Great hotel with an amazing location and cool design. Good selection for bfast. We enjoyed our stay there.

When I made my booking I specifically mentioned in the request that our flight gonna arrive late and picked up check-in time from 2 am the next day. Flight got delayed, we arrived exhausted to find out that door in the hotel is locked and we had to spend good 15 minutes to actually get into the hotel. That was a huge disappointment for me because it says that reception open for 24 hours and that was the main reason for me to book this specific place.

- It was hard to set up a working space in the room. The desk was a bit too small and stuck into a corner, the chair was not that comfortable, the lighting was not ideal. One of the outlets was not working correctly when trying to work from the couch. - Food quality at the restaurant was slightly below expectations - Wifi could be faster for the price and more secured with individual passwords

The first impression was that it is a new hotel, very clean and tidy. With well trained employees who are always ready to help you in your any request. And it feels that they want to help you not because they have to, but because they want. This is my second time at this place, and it's definitely not the last. Beautiful, comfortable rooms, amazing breakfast with a big variety of food, cheerful team. What can be better - the location! It is just right across the street from the railway station and the bust stop. So easy and so near, and there is no chance to get lost, but the same there's is no noise from trains in the rooms. Also, just 50 meters from the hotel there is a mall where you can buy anything you want - food, clothes, accessories. And also around this mall some restaurants where you can eat. This is a really great location. I will definitely recommend this hotel to all my friends who are traveling to Katowice. One more thing I want to add regarding the Mercure Katowice team - those people are amazing. You are entering the lobby like a guest, leaving like a part of Mercure family. Thank you, dear team for such a great service.

The best staff and service around! Really lovely hotel, brilliant location, close to excellent shopping and restaurants, as well as good links to public transport. Room was nice and comfortable with a decent set up. Nice air con. Bed was large and comfortable. Downstairs there is a nice bar/restaurant area, it's very pretty, nice for when you want to relax and unwind at the hotel.

The shade of green in our room was interesting, but other than that I could not find a single fault - it was perfect

This hotel is in an excellent location right by the train station and a large shopping mall. Maybe we were the first guests to use our room because I’ve never been in such a clean room. It was also very quiet all night. We loved the exterior living wall, and the room was nicely designed as well. The staff at the front desk were very friendly!

I would have liked to exchange 2-3 Euros at the front desk. I didn’t need a lot of currency from an ATM. The bathroom door had a large gap when closed.

The location is ideal. The hotel is situated across a square from a large shopping mall with many options where to eat Quiet and spacious room and very comfortable bed. Very clean.

We arrived in a heat wave and the a/c in the room could not cope. Even at its lowest setting, the room still felt hot. Very nice bathroom but the sides of the bath are a bit too high for someone who is elderly. The breakfast menu is extensive but it did not include fried eggs (for those who are not keen on the hard boiled or scrambled alternatives).

Excellent location, everything is new and fresh. The bed are extremely comfortable, the air conditioning is quiet and working well. The hotel has a great view on the central railway station and it's close to many attractions in Katowice.

There is no floor heating in the bathroom. It is very easy to get the bathroom floor wet with cold water that does not drain by itself. The driveway to the underground parking garage is very short and sharp. It is pretty hard to enter with a large car if you want to drive according to the road signs. It is easier to enter if you drive wrong way on the one way street instead.

A clean & comfortable stay right in heart if the city center, situated 2 mins walk from the train station, it was too easy to find .. helpful staff who found a nearby Covid test centre for us the day before our flight home :) Lovely decor/theme, the bathroom was spanking clean as if brand new! 10/10.

Great location- a few steps away from the central railway station. If you are arriving by car, take advantage of the hotel's underground carpark, hassel-free parking spot directly in the city center. Breakfast was tasty and varied. Busy time is around 8-8.30. Rooms are quiet, can hardly hear the bustle of the city outside.

Hard to find any faults. Pricewise on the steep side but difinitely worth a few extra PLN.

New place so everything clean and in good order. Bar was great and good coffee. Staff spoke english and were helpful. Use laundry facilities and clothes came back clean and in excellent condition. I will be staying at the Mercure in Florence next weekend. If it is anything like Katowice I will be very happy
