Great view of the river from our room (see pics). We enjoyed watching the fishing boats in the morning. Stateroom was tight, however as on a small ship we expected this. Everything was clean. On board restaurant & bar were very nice, also a good selection of other restaurants and shopping within a reasonable walk. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice, colorful little town with a beautiful beach. "Outer Banks, Portugal style".

Only real complaint was lack of A/C in the room. I first assumed ours was broken (fan ran with no compressor), however the desk clerk stated there was none on board. Got a bit hot and stuffy during the day but cooled off nicely at night with the window open. Might be a problem later in the season if the weather gets hotter. We were there at the end of May.

The idea and the location is good. Amenities are clean and new. The view from our cabine and from the restaurant was fantastic.

Acoustic. You hear everyone on the corridor and everyone hears you in the cabin. Though this is usually inherent to the ships, yet it is sometimes irritating. Flushing in our cabin was wery weak though in restaurant that was OK. There was no hairdryer, though it was top rank cabin. Service at breakfast - awful, though personnel was friendly. Food and drinks were replenished so late despite reminders, so we noticed guests that came late were discouraged and dissapointed. Management has to step in. All except acoustic could be easily improved.

The room was lovely and much bigger than anticipated. The bed was comfortable, there was seating for two as well as a closet and counter space. We had a view of the town, not the water channel, but it was still nice. There is a restaurant and bar on board making it an easy place to relax and enjoy without wandering about. The front desk staff and waiters were extremely kind and helpful. A well laid out breakfast was included.

Lovely stylish place ..clean and in a lovely area. Nicely furnished and accommodating for all needs. Friendly staff too. It's certainly something a little different. Lots on offer at breakfast and great coffee and juices..glad we were just above water line in our budget room. Would go in a suite though next time.

Walls between rooms are very thin and unfortunately our neighbours were quite inconsiderate late at night which meant we didn't sleep very well. Hot items at breakfast were cold but the selection was very good and plentiful..

The location was absolutely amazing! The atmosphere there, i can imagine spending a week or more there! It was so calming. The beds were really comfy, the interior very stylish, the lounge bar was top! Also the breakfasts, oh my god, awesome! It was one of the best accommodations I´ve stayed at! And Costa nova is so cute place! You can get to the sand beach through cute colorful street and walking paths in 3 minutes :)

The staff was really helpful, bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean, the view from the window was amazing :) I particularly liked an opportunity to enjoy my time on the upper deck - it was super nice!

It's not that I didn't like something, but it's important to remember: this is a real boat, meaning that the standard room is super small and the bathroom is tiny. If your height is more than 180 cm you won't be able to stand upright.

The staff was fantastic. The rooms were clean and charming. Beds super comfortable. Location and parking were superior. It was a wonderful experience.

Toilets could be stronger and the warning should read "no toilet paper or feminine products in toilets" as I mistook their warning for only feminine products. That would eliminate any confusion.

We LOVED staying here on the boat. We arrived late as our flight got in late and there was someone ready to check us in. The rooms are cosy and the bathroom cosier (okay, small but it is a boat!) and it made for a truly unique and wonderful experience. We were upgraded too which was a bonus and the breakfast was 5 star! We cannot wait to come and stay here again!

Its personal taste but the mattress was a little hard.

This is a unique experience… sleeping in a boat in Portugal, near Aveiro. Had an amazing time. I strongly recommend the boat and the staff was wonderful, made us feel really welcomed. The room view is a bonus.

This is not a complaint, but if you like large showers and big rooms, this is not for you. For the experience, the small space was worth the try.

A great boat from its comfortable, attractive well priced bar, to our quaint wooded cabin room to a menu of delicious food! Breakfast was a beautiful display of cut up fruit, a range of fresh pastries, granola and eggs and bacon. The young staff were so helpful and friendly. indeed a lovely experience!

I can’t fault it for anything!
