My wife and I chose Marriott for our romantic vacation in Katowice. The hotel is located in an excellent location, the room was spacious and sparkling clean, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was awesome - bacon, eggs, beans, fruits, vegetables, Marriott has it all. We were surprised by a special bottle of wine sent to us from the hotel with a card wishing us a great romantic vacation :-) In the first evening, when we wanted to take a shower, we discovered the water are not going down the drain. We called the reception and although it was past 21:00, a few minutes later, a maintenance man arrived and fixed it very fast - excellent service!!!

All was perfect

We booked a stay for 9 people in the hotel as it offers a great view and a convenient location and it's a Marriott which sets a standard in itself. We enjoyed our stay - the rooms were quite spacious and modern, and the housekeeping staff was very attentive and meticulous. Breakfast at the hotel was superb, the spread selection was very good offering a huge variety of dishes for carnivores and vegetarians. It's also based on the 27th floor and offers great views of the city.

There were a few concerns which we addressed with the manager. We regularly stay in hotels and stayed in Courtyard hotels in the past and had certain expectations, especially from the front office team in our experience - it just wasn't dedicated, proactive or customer-centric which should be a given in the XXI century. While I am Polish and used to this standard of service, I think it can be a turn-off for some (it was for us).

The room was really spacious and clean. The view is just like the pictures, stunning. The bathroom has all you need, only flip flops were missing but we called the reception and they brought us a pair in like 2'. The people were very kind (not only the reception girls but also the staff that works in 27th floor). Not to mention the breakfast that it's super, delicious and in wide variey. It's perfect, I definately would stay again!

Staff, room, facilities, parking - all was good.

Did not take breakfast, hence, according to hotel rules, they were not allowed to sell a cup of morning coffee. It is either pay for breakfast, or get lost. Area around the hotel is not the best.

Excellent, varied breakfast on 27th floor. Large room with a very comfy king bed. A unique view trough the window. It was my 3rd stay at this hotel, I'll be back there sometime.

Apart from the price nothing

A - in fact - very minimal thing was a small noise I could here in the night. It sounded like a knock-knock every minute but according to the receptionist this could have been the ice machine and it have been real drops.

A good hotel, with a nice top floor restaurant. Staff were good and helpful. We enjoyed our stay. Easy walk to town. Great views of the city,

We had to move rooms due the fridge not working.

Very comfortable hotel for stay in Katowice. Close to major attractions and communication, easily accessible parking. Modern rooms, comfortable, although they could be a little bigger tbh. Best hotel breakfast you can get, with chefs ready to take custom orders.

Our room was on 19th floor and despite solid windows, we could hear a/c generators from the roof of office building in the same complex. Not ideal.

Location is super convenient, right in the city center and very accessible to the main shopping street and many restaurants and bars nearby. Room is clean with a nice view of the city. Breakfast is on the 27th floor with a spectacular view of the city.

Breakfast was one of the best I had, omelet was so tasty, I tried my best to hold myself not to eat one more. Large variety of smoothies, and delicious deserts and croissants. ladies assisted very well, and hardworking they were. restaurant were located on 27th floor with a very nice view. View from my room were fantastic, I requested to stay the highest floor possible, and it was given to 26th floor :) room was so clean and useful, as it was described in website, very large and comfortable bed, with large equipped accessories, I had requested to early check in and I had :)

I had problem with check out date, after the breakfast, my room key somehow did not work, and should go down to reception twice in order to activate the room key once again, receptionist was so helpful, and try her best to handle the problem.
