Central & lively location but the room itself was clean, safe, and quiet. Spacious room with 3 single beds, a small table, and closet space for clothing. I got the room facing the courtyard instead of any room facing the street. Location was great, very easy to get to the main town square in Krakow, buses, train station, Muzeum Narodowe, etc. I liked the nice light wood interior decoration. Receptionist was always nice & helpful, allowed me to store baggage.

There was no breakfast but was given a McDonald's voucher. Not a problem, I ate elsewhere. There was a really good authentic Polish kitchen called Przypiecek nearby two streets over with many different kinds of pierogi, cold beet soup, potato pancakes, bigos, etc. Many Polish people were eating there (as opposed to tourists) and the food was very good.

The position of the Hostel Brana is in the very centre of the city, just about 10 minutes walk from the main train station and less than 5 minutes from the main square. Although it is on a busy street it isn't that noisy in the night, anyway I travel with earplugs. The staff was very friendly. Neutral - breakfast is via voucher for breakfast menu in McDonald next door. It is nice once or twice but 4 days in row it may be a bit repetitive and well, not very healthy. Room was quite hot.

The temperature of the water is fixed and it is just on the verge of just starting to be warm in the shower. There is no tap in the shower but only a press button, which is very annoying and impractical. The shower head is fixed high on the wall which is annoying and impractical. The bed was too soft for my taste but it is a matter of habit. There is a convertible couch in the room which would be nice but it was trying to unfold to bed when I was sitting on it and leaning on the back of it.

First time in a hostel, and I loved it! I stayed in a single room with private bathroom. - The location is perfect - The look inside of hostel is very nice - The Breakfast in the McDonald's is ok, but the McDonald's could have more choices (Not Brama Hostel fault) - The room is comfortable and they gift us with tea in the room - The staff at the hostel is very kind and helpful

- When I arrived the bathroom was not very well clean, I report it, and the next day they clean again and this time was perfect (they immediately offer me to switch room but I prefer to stay and wait to the be clean) - They have dark curtains in the room, but a little of light enters anyway by morning - The flush button of the toilet should be fixed

This hostel accommodates groups as well as single tourists, like myself. The place is full of charm; Kind receptionists. Lovely spacious room on the 3rd floor (no lift) with double bed. White bedding and beautiful white embroided towels provided. Wooden flooring. Nice table with kettle, coffee and tea selection. Large wardrobe. Bedsides and side lamps with sockets on both sides. Large modern bathroom, some toiletries, hot water 24/7. TV ; everything clean and working. Waking up service was not available. There is no age limit for quests.

This hostel is very central, only 5-10 minutes walking from the central railway and coach station. The main sights of Cracow are to be reached very easily, within 5-20 walking-minutes away. The room was clean, big, with water-cattle for tea or coffee making. The breakfast was in the neighbouring building at McDonalds. The bed was comfortable and there was no irritating noise. The staff was friendly with good command of English.

There is no lift in this building. I was placed in the third floor. If you have difficulties to carry your luggage up to your room or have serious moving problems, you should book somewhere else.

Superb on every level. The area is very busy & extremely noisy but this is to be expected. I didn’t mind the noise as I go to sleep quite late. The staff are exceptional! Every one of them. I particularly commend Lucas & Gosia as well as Christopher. All incredibly attentive, kind, thoughtful, caring and helpful 🙏🥰

The noise from the street/people below, but this was expected. The first night I didn’t have hot water, however tonight I have a different room, very beautifully, comfortable, luxurious & elegant. The shower & sink fawcett have hot water 😃👏 Very happy and content. I would absolutely recommend the Brama Hostel & apartments to friends

The location was great, central and in the old town. Great staff and helpful, you have coupons for breakfast from mac, it was OK but they open 8am and if you need to leave before then you miss your breakfast anyways

Showers and bathroom water had automatic closing system which can be really annoying when showering. No hand soap. Would have liked to open window during the heat at night but it was hard with the noisy street but not the accommodation fault just a result of the location. Also my room was very narrow but that didn’t bother me.

In most aspects, this place is the perfect combination: The location could hardly be more central, the staff were helpful and friendly, and the price is a good value. The room itself is plain and nothing special, but for people travelling on a budget, it is a near-perfect option for people who want to stay near the center of the city.

The only thing I could complain about is that staying at a location which is so central in a large and very touristy city like Krakow does bring a certain amount of noise at night: Some bar or club outside was playing audible music until something like 4:00 in the morning. This is not the hostel's fault, it's just a consequence of being in the center of Krakow at night, but it's something to consider if you need to sleep in silence.

It was easy to access the sightseeing area and I was able to stay at a good price. The room was spacious and quiet, so I was able to spend a relaxing time.The room was open and comfortable. Unfortunately, I couldn't have breakfast, but they adjusted the amount for that.

There was no shampoo or body soap, and I didn't prepare a hair dryer, so it was helpful to bring my own. I had a hard time carrying my suitcase because there was no elevator.

I really enjoyed the place, it's right in the city centre, but in the room it's very quiet, as windows were on the backyard. The staff is very nice and breakfasts are ok. WiFi was also ok, so I was able to work from my room.

1. No elevator, as it's old style house, so be ready to take your luggage up on your own. 2. No bathroom staffs, like shower gel or even soap, so I should have bought them on my own. 3. Homeless people around the hostel, near the hostel, and even sleeping at the stairs of the hostel, that was a kind of frustrating seeing this almost every day.
