The breakfast was very good, and all in all it was a very good stay. The room was very nice, and there was not much noise from the outside.

At my arrival, the breakfast was closing in 15 minutes, and I only had time to have one plate and one coffee before I was asked by the staff to leave the breakfast restaurant because it was closing. That was not exactly value for the money. Would have appreciated the information that I also had to leave in 15 minutes, I thought the buffet was closing in 15 minutes, and I could sit down and finish my meal in peace. But no.

Comfortable beds. Rituals products (liquid soap and shower gel) are available in the bathroom. Our room had a view of the courtyard, so it was quiet. Excellent location, 3-4 minutes walk to the Oslo Cathedral, 5 minutes to the central station and 10 minutes to the Opera house. Tram and bus stop in front of the hotel. Tasty food. Breakfast is more varied and has more choices. For dinner there is a little less choice and mostly 4-5 different salads, main course and soup. It was more than enough for us. The dinner menu changed every day. In the afternoon, they serve coffee, tea and cakes - fika. A coffee and tea machine is available 24 hours a day in the lobby. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful.

The light in the room is too dark and there is not much space for a wardrobe (only hangers), but this is not a big problem (this is information for future guests). For us, the overall impression is excellent

This was an excepcional 2 nights stay, perfect to complete our 3 months of traveling thru many countries. At check in, we were offered an upgrade, that we were not sure if we wanted to take. Pilar (I believe that was her name, she is originally from Portugal) heard us talking, and quickly offered to show us 3 rooms to help us make the decision. We decided to upgrade to #408. A very spacious room, tastefully decorated, great lighting and very quiet. Wonderful confortable bed, pillows, nice linens and toiletries. The dinner buffet was delicious, sweet smiling Salom was very attentive making sure the line was always well stocked with the tasty dishes. Breakfast was outstanding, well presented with a wide selection of breads, including gluten free products. Many cheeses, smoked salmon, eggs, avocados, pastries, hot choices, veggies, etc. There was a 24/7 coffee/tea/hot chocolete station in the lobby and all the employees were always eager to make our stay the best possible. Great location. Close to the train station and the places that we wanted to visit. Oslo was the most expensive city on our 3 months travel but we felt that this hotel was worth our money. We would definitely love to come back to this hotel!

Very friendly, Wyoming staff at reception, breakfast and dinner lounge. Excellent food choices and quality - a great value and location, and comfortable bed and pillows and duvet.

Lighting in room was poor - no direct lighting except for bathroom and entry hall. Need more and brighter lights/options in bedroom area. A rack to place suitcase would be helpful so to not put dirty suitcases on bed! One light on bathroom mirror did not light up. Finally, even though I was there for just one night, 2 bath towels would have been nice. I didn't ask for more. But I think one bath and one hand towel is not adequate for 2 nights. These things are easy to fix!

Location of the hotel was excellent, we traveled from the airport by train to the city center and the hotel was very close by and easy to find. We stayed in a superior room and found it very spacious with good bathroom facilities. Breakfast was excellent very good selection could not be faulted.

Bedroom Lighting could be improved in the main room it was quite dark. Comfortable bed shame that there is a lot of noise from a nearby nightclub so between 10pm and 3am in the morning expect to get woken or very little rest. We noticed that at random times the air conditioning unit was making strange noises as well.

The hotel location is great for tourists, especially if you plan to visit the city. The main touristic objectives are preatty close to hotel, around one hour by foot. Public transport is very good, so no issues going to distant places. Food was great - tasty, plenty and variated Rooms - taking in consideration we did go visiting the city neighbourhoods, we did not spend so much time in the room, but we found it confortable and relaxing. The hotel employees were very friendly. As side note, even we arrived pretty late and there were only 15 min till dinner program end, we were checked in quickly and adivsed to go directly to the restaurant to enjoy dinner. We were not rushed to finish or something. We had no problem communicating in English no matter where we went in the city.

We were a family of four, the room was duble deluxe - but was missing a wardrobe fitted for all of us. It was not a great issue because we sayed 4 nights only, but for longer holydays you might not want to keep all closes packed into the suitsace. Room air conditioning was too noisy and since is centalised system, you cannot control the fans speed.

Lovely staff, very friendly and welcoming.... great breakfast, just a pity we had to rush it for an early flight! Our room was good, noisy when the windows were open but no noise at night thankfully. There was a separate bath/shower room to the loo which is handy, and very comfy beds. We had dinner too, really tasty, a great pasta dish and lots of salads. All in all, a good stay. I'd recommend this hotel for those who need to be a 5min walk from the train station but no noise from the trains.

Just a small thing, it's not a fantastic location but that's the norm for being near train stations in many cities. We never felt unsafe at all, and we walked to the station at 7am, just be aware. During the day we walked down to the main part of the city very easily and quickly.

Excelent location near train station for further traveling by train or to the airport while still in walking distance to the city centre, delicious rich breakfast and surprise sweet snack and dinner (limited choice), comfortable bed, fridge in the room, very helpfull staff - eventhough the air conditioning cannot be controlled from the room I raised a question about turning it off or at least lowering its intensity and the reception staff asked the technitian to try to do so and in a while it was not so intensive in my room which I truly appreciated.

Nothing major, however, ability to control the air conditioning in the room would be prefered. There was no proper wardrobe or desk in the room which seems to be a new trend in order to save space.

We had a great stay. The staff were lovely, especially with our 2-year old. Our room was spacious with plenty of room for the the wee one to run around. The breakfast buffet was delicious and extremely generous, served in a gorgeous room. The dinner was also very good - we had read mixed reviews but honestly it was great value for money. While there may not be a menu as such, the buffet included a mix of soup, salads, meat or fish. Unless you are on the fussy side, you will always find more than enough to put a generous dinner together. The location is supercentral, a few steps away from the central train station and well connected to other parts of Oslo.

With the exception of the bathroom, the room decor was just a tad dated and could do with a refresh. There isn't a bar within the hotel but there are plenty of options in the neighbourhood.

There is nothing not to like. The check in was very easy, we were on the 7th Floor, where the magic happens (dinner and fika). We arrived just in time for dinner and we had breaded turkey, with vegetables, some spreads, pepper and tomato soup, coffee and water. Every evening the dinner was very good, one day there was pork, potatoes and vegetables soup, and another we had fish and chips and fennel soup. The fika was ok, we had the same cake on 2 days and coffee. The breakfast was the best I have ever had, with everything you could possibly want, including raw honeycomb, fresh bluberries, salmon, lime and ginger shots. The room was big, with 2 bathrooms, one with a toilet, one with a bath. The shower was perfect, the room with the bath had floor heating and Rituals products. On our last day, we left our luggages there, we came to pick them up and asked if we could spend another our at the reception. They were very welcomming, they even invited us to have a coffee or a tea, while we were waiting to leave. All in all it is a really nice hotel.
