double but both 'single' beds had wheels so they just kept moving apart every time we moved
